Meat city is great when you need a few little things. They have a wide variety of anything you would need. Great place and will definitely visit and shop there again.

They used to have the best fish in town. Now who ever is cooking it is cooking it way to long its like eating potato chips. The fried Bologna and collard greens are really good

Ive been living in Lima for just over four years, and this week was the first time Ive ever been to meat city. I was actually really impressed with the great selection of meat and other groceries they have here. The fresh cooked food is pretty good as well. I wouldve never guessed a place like this would have some of the best boasted chicken Ive ever had. Now that I know what Ive been missing here, Ill most definitely be going back more often.

The fresh fried chicken is pretty good! Id recommend since Lees is the only other chicken place on that side of town. and they close kinda early

I have a question. I went thru Drive this morning and got a flyer. My question is how good are your NY Strip Steaks at $4.99/pound? Price is very low but the photo shows a high quality cut of meat. If they are good, Ill by them. Ill check back for a reply.

The workers are pretty nice, and are pretty quick in the morning when Im headed to work. I love their homemade Rice Krispy treats but they run out quick. They have alot of different stuff as well, like Hay in the winter.

Best place to shop for school pizzas and other delicacies. Only reason its not 5 stars, is the atmosphere. The customers are usually rude and obnoxious, loitering is a contest here. If you didnt grow up here, I dont recommend stumbling in there all naively. Better have a some change and a cigarette to fend off the mob on your way to the door. This may be off putting for some, but its just Southside Lima love for me ❤️

Went there for the first time with a friend and went through the drive thru with $11 in change and the woman was great about it. Counted the change really fast and we were on our way.

Worst experience with customer service in Lima. Went there on my 30min lunch break.. went back to work empty handed 45min later. Spent prob about 15-20min waiting for my food (10:30am not even a busy time) then waited forever because their registers went haywire.. I explained that I was on my lunch break after waiting the first 5 minutes the man said it would only be another min well I waited 15 more minutes atleast and explained I had to leave, which is usually where a reputable business savvy establishment might offer the food I had been holding for the last 20 minutes free of charge but nope.. thanks for ruining my day Meat City.. I will never go back and I will tell others of my experience

Its a decent place to go if your just there to buy 3 or 4 things, they really dont gave much to choose from besides chips, candy, pop, etc. Things that you would find at any gas station. That do sell a few grocery items like bread, cheese and milk. Just dont go have to do your actual grocery shopping.

The window open all night...the inside of store doesnt open until 10am and closes around 9pm. Im sure about the time inside opens not so sure about the time onside closes...windows always open though for sire 24/7

The meat is always fresh and top quality. You wont beat their meat! However, I think the pizza and chicken that they serve is a rip-off. I paid 7 dollers for two tiny chicken wings and some wedges! Cmon now. Although this place is convienent. They cash checks, sell alcohol, groceries, whatever you need pretty much.
