First time iv been in. I went in because Chick-fil-A was backed up so I figured Id give them a shot. Ill tell you Im happy I did. Now Im not going to say this is the best BBQ iv had. I will say its up there though. Its WAY better than famous Daves. The atmosphere is great, the staff is nice and makes sure you feel acknowledged when you come in. I got spic y brisket sandwich waffle fries a small sweet tea and mac and cheese. I totally got my moneys worth everything was really good I added on two ribs for two bucks I definite must if youre getting a platter. Do yourself a favor go in here and get some food its great.
We had Dickey’s BBQ cater our wedding last weekend. The food was delicious, and our guests complimented us on the choices. Not to mention the owner and the others there were absolutely the sweetest and most attentive. There was a mix up with our order, we had the wrong meat and less sides than we had asked for.... but they very quickly made it right! They brought extra of the right food, plus some that we enjoyed all the same. I would say it was handled in the best way possible, and I would use the service again. Also, that potato casserole and the Mac n Cheese were so yummy!
Tried this place first time today. I will be back. Great service. Friendly staff. Priced reasonable. Had pulled pork. Bbq beans and potato salad with cornbread. Delicious. This will definitely be my go to BBQ restaurant
Came in later in the day and while some options were sold out by then, RJ & crew had great suggestions and I ended up with a tasty spicy turkey sandwich, piping hot beans, and solid mac. Staff were very attentive and friendly, atmosphere was relaxed and positive, and the hot and homey fare was a perfect pick me up on a rainy day. 10/10, will be back to try other options soon!
Absolutely delicious!!! They served good size portions. Lots of side dishes to choose from. Meat had a nice smoke ring. Super friendly staff. We will definitely be back.
Tried this place for the first time recently. Best bbq ive had around here. The pulled pork sandwich was perfect. Ill definitely be back.
This place is absolutely disgusting, the food is 90% grease and 10% slop. Theyre constantly out of food, the dining area is usually a mess, and the employees dont follow health code regulations.
Absolutely phenomenal barbecue. Juicy brisket, tender pork! I highly recommend the Pit Dip sandwich!!
The food was good. For the price you pay the portions are pretty small. Had an Uber Eats delivery and an item was not included. That really sucked!!!!
I did not expect that at all.I ordered the Pork Out Platter. Basically four meats, 2 sides and a choice of bread. The thing I did not expect was the portion sizes. I was very surprised to when I opened the box and there was more than plenty of each of the meats! The pork ribs were fall of the bone amazing with perfect seasoning. The pork burnt ends were like candy! Sweet, yet savory and tender. Thr pulled pork was by far my favorite of those three meats. But my lord! The jalapeño cheddar sausage was beyond amazing! To top everything off, the corn bread muffin was warm and soft and sweet and moist and I could go on but lets just say I want more of these with my barbecue! The manager, prep cook and the person assembling my meal, were all friendly and happy. I really appreciate their conversation and attentiveness to my questions about recommendations for sides. In which case the macaroni and cheese and Cole slaw were a perfect complement to my meal!Overall, go to Dickys. Get a 2 or 3 meat combo (trust me, the 4 meat option was too much even for a hungry guy) and say hi to Anika, shes the best!
Friend wanted jersey mikes. Im a sucker for BBQ and saw this place next door. Tried their pulled pork sandwich, mac and cheese and pecan pie all for under $10. All of it was delicious!!! Will definitely be going back. Friendly service and nice atmosphere.
Great bbq and friendly staff. I like the Dr.Pepper bbq sauce and sweet tea.
My husband and I tried dickeys BBQ for the first time and loved it. We were greeted right away and they were very helpful when we had questions. The food had great flavor. Even the owner checked on us to see how we liked our food. We will definitely be back.
Dont go here, you will order food they wont give you. And there food is subpar at best.
Just tried them again today. The order was awesome. And it was very well put together and packaged. They did forget one sauce, but they still earn 5 stars for sure.
Great food. Great staff.
I had gone in on the very first opening day & was disappointed with the quality of the food. 2 months after their opening, I decided to try them out again since it’s close to my work & I figured they probably trained the staff better since my initial visit. Regret choosing to do that. Went in and tried to order 3 different sandwiches but was told they were out of Cole Slaw, Caramelized Onion, some BBQ Sauce so those were out of the question. I settled for a meat and bread sandwich in which they only had sausage pork to choose from. I was fine with it, no worries. What I was excited about, was the chili. It was new, and I haven’t had chili in a while. I told the cashier I wanted to add a Chili Baker to my order and they gave me an entire Baked Potato in its place. For a sandwich and that potato which I didn’t want I paid $19. I didn’t ask questions since I had no idea they gave me a potato, I was so disappointed when I got to finally dig in and saw a huge potato full of uncooked onions instead of the chili. It was also full of uncooked onions and was not good. Probably the last time I will go to Dickeys.Plus, the workers are not helpful with helping you order what you want. They don’t ask you if you want a combo and don’t help with letting you know what’s available. Menu’s too big & confusing
I have always loved Dickies, especially the one in Everett, so I was so excited to see a new location open in Marysville. I’ve been there twice, and I just gotta say that someone is smoking the meats way to long. All my meats, too include ribs, brisket. Turkey, and burnt ends, were dry. I’m used to consistent delicious food, which is what I get at the Everett location. I sure hope this location figured out what they are missing, and get on track.
RJ and the team served me today and I must say that I truly do enjoy their sandwiches and their crispy onion rings. I ordered online and my food was fresh and ready when I got there. I asked what they recommended and ended up with the burnt ends and they did not disappoint. Looking forward to trying the brisket mac and cheese next time.
Was there today with family, had an amazing Brisket and cheese sandwich... Fried okra is to die for,..We will be back food was awesome,
Its ok, on the expensive side. Honestly think Famous Daves is a better value.
First time for me at this location and I was not disappointed. Exactly what I have come to expect, no matter the location, absolutely delicious!! Cant wait for full capacity seating so the lemonade and soft serve will be available!
Hands down the worst bbq I’ve ever had. Staff was very nice but the taste of everything was unbearable to even give 2 stars. How, this a franchise, is beyond me lol
This is the best Dickeys BBQ Ive been to!! Excellent food and excellent service!!
I’ve gone to this location twice and both times I’ve gotten the absolute best service I’ve ever received from anywhere. Both times I’ve been shocked about how hospitable the workers have been. It puts all other restaurants to shame. Not to mention the food is delicious. Shout out to RJ!
The staff was SO welcoming and kind. Great customer service and the food was hot, fresh and super yummy!
It was good, friendly staff . The burnt ends where to salty tho. And pulled pork was dab dry. The ribs where great! The amount of food was worth it. Just wish it wasn’t super salty. Will try again sometime.
I love good barbecue, but this isnt it. The brisket was dry and tough. The pulled pork was even tender enough to be pulled. It was actually cut, and there was so much gristle that it was, for the most part, inedible. The fall off the bone ribs didnt come anywhere near their description. The green beans were so overcooked, that they were devoid of any flavor. The barbecue beans were okay, as was the macaroni & cheese. However, neither of them were worth writing home about. There were other items that we ordered, and none of them were any better. If it was just one item I might consider another try, but nothing we ordered, was good enough to warrant a return to this restaurant.
Cant go wrong with the BBQ..Cal Cert Co the Industry Leaders in Calibration Services.
We order lunch here for the office often. The food is always very fresh and we have yet to try anything that disappoints. If you havent eaten here yet you should. Plus the staff is always so friendly and pleasant.
Awful service, if you can call it that. Went in and saw a staff member eating her lunch in the dining room which isn’t allowed. Personally I couldn’t care less about that one event but after staring at the menu for 5 minutes without being greeted by anyone I started to get a bad feeling. We walked to the “wrong” end of the counter despite there being no signs to direct you and the cashier very rudely told us to go to the other end. Now at the correct end we waited an additional 5 minutes without either of the other two staff members acknowledging us. Aforementioned rude cashier was busy staring blankly at the front door while the other two were working on someone else’s order I assume. After about 15 total minutes inside the building we turned around and left, drove 5 minutes down the road to Jeff’s Texas BBQ and were greeted immediately and served promptly. 10/10 do not go to this place. Go to Jeff’s and get real service with incredible food.
I ordered the 2 meat plate through Uber Eats. I received not even 1 slice of brisket and the 2 ribs had not meat. I paid $18 for beans and coleslaw. I am positive the beans are from a can, and the coleslaw is not even worth mentioning. Ill be sticking with Jeffs from now on for sure. This place sucks.
The staff is super friendly, its a lot of food for the price!
First time here, the beef brisket sandwich was very good, the ribs were blackened and tasted very salty, mentioned to employee she said they use same recipe daily. Wont get those again. Sides were good, potato salad, crispy onions and creamed spinach. Willing to give them another try.
Food was good owner was friendly but service was slow.
I rarely leave reviews but after eating dinner from this location tonight, it was so bad that I had to write my experience! I never been to this location in person but I been ordering via ubereats a few times. The first 2 times, they ran out of ribs, the 3rd, maybe 4th time the ribs were decent, in shape and tasty and normal. TONIGHT, I dont know what was going on but my ribs were complete trash! Meat was very hard, it hurts my teeth and gums and there was barely any meat on the bones like they meant to send this delivery to a dog! If thats theres last scrapes, I would of rather have them to tell me they ran out of ribs again.. It was sooo bad, ill be ordering from Everett location from now on, even if I have to pay a bit more on delivery fee, it will at least be worth it.
The food was great. Amazing. Delicious. However, gotta knock ya down 2 stars. 1 for each of the sides you forgot to give me.
For $17 bucks I could have got a good Mexican dinner or gone to Daves Texas BBQ. Highly disappointed for a new store. Servicing sizes small, brisket on the sandwich was dry. Cold cheddar cheese, uncooked onion on a cold brisket sandwhich. Really disappointing. Wont be returning. Ive eaten at the Kent location and the food was great. The food can only be as good as the person cooking it and if changes arent made, I dont this staying open for long.
Meats were cold after I fought to get 5 pieces of ice for my soda. The employee came out afterwards to use the cover to shove into the ice machine to break it up -- still no ice came out. The meat was not only cold, but also very dry. They have free super, super soft and runny soft serve vanilla for free after your meal -- I suggest putting it into your cup with your soda and make a float. Side salad was more dressing, cheese and croutons than lettuce, brisket beans were the best part of the meal.Edit: Dont be fooled by the comment below. I contacted them right away and I have yet to hear back from them.
Food was 3 star but the service was zero. Ordered online for curbside pick up. They said they were out of beans but it would be 5 minutes. Thirty minutes later they brought out half our order. Once we got home no sauce and everthing was cold-except the beans ( which were not the usual, these were like Bushs). Hoping they get better.
Superb craftsmanship your taste buds will rejoice over and fabulous service with lotsa smiles!
Everett location is much better. Have yet to have a good experience at this one.
Omg delicious !
Ordered delivery from them today and I will not be doing that again. I have gone to their Everett location before and thought it was pretty good. Good enough that I was excited when I saw that it was now in Marysville. I ordered:2 Texas Hot Brisket Sandwiches - 1 sliced and 1 chopped2 Caesar Salads1 Mac n Cheese1 Brisket Chili MacThe brisket on the sliced texas hot brisket sandwich was dry and tough. The other sandwich with the chopped brisket was dry and extremely greasy. Neither had jalapenos as advertised. The caesar salads were a complete rip off. Neither came with dressing or anything. It was pathetic, brown, old lettuce in a cup. Thats it. One of the lettuce cups wasnt even completely full. It had maybe 8 pieces of lettuce in it.The Mac n Cheese was a congealed, bland, orange blob of paste. It had zero flavor. The Brisket Chili Mac had zero mac... Literally not a single noodle in it. Im assuming I received Brisket Chili but not really sure. Despite it being not what I ordered it was the most decent thing of the entire order and Id still only give it a 3 out of 10.Im completely disappointed that I spent $30 on this. I definitely will not be trying them again.
I was so excited to find Dickeys this far north, but was quickly disappointed. The quality of the food was sorely lacking. The sliced brisket was in chunks and so dry that no amount of sauce could rescue it, and the shredded pork was hard and crunchy. But what really disappointed me was that the front counter staff was not wearing a mask as currently mandated in Washington State.
Has tough competition around here with some very good bbq places but I’d say with its fast food approach it blows any fast food around here out of the water.
Damn good flavor, the pulled pork last night was dry, but the flavor was delicious. Just got a fresh batch today that was moist and tender.
Very bland BBQ and not good quality at all. This place will not last just like the locations in Ferndale and Lynden. which shut down years ago. Go to Double Barrel BBQ in Sedro Wooley...actual real bbq. Stick a fork in this place..they are done.
First time trying this restaurant and sad to say I am very disappointed. The beef brisket was extremely hard, tough and hard to chew. For 5 small tiny slices for $10.50 not worth it. If the meat were soft fall off the bone then I say its worth it. But this place I do not recommend unless you want meats that are hard to chew.
Rude owner, desperate staff, toxic work environment. Any one who is working there just for stability- email me. I’ll hire you :)
They where only taking cards so ya thats very un American and the bbq beans where like soup no flavor at all and the burt end pork had no burt taste to it at all also the sauce was like it was out of a ketchup packet the staff was friendly but very very in experienced I will probably never return.
I ordered off their website and I get there and my food isn’t ready. They said 5 minutes it took about 15. Then they didn’t have what I ordered and they forgot my roll and both bbq sauces. I would say don’t go. Turkey was salty and the brisket tasted like over cooked roast beef.
Was a good bbq until they gave me burnt ribs! Then tried to tell thats normal lol B.S.
No online ordering? Every single other location does. GET PROFESSIONAL!
My daughter decided to treat myself and her to this place and ordered us lunch via Ubereats, the food arrived on time only the food was not that great, the sandwiches were lukewarm and the meat was not tender along with one of the sandwiches being wrong, I offered to take the order back to the place but my daughter replied no she just would not eat there again and would not recommend it to anyone either, same here.
There at 7:00 p.m. and they were closed. Sign and website said they are open till 9:00 p.m.
Very disappointed with the Marysville wa restaurant. Pulled pork was sliced, dry and cold. Brisket was flavorless and cold. Portions were SMALL.We have ordered from Dickies BBQ in Tri-cities Washington and were very happy with our order. We will not order from Marysville store again.
Dont waste your time! The worst food and service around. They only respond to reviews to appear like they care. Email went ignored.
PURE GARBAGE! I made the mistake and ignored the reviews. It was as bad as others have said, worse if that is at all possible. Do not be fooled!
This is the 2nd time we have ordered. The first time we gave you a shot and a break because although we had to rewarm the food and our sides were not correct, it was good tasting. This time tonight, we ordered a Westerner with all pulled pork and chose regular barbecue sauce. When it arrived, the sandwich was dry, cold, covered in onions and zero sauce, not on the side or on the sandwich. We also ordered a brisket dip. Its suppose to come with aujus SAUCE to dip it in, it did NOT. The meat is dry and/or mostly fat, there are onions on the sandwich and as we speak, my other half is dousing it in the barbecue sauce from our own refrigerator so he can eat his dinner.Lastly, the meats for the 2 meat plate and chicken breast are cold. We had to reheat them. The time it took to have doordash deliver it was only a few minutes, so this is not their issue. You need to read your reviews on Google and on Facebook and pay attention to what people are saying. Retrain people. Make sure your temps are up before you get someone sick, especially with the poultry. Customers are paying a pretty hefty price to order from you in the first place and based on all of the bad reviews on many platforms, you either do not care or are hoping people will just forget and keep trying again. We did that last time, even offering a good post about you anyway since youre new in the area. Not this time, this is ridiculous. Please fix your quality and your accuracy or quit offering delivery. Customers should be able to count on getting correct orders and quality food for the price.I speak from the perspective of a customer, but also a former restaurant manager and server.
I wanted to test this place out, regardless of the reviews and it was yummy!. I got the 2 for $24 and had sliced brisket, polish sausage, chicken breast and pulled pork with baked potato casserole, asiago cheese creamed spinach, bbq beans, and mac and cheese!Overall, it was tasty and satisfying. My favorite was actually the chicken breast! I was surprised at both the flavor and tenderness of the chicken. The pulled pork was really good too, especially with some carolina bbq sauce!. The polish sausage had good flavor and texture as well..the sliced brisket itself also had good flavor, and a nice smoke ring..the main part of the brisket was slightly dry and the fat wasnt fully tender, so it seems some heat management might need to be looked into as others have said this. Lower heat about 30 degrees or so and cook just a bit longer will probably get you the results youre looking for..For the sides, my favorite was the baked potato casserole! Lots of flavor, very good to me! The bbq beans were really good too! Mac and cheese had good amount of sauce, quite tasty..the creamed spinach was also really good, and it was my preferred side with the roll!I only tried the carolina bbq sauce and the spicy bbq, but they were both great compliments to the meats! Thank you for the food 😃
Friendly disarray service,Took three attempts to get full order,Ribs where dry, chili with beans had no beans, brisket was pulled pork, no bbq flavor at all or any sauce to add.Muffin was good, macaroni and cheese ok, potato salad ok, and free soft serve ice-cream ok. We are not fussy eaters but I feel this location wasn’t ready to open and needs to train the great workers they have.
Amazing food and an amazing owner who works hard and it reflects in the product you eat. Dont sleep on this place and give it a try
Super dry and completely forgot half my order.
This food was cold by the time I got it and it wasnt very good I found it kinda weird that the employees eat where the costumers eat that isnt allowed anywhere
Always tasty!
It was ok 😃
Did you try the food before or after you bought into the franchise? 🤮
It was some dry a** bbq and a nimrod crew
Great food, many choices, good service and open for dining-in.
