Recently I went in to switch carriers. I explained to the guy behind the counter I wanted the cheapest plan which is 40$.The phone would be free all I have to to pay is sales tax. Its on there website you can see it clear as day no activation fees. The guy tells me my total is 100$ and I can pick out a free case. I was given no receipt to show what I was charged. So I called metro by t-mobile customer service the next day they would not even speak to me because the guy didnt spell my last name correct or even use my last name the guy used a totally different last name he had my Id the whole time I was in the store also He didnt give me my pin number. After about 2 hours of trying to figure out what he did I was able to speak with someone. 1st he put me on a 50$ plan when that not what I asked for and put a 5$ add on on top of that.He put my last name as uknon. Also he still had my Id.The metro by t-mobile customer service guy explained to me that I was right all you have to pay is 1st month service and the taxes on the phone which was 16$.I should of only paid 56$ somewhere around there with taxes. This is ridiculous.
Ive been dealing with this location for over ten years. They arent looking for those crazy small fees. I needed to activate a phone for three days. Basically, just to get past my two step verification. The phone didnt even have a working sim card. Moe, knew Ive been waiting on my I Phone for two weeks. He did everything possible to save me money and make sure l had a working phone by the time l left. Those guys up there are legit. I write a review here and there, but Id actually felt the need to share my experience.
