We ordered a new remote control for our fireplace on February second, 2021. We were told that it would take about a week to ten days to get. When I called back and left a message, no one called me back. We went to the showroom on Lake Murray Blvd and told the man at that location. He made a quick call to the showroom in Batesburg and then told me that it was sitting on someones desk. He said that they were waiting for someone to drive it over to Lexington. I asked him why they couldnt mail it. It is now the twenty - seventh and we still havent received the remote, which cost us over $186!!!

This is, by far, the worst experience Ive ever had when dealing with a company. It only took two months from the time the estimate was given until the logs were to be installed, only to find the wrong logs were ordered. A week later when the logs came in and were being installed, the installer finds the wrong size burner was ordered. We finally get everything installed and what do I receive for all the trouble we went through? An apology from the salesman, not a manager, the salesman. I ask about being compensated, I was told I would get from them later today, no phone call. This was before Christmas and still in mid-January, no phone call. This is par for the course for palmetto propane. Time and time again I would be told we will call you later today and I would end up having to call back. So then I get a bill for 227 dollars because some things were left off the estimate. This we settled because Im sick of dealing with this company. I guess that was my compensation Id heard so much about. So do yourself a favor, go anywhere but Palmetto Propane, what they say and what they do are two different things.Edited: To the owner, it has been over two weeks since I posted this review and no member of your management team has been in touch. Thank you for the apology, I do appreciate it.

Ive been going to Palmetto Propane for the last 2 years to get my propane tanks filled. Each time I visit the location in Lexington, SC Im greeted with a smile. Theres never a wait and the gentleman at the filling station always gets the tanks out of my vehicle, fills them and puts them back for me. The lady inside is always pleasant as I pay for my propane. Its much more economical to refill my tanks than trade them out at a convenience store or grocery store. I highly recommend Palmetto Propane to anyone in this area.

Came with 3/4 full tank of propane. Wanted to get it topped off for the hurricane. Filled or exchanged dozens of places and this one happened to be on the way home. Told the guy filling it it was 3/4 full and he went ahead and filled it. Where do I pay I asked? Inside. Should I have a form showing how much propane went into my tank? He said, we just charge a flat rate of 15.00 to fill. We’ll now ya tell me after I clearly told him I wanted it just topped off. I have ALWAYS paid per gallon everywhere I’ve ever been. If I had walked out without paying that would be stealing right? Well, that’s what they did to me. I will never set foot in Palmetto Propane Fuels & ice for the simple reason of fraud, stealing from the customer, and dishonesty. UPDATE...manager refunded my money and gave me a free tank refill. I’ll raise it to a 2 star review but, no excuse for the method of charging unless clearly posted.

Originally, I gave them a 1 Star because I just couldnt seem to get a balance with this company. But, the manager reviewed my account and saw that my tank was too big and worked out a suitable payment plan for me. Good save guys!

Todd @ this North Lake Drive location could not have been more courteous or helpful; in addition to his knowledge of the product(s), we had a problem with our original selection not fitting our space - a pipe in the way problem - and he handled the change with the utmost care and timeliness. Highly recommend!!

Be Careful - 75 dollar annual service charge if you do not meet minimum 100 gallons per year. They will not dispatch someone out to your house until you are at 10%. Your responsibility to watch your own gas level and billing cycle. Will work to take your money.

Started shopping for a ventless propane cast iron stove about 2 weeks ago. Called Palmetto Propane first since I live in the Leesville area and this was the closest company to my house. After visiting the showroom and picking out the unit I wanted, the store representative told me someone would call me to come out and measure the line that I would need. I waited 24 hours and no one ever called me. I called and let them know and about 3 hours later someone called me back. The earliest he could come out was 1 week later. They also have to order the stove once they take the measurements. In the mean time, I keep looking and shopping around. I find another propane company that is local, they have it in stock and they can come out and deliver, set up and do everything within 4 days! I did give Palmetto Propane another chance by calling them and visiting the location in Lexington on hwy. 6 and I was not impressed at all with the customer service at this location either. The gentleman never came out from behind the counter, he had to call HQ to find out a question I had and he said he would call me back. He never did. Poor customer service again. 3 strikes and you lost this customer!

I have been with PP&I for 25+ years. We have had ups and downs. But, I coached both of the owners. They have always have taken care of what my problems. I like supporting people I know and can talk to anytime.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a fair propane price.

142pm this afternoon, all the lights on, car parked there and a closed sign on the door, 3 people came and left and no one answered the door or their phone!

Can I put 0 stars!!! I have run out of propane before. Now I watch my levels and call when at 30%. Still 6 weeks and another call later....down to 15% and no delivery!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!! Im switching companies!!
