We were told the car was fixed. After I called Kia back and complained the service advisor had no idea that was said as it was Actually the service manger they had spoke with. He neglected to acknowledge that there were other issues and my door continued to be an issue. After Vacation my door continued to get worse and be an issue. It wouldnt happen every time but generally after hitting a large bump and first thing in the morning or after not being driven for a few hours we had a terrible time getting the door open. So after failed attempts to reach back out to Taylor Kia of Lima to get the car fixed I drove up to Taylor Kia of Findlay in hopes that would make a difference. Unfortunately my door had already failed to open that morning and I couldnt get it back shut so instead of driving all the way to Findlay with my door open I brought it to my husband who is a mechanic to get it closed for my drive. Because the door was sticking but still opening and closing Findlay sent me on my way. After my terrible experience now at both places I contacted Kia consumer affairs and its been a battle with them as well. After they said they were going to contact Taylor Kia of lima service department on my behalf to make sure my car gets fixed. we now sit on October 6th my car has been in the shop because the apparent parts were in and come to find out they ripped my door apart for nothing because they had the wrong parts. I now have an issue where what we think is a relay thats going bad with my horn because when I turn my car on and it sits there for a minute the horn will sound briefly. its also happened when putting it in reverse. instead of ill have it looked at and see whats wrong. its oh another issue. Well Im sorry Im not the one who built the car so I couldnt tell you what else will go wrong with this thing. All in all after my terrible last year of experiences with disrespect from Taylor Kia of Lima. I would never recommend them to anyone nor would I want to purchase from them again. They say they will have someone higher call back and they send the same person every time. 100% disappointed in the outcome. (part 2)

I got the chance to meet Emily while I was just stopping by. I was planning on getting something, but didnt know it would be so soon. Emily was very nice and didnt push me either way, they simply gave me numbers and asked if they worked for me. I settled on a comfortable amount and drove away with a 22 Sportage for my family, my first new car purchase.My wife loves it and I am glad I took a chance with KIA of Lima. Everyone there is kind and helpful, and Im glad I was Emilys first car sale. Her attitude is great for that business, so you should probably keep her around for new customers like myself. The hardest thing to do sometimes is picking a vehicle to last you for 5 years. Called before I went to make sure they had the car I was looking for I asked the lady on the phone the price since it wasn’t listed on the website. She couldn’t give me the info and told me I could negotiate with the manager when I got there? So I loaded up my 4 and 1 year old and drove 3 hours one way to find out they were asking 10 grand over mrsp and the manager wouldn’t work with anything, the salesman was decent he was nice but didn’t show me any features on the car just opened the doors and asked if I wanted to drive it. Don’t recommend going here unless you have endless money and want to pay more than anywhere else. Also told the salesman I wanted to use my own bank financing but he went ahead and ran my credit for their financing anyway.

Quality of vehicles was poor. When my first choice wouldnt even start, they pulled around a vehicle that was clearly burning oil and blowing white smoke. When I pointed it out, the reaction was well, at least thats still covered under warranty.

I bought my 2015 GMC terrain in June 2020, after telling them I didnt want an extended warranty, however they forced us to buy a warranty for $2500 to get financed. When we looked at the car, we never once had to unlock it, so we were unaware we had the wrong key. A day after taking the car home and trying to unlock it, the car alarm would go off. After unlocking the car multiple times, with the alarm going off Everytime, I finally called a GMC dealer to get a new key while on the phone with the GMC rep, I was informed they didnt make keys without a key fob for 2015 terrains, therefore the Kia dealership sold me the vehicle with a fake key. I called the dealership multiple times to ask about the key, and Everytime was told Ill call my key guy and give you a call back. I never got a return call. I took it up to Tom ahls were they willingly ordered the right key and got it fixed within the week. A year later after I finally paid off the car, I noticed a knocking and bad idle. My vehicle had burned through 4 quarts of oil in 2 months. We took the car back to Taylor kia to see if they could look at it and use that warranty that I was forced to buy . They first told me they would call back a day later and tell me what the problem with car was and if it was covered under warranty. We gave them a day and a half and after no call, took it upon ourselves to call them. They repeatedly didnt answer and didnt ever call back even though we left voicemails. It took over a week for us to finally get an answer that they hadnt had time to really drive the car and figure out the problem, so they would like to keep the car to drive it more, or they could schedule an appointment with a gmc dealer to just diagnose it. We told them to schedule an appointment with the GMC dealer and call back when they were going to get it in. After almost 2 weeks of them having my car, they called and said it was leaking oil. We wanted a second opinion because we knew it was burning oil and not leaking . The refused to call GMC after they said they would so we decided to go get the car. When we got there, they had all the sensors unplugged, the breather box was disconnected. They didnt put my dipstick back and lost my new key for about 20 minutes. The service here was terrible. I wouldnt recommend anyone buy a car here or take a car here for service.

They will keep any money that you put down on a vehicle, that you think you have been approved on, and when they bank finds out that the dealership had lied to them they will no longer finance you and you have to return the car. They must not be doing very good at their job if they can’t give back $375! Pretty sad when a dealership is so hard up for money that they treat people this way! Total crooks!

After being reassured that they would have someone that could help us with the financing. My husband and my daughter with my newborn grandson made the trip from Celina. We sat for about 2 hours waiting for any news from the finance company. The trip was a waste of our time not to mention that my husband is a senior and disabled and is not used to being out for that long. I repeatedly told The woman on the phone that our credit was not that great and I was repeatedly assured that we would get the financing. Not only did we not get what was told to me but we are out 100.00 for making that trip. We were told by the salesman that We didnt have enough income. It really makes me angry that I feel that I was lied to. Dont get peoples hopes up and waste their time by playing games to get them through the door.

Bought a used vehicle in 2018 from them. After 2 weeks of having it, we had to take it back to get looked at. After inspection they said it was out of alignment and that they had corrected it. It was fine for a little while, before we noticed that it was acting up again. This time we took dodge dealership, where they informed us that the vehicle we purchased had been wrecked and that the warranty was void. Whats funny is we did not wreck it, it was sold to us that way and we were not informed that it had been in an accident and that whatever happened to the vehicle it would never be in perfect alignment and that we should take it back to Taylor Kia for them to fix.So, we took it back to Taylor Kia, where we paid out of pocket to replace all the tires because once again the vehicle was out of alignment and the front left tire was going bald. Again, they said they had fixed the problem and we would be good to go. Fast forward, we just took it back this past week, as it was out of alignment again. The service manager in Findlay, told us that there is no more that they could do and apologize that they sold us vehicle like this. He stated along with the sales manager that we needed to contact Lima and that they would make things right. That they would pay off the vehicle and get us into something new.So we wasted our Saturday morning, because they were going to pay off up to the KBB and then try to roll the negative equity over onto a new loan. NO WAY! We still have the text messages stating that they would pay it off in full.I would never recommend these scam artists to anyone. You write a book about your success in the business, did you put in there about how you rip off people and put them in unsafe vehicles for your benefit?

Bought a used vehicle from there in Oct of 2020 have only driven it three months. Only had 54k miles on it. since then and its been in shop rest of time. Alot of engine, electrical and now have to have transmission replaced along with full suspension and brakes. Not good business. Didnt even offer an extended warranty. Have spent way too much money on this already and only been 6 months. Wont buy again. Have a certified dealer or mechanic drive it and look over it if you buy a used vehicle from them. 🤬😡😠🤬😠😡

Just purchased our second car here. When we put half our down payment on the car, we were to pay the other half that Friday and pick up the second key. Long story short, took 4 weeks to get key. Had a recall on inside door handles on my kia soul. First time in, missing one handle. Second time in, missing a part, third time in, appointment was at 10:45, said it would take an hour. Came back at 12, not done, not even started work on it. Talked to manager, said tech was at lunch and will do it when he gets back. Said I could bring it back, a fourth time, or wait for tech to get back from lunch, then he will start on it....

I was scheduled in to look at getting rid of my car on a trade-in. I walked in, stood there for 15 minutes while five salesmen looked at me before I even got acknowledged. Then they told me to come back in a couple days. Drove an hour all the way up there for nothing. I ended up buying a car elsewhere, I was told they were basically the laughing stock of Lima Ohio dealerships.

Terrible service, do not recommend Taylor Kia of Lima. My husband & I purchased a vehicle from them over a month ago. There were damages to the vehicle prior to purchasing and it was written in the sales contract that it would be fixed at no extra cost to us. Their repair man was not currently working at the time of the purchase so we were able to take the vehicle home and once he returned back to work they would give us a call to schedule for repair. We have not heard a single thing after calling multiple times. Recently called and had to leave a voicemail for the sales manager, and still have not received a call back. I absolutely do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Taylor of Kia in Lima. You are not a customer to them after they’ve already gotten money from you.

Wonderful experience! I went with my mother and my son to look at vehicles. I’ve shopped locally before and felt taken advantage of because I am a woman. At Taylor Kia of Lima, I didn’t feel this way at all. The staff treated each of us with respect and kindness. SERVICE CENTER IS TOP NOTCH! I had a terrible experience at a different Kia dealership. Called this location to see if they could help me and Im so glad I did! The service tech, Mark, listened and understood my frustration. He took extra time to thoroughly check everything and to fix the issue i was having. He called me to give me updates, while we waited on the part to arrive. Even though this dealership and service center is much further then the other one i had used, I will go back for all my future needs. He even provided me with his cell number just in case I had anymore issues. I cant even fully describe the breathe of fresh air and my renewed faith in Kia, that this service dept provided.
