1.) We bought a car from Tom Ahl, partly because I wanted a tinted car and they had one I liked.2.) We found out some of the tint on the car was illegal after purchasing it. (windshield and two front windows; the back window tint was legal)3.) We informed Tom Ahl of the issue. My salesperson only offered to remove the illegal tint on the windshield. I said I wanted the illegal tint on both the windshield and front windows, both removed and replaced, because I was under the impression I purchased a legally tinted car. I got an estimate for completely fixing it and it was $259. My salesperson said he would have a manager contact me about my request.4.) A week later, I havent heard from anyone. No texts, e-mails or phone calls about this.Im sick of begging them to fix this, so I am going to pay out of pocket to fix the issue, and we wont be returning here in the future. We came here partly because of the good reputation and were surprised by not only the fact that we were sold a car with anything illegal on it, but also the lack of willingness to fully resolve this.

Stopped in for an express oil change and tire rotation for my Hyundai. I didn’t have an appointment. My wait time in their very comfortable waiting area was just over an hour. This service is free through Hyundai for my 1 year old Tucson. There was no hassle, everyone was courteous and professional. Very satisfied.

Service on my vehicle was great. The problem was that I had an appointment for a simple oil and filter change. It took an hour and 10 minutes for the service. Some cars came through the Express Lane were put in front of mine and were completed before my vehicle.

I’m not a resident of the area but was in need of a tire for my 2021 Tuscan. Charlie in parts went above and beyond searching for a tire because the one I needed was on back order. He found me a comparable tire and had it delivered to the service department the next morning. Upon arrival Ken greeted me and updated me on any “recalls” and there was one that I was not aware of…so thank you to bringing it to my attention! We were in and out in an hour…service was excellent and incredibly courteous!

I really appreciate the helpful staff and service from Tom Ahl Hyundai, Lima OH. They were great in dealing with our car’s recalls, and between them and Hyundai Customer Service, got our car up and running again. I will say they need more assistance answering the phones, they just don’t seems to have enough staff for how busy they are ! But very nice, knowledgeable staff, for sure .

They sold us a SUV. While we test drive it, it had weather tech floor liners. They was gone. It was suppose to be serviced but we had to take it back in bc oil had leaked out every where. Also told us not to worry about last little bit of money we owed. Well 2weeks later they called to tell us we still owed it after they admitted they did say that. The ball joint or bearing is going out. Wow didnt find that when it was serviced. Do not go here. It was all about selling it.

We just purchased our fifth car from the Tom Ahl dealerships. We have always found them to be honest. Although they dont negotiate much, they dont try to low-ball customers on their trades, and an internet search has shown that they price their cars reasonably. Plus, they offer something most dealers dont... a no-extra-cost lifetime power train warranty on each car they sell. The showrooms and office areas are first class, and they have an extensive new and used car inventory, including an Under 10 lot for less expensive used cars. They also have an excellent service department to back-up what they sell. I highly recommend this dealership.

Never get your car fixed here, absolutely terrible.Not sure regarding car buying but as far as getting your car fixed, I would definitely recommend going somewhere else, there was one man who was very professional who works in the shop and was very apologetic, and also the front sales clerk, but the rest of the employees were rude, including a man named Adam, he was on his phone while my boyfriend and his dad were trying to get an issue fixed and he just seemed like he didnt care, and wanted to be right when he wasnt, he was extremely rude, alot of the employees just didnt seem like they knew what they were doing, Im very disappointed and will not be returning to ANY tom ahl location in the future.

As I was getting out of my van to begin looking around, this man happened to be walking by. He seemed to be on his way somewhere but when he saw me he stopped and asked if he could help me. He introduced himself as Gene and asked what I was looking for. We began our search and wasn’t long, he showed me what was going to be my next car. Soon we were filling out the application and was quickly approved. This mans name was Gene Siefker and was very helpful from beginning to end.I began my search with the idea of finding something of interest to bring my husband back to see, but my challenge to Gene was to get me excited about buying a car because I truly wasn’t that thrilled about it. Needless to say, he lead me to this car and I couldn’t take my eyes off if it! It met all my criteria that I gave him and there were no high pressure to make the sale. He really listened and was very pleasant to work with. I typically don’t trust sales people, but the thought never crossed my mind the whole time I was with him walking the lot. I had a terrible experience at the Tom Ahl Hyundai dealership. I had went in asking to pre-qualify for a low intertest loan and an estimate on a trade in. I made no intent to purchase anything day of and I had stated that specifically. I did let them know I had a car in mind at the dealership I was looking at online, but I was not sold on anything. I made no plans on buying that day and never stayed I was going to. As the sales person was taking my information he had made a statement that my job history was not as consistent as he liked. I then told him I was only being honest with him, which as a customer made me feel completely direspected.They had run a hard pull on my credit, which I did not ask for. For pre-qualification they usually do a soft pull so as not to effect your credit rating. Maybe they had to do it this way but they did not think of even telling me about the possible consequences of doing it that way, which at the time I was unaware of. They also stated they were ready to sign me up the moment I was accepted for the loan. I reiterated to them that this is not what I had come in for, which they had all looked perplexed by. But they stated if I did not purchase a vehicle in the next 45 days after they issued a hard pull, my credit would lessen due to the hard pulls. So it almost seemed as if I was being shoved into a situation without the salesman actually understanding what I wanted as a customer and to top it all off he decided to remark upon my job history rudely. This is no way to earn comissions or conduct ones self in a business. He clearly did not have the customer in mind and wanted to make a sale, as it seemed to me, even after I had clearly stated my intentions.With all this said, I belive that the Ahl dealerships in general have great sales persons. I always try to give a business a few chances before I make a final decision. I went next door to the Tom Ahl Buick and GMC dealership and I spoke with Braden Bowman, who was an exceptional and kind gent who helped me without question and had my interests in mind as a customer. I bought a great vehicle at the right price from him and I am personally glad he got the commission. He was trustworthy reliable and direct, which is more than I can say with my experience at the previous stated dealership. there are bad apples at all dealerships, but they are mingled with good, you just have to search around and be ready to push back.Due to my experience I will not reccomend visiting the Tom Ahl Hyundai Dealership.
