I like Star Carpeting. I have done business with them for years and will continue to do so l. They have been here forever. I bought carpet for my bedroom and hallway eighteen years ago and I still like it The quality is excellent. I like working with the people there when I need their help picking out carpeting or linoleum.

I took two of my rugs to get cleaned here and they dont even look like theyve been touched. I would definitely take your business to someone else. The property literally had trash piled up everywhere and the warehouse looked like a dump on the inside so I shouldve taken that as a hint but didnt.UPDATE: I called and asked for my money back but the guy I talked to refused and said the only thing he could do was reclean it for me. I dont know what recleaning it would do since the first cleaning didnt do anything...

Rude, unfriendly, and clearly did not want to deal with us. Went looking for a specific size. Told him what was found at another carpet store to compare and he actually said we should go back and buy it. It doesn’t take a degree to be able to show kindness to others, especially when they are potential customers. I will never return to this place and I will go out of town to purchase what I need. I don’t recommend them to anyone.

We just built a new house.....looked all around for carpet in Lima.....Star was 1/2 the price as everyone else...and the padding was better.....I saved $500 on 2 rooms..... bottom line....BEST PRICES IN LIMA FOR CARPET!!!.... great local company!!!

I took my 5x8 rug in to have it cleaned. They called me back a week later to say its ready. I was soooo disappointed when I got it home to see it was never cleaned! They said I could take it back in to get it cleaned again but they wouldnt reimburse me.

The worst service I have received from any company I have ever done business with. I spent 4500 dollars and the floor cracked. It has been 5 months and moved my furniture 3 times. Its still not resolved. The owner is trying to bully me and my wife. Please dont make the same mistake we did. Dont do business with this company. Please let anybody that is thinking of buying flooring not to buy it from them.

This was my first time dealing with Star Carpet. I Measured my bedroom and the measurement was 12 feet 3 1/4 inches wide including doorways by 13 feet 6 inches long. They told me they would send 2 guys out to do the work and only one guy came and he measured differently than I did. They also charged us $20 for gas to come out to lay the carpet. I put less than $20 in gas for my vehicle and that can last me 5 times going to Lima and back to my house. The guy couldnt lift the carpet and asked me to bring it in my bedroom and untie it and once it was cut had to help rotate it. Then I saw him take the extra piece of leftover carpet with him instead of asking if I wanted it to keep. The guy took 5 hours to do the room which it should have taken less time to do. I call to get the piece of remaining carpet back and they said the carpet came out perfectly to 12 feet by 14 feet. They called my wife saying they had the extra carpet there that they charged us for and when she went there they couldnt find it and told her reasons why they didnt have it. They fed me bunch of crap and wouldnt apologize for inconvenience along with keeping the spare carpet piece. Poor communication and handling of the laying of the carpet. Overall satisfaction was bad since they pieced a small bit by the door leading to the hallway which looks terrible and that they basically called me a liar. This is not how a business should be ran. I took years of business classes in college and have a bachelors degree and know this is definitely not what you should do to customers. Just a disgrace of a business towards new customers.

Terrible service carpets were not cleaned. Some of the carpet was left soaking wet while other parts were not hardly damp. I would not recommend

I would not do business with this place! The salesmen we had to deal with was terrible and makes me wonder how they stay in business. Had much better treatment at Lowes, Menards and Tim Hogans for carpeting.

Dont even know what to say. Just pitiful. Took my area rug in to be cleaned. They called me a week later saying it was ready. I picked it up and it still smelled. They said nothing would take the smell out completely. Took it home, enrolled it. It was obvious they NEVER touched it. They didnt even vaccume it. NEVER AGAIN!!!
