Good Peoples. Needed 4 12s. And swapped out MTX 8000s on my self proclaimed Rolling Thunder equiped with a 2400 wt Orion XTR Competition Amp, 1000 watt 80 amp 120 volt AC/DC inverter, 2 Pioneer 6x9s and a Alpine CD/DVD player Reciever all put together by me. This thing shakes my whole garage. And it can handle over twice as much power than it is receiving.Also has antenna for OTA channels.. ROLLING THUNDER will roll anywhere and plug right into any 120 volt outlet. I can also have an adapter RCA to a USB C so I can plug my phone or tablet in and play anything from the net. Had 2 12 in punch before but they were stolen from an Auto Body shop so the owner of the shop offered me this MTX box. So I took em inlu of having nothing. But my 2400 wt Orion BLEW the caps right off them. I dont think these P3D4s will blow wired in 4 ohm.THANK YOU! Mickey Shore.

Lincoln Park Mickey Shorr charges whatever they think you’ll pay. They charged me $309.00 to hook a 4 ch amp to my subs in my 300s. Then I waned them to hook a 4 ch amp to my insides and was told it would be $389.00. He went on to tell me they would have to replace the wires on my 6x9’s. That is a darn lie. I told him they can tap into the wires. And he looked at me like I didn’t know what I was talking about. Went somewhere else and was told they’ll do it for $275.00. And they will tap into the wires. LINCOLN PARK MICKEY SHORR IS A RIPOFF.

I am still waiting to get my car fixed from the damage they caused installing a electric starter, stereo and two speakers. I had it installed December 24th and I am still getting the runaround. Seems like nobody knows the corporate number. I had to find it on my own. Now I would like to have all my stuff removed and my money back and have them fix the damage. Wait for Corporate to get back with me. Next up after that if they cant resolve it Im suing.

Based on the wifes experience, I went here and I am very pleased. The drivers seat had something going on, most likely something stuck in the adjustment track, for the seat to go back. It would only go so far, and I havent had the time to invest in tweaking it. When I picked up the vehicle today, with the radio, I bought in, and the remote starter, purchased there, installed. My drivers seat adjustment was corrected. Very pleased.

They dont do scheduled appointments or allow you to drop your car off the night before so you can be in line the next day. It would be nice, this way you can just pick it up after they get to it.They practice a first come first serve type installation process - which must work for them - but it didnt work for me, the customer.I would have paid the extra money for the remote starter had they been able to accommodate my request, but they couldnt, which caused me to shop elsewhere - and - ultimately find a significantly better deal. (True Story) This is the good thing that came out of this visit.I remember when this shop first opened, literally. Rick W. was the install shop manager and I think *Dan was the show room manager. Both great guys.It was excellent customer service back then and these two together bent over backwards to get a deal done. Oh, the goodol days. LOL.The 3 star review is because they couldnt accommodate my request and they were significantly more expensive than what I ultimately found elsewhere.However I am grateful for the history I had with this place and the great deals in years past (they did all my work for a long time). I was a loyal customer because of this. Now I feel like I cheated on them by going to another shop (the guilt, LOL).If you are reading this, maybe youll have a better experience. Share a review if you do.Perhaps I was there on an off day? Now Ive experienced the awesome service and competitive pricing from another car audio shop who has now earned my repeat business.

Was having issues with my remote starter. First time I paid $80 for a new fob and to work on it. But then the alarm started going off at all hours of the night. Now if that was the end of my story this would be a 1 star review but when I took it back they apologized because they couldnt figure out why it was doing it. And they replaced the system for no additional charge. So Im happy with the service. My starter is working and my neighbors arent calling the cops on me for my alarm going off anymore. Friendly staff, highly recommended.

BEWARE!! This establishment sold my husband tweeters but did not install them! He just removed the tweeters he bought and found that they were factory speakers! When he came to pick up the car after the service, they claimed there was a balance due for additional work that was not discussed. The work performed was also sub-par. Go anywhere else.

Decent price for a remote starter install. Wait was grueling as there was no heat in the small waiting area. I ended up pacing the store looking for warm spots. Mike helped by being entertaining and genuine. Will recommend for service, but to bring a heating blanket for the wait.

Waited 6 hrs for my alarm system to be installed. Then after I get my car back. The radio don’t work at all and they never bothered to even fix it for me. When they knew it didn’t work after the fact when they were done with my alarm.

Seen in the web sight that the store was open till 9pm(holiday hours) as I was driving up you couldn’t tell it was open, complete lack of lighting, so I stopped tried the door and lucky for me it was open, explained what was going on and have it set up for them to look into an issue with my radio on Monday morning 9am

Im not sure what others are talking about in this post. Mickey Shorr in Lincoln park has the best customer service, speak with DJ. The installation was more than professional. They show you everything there doing, and why they are doing it. Andy installed my system. All I can say is Im very pleased with my service. I would recommend this location to anyone.

I had problems with rattling coming from my 6X9 speakers. They were found to be defective. When I bought my system I purchased the 5 year warranty. When I went up to the shop my warranty had expired a few days earlier. They honored my warranty anyway and replaced both speakers with no hassle. I tried giving 0 stars but it would not let me. By far the rudest most inconsiderate employees I have ever dealt with. Ive called four times in the last three weeks to see if I could be fit in and I was denied every time. I went into this BUSY store myself (mind you, they had two cars in the parking lot and two guys sitting on their butts inside) to be denied again! When I asked what I should do because their time frame of only between 9am-10am to get in doesnt work with my work schedule I was told I dont know what to tell you along with other rude choice phrases. Ive been in customer service for over 15 years; and the way I was treated at this location, like I was an inconvenience to their lounging around was beyond appalling; and the management should be ashamed!! They were no help what so ever and I would of returned it on the spot if I hadnt received it as a gift.Save yourself the hassle and give your business to the Taylor location or just any other Mickey Shorr besides this one.After this encounter I went directly to their Taylor location and received exceptional customer service from them. (even though they were also busy with about 8 cars in their parking lot and could not do the work I was treated respectfully!) I dont dislike Mickey Shorr but the people working at the Lincoln Park location are giving your business a bad rep!

Incomplete job. For almost a 300 dollar job, they had an attitude for putting a panel back together. We had to go to Car Tunes to get it properly fixed. Car Tunes fixed it for no price at all! Anyone who is in Downriver please go to Car Tunes and not Mickey Shorr!

Told me to bring my car and everything I wanted installed just to see it and give me a quote... They couldnt take my word for it..Im an installer and Ive never asked anyone to pile all of their equipment in just so I can look at it. That is a clear sign their installers are lazy.. Hell one of the installers even told me I didnt need a crossover with my subs mids and highs..

For those of you who dont want to read, in short, this shop installed my equipment wrong, tried to potentially steal equipment I provided, and would not fix their faulty installation; leaving me to fix it myself! If you would like me to elaborate on this, I suggest reading the rest of the review. PLEASE do yourself a favor, and dont waste your money here.I went to this store to have an amplifier, wiring, and sub woofer installed, that I provided myself. After getting it installed, they fed me a story about how it could not be installed completely correct, but it will still work (at a reduced quality and power, of course). After looking over the installation, that took them 7 hours, I noticed multiple flaws in their wiring. Furthermore, the didnt use the wiring that I provided, AND they didnt return it to me. After going back to the store, they found MY wiring sitting on a shelf in the back. I believe this would have been used on the installers own car if I hadnt noticed. They apologized for this happening and they told me we will take make it right. Optimistically, I took it back to be fixed. 6 hours, I waited, for the install. When I finally got my car back, I looked at the installation again. The wiring that I provided, was still coiled up in the trunk. Only a foot was used, to go from the amp to the sub woofer. So, 6 hours, it took them to connect a 1 foot long speaker wire to the amp and sub. The speakers, were still not wired with the wiring I provided. The sub woofer, could not be bridged correctly, so it wouldnt receive the right amount of power. The overall sound, was slightly distorted and the bass could hardly be heard.The products I provided, although not top of the line, are tried and true well known products for their quality. After contacting the manufacturers of all these products, and talking to audio veterans on online forums, I concluded that these products could be hooked up with no problems. Although they would have to be hooked up correctly, and this store could not provide that.After feeling jerked around, and unappreciated by this business, I decided I wouldnt take it back to be correctly fixed again, because I know, it wont be fixed.One month later, the sound started cutting out, and a few days after that; the sound wasnt working at all. For 3 days, I went without audio in my car. The amp was in protection mode. It being winter, it was too cold to fix myself, so I took it back to Mickey Shorr. They said theyd look at it, as I stood around for an hour and a half. They said the found a problem and they were fixing it. When they were done, they said all they did was turn the power on the amp down.As soon as I left, of course, the amp was not working still. They told me that was all they could do, and the amp was simply going into protect mode because it is not powerful enough. Knowing a few things about car audio, I know this is untrue. The amp would only going into protect if the power was too high, although it didnt work even on the lowest power setting.Now, I have to fix the amp myself, because the installers, were not skilled enough to do it (in the 16 hours they had my car, yes 16 HOURS!). Did I mention that the quote ending being too low by about $75? I will absolutely never go here again, and if you care about your money, you will not either.

I dont know what the first person went through but my install was definitely on the professional side of things, nothing sloppy at all proper with hiding all wires and used quality components..... Taking my new car in to have killer audio installed as well.... Dj showed all kinds of love.... I recommend this place to anyone.......

They know how to put electrical things in your car! I had a remote starter installed in my car along with a h o r n that signals you are lost! I mean when you have lost your car! A little tip, if you and your remote control at the top of a tree or a light pole itll extend the range greatly!

Bought a remote start from here last Christmas and trying to have them install it alone was pulling teeth, but lets jump forward to today when I go in to have my key resynced to the system because it stopped sending a signal to the valet button/main unit. I decided to drop by on my way home from work instead of messing with because a place that does a large amount of remote starter installs would be able to fix this pretty quick right, well surprise they told me to come back tomorrow so they can look over the whole system and that it will be roughly a 45 dollar charge if its not under warranty. I decided not to do this run around with them again like they did when I initially wanted to get the system installed. When I pulled up in front of my house I typed in my model number for the fob and typed pairing instructions and found what I needed. It took me 3 minutes tops to fix it and have it working again. This place is a joke had them wire my subs and amps wrong before as well, should of learned to just go to car tunes a long time ago.

I came here somewhat clueless about what to buy. Stan did a great job explaining things for me and picking the right system for me and my car. Rudy did a stellar job hooking up my stuff too. Its always easier taking apart stuff. But putting it back together is what really counts. I messed up pretty bad but Rudy does miracle work. Definitely suggest coming here anytime.

Right on receipt it said I would be back the next Saturday get there 7 people waiting in parking lot at 8 a.m. get in line go inside guy says can only do 5 remote starts had 2 guys call off I was 6th in line so... Went back today no one there literally no cars in lot 2bguys inside 1 on phone 1 on computer then they tell me it will be awhile and try to charge me more than original price like 80 bucks I left told them to shove it dont go there ever

Walked in to get a quote on a sub/amp install and the guy sat on the phone for 15 minutes just bs’ing with his boss about another customers recipe,. He had to have been new because he had no idea how to do his job or acknowledge other customers walking in.
