We were traveling through here for a mini vacation and decided to stop! We didnt get anything to drink, as we came for the Pokemon items.I believe his name is John? We cant remember right off, but he was SO friendly! He was very knowledgeable, and definitely not a jerk like some of there other card shop employees!He definitely helped us find what we were looking for, showed us the Pokemon books they have, let us know about some upcoming products, he even got us set up with an account!We 100% recommend this place! We will definitely stop here when we come back through again too! We are extremely happy with our items we got, the prices, the service, and everything in between!

I dont know what word we live in where even the card shops are charging the $400 eBay prices for Ultra Premium Collection. First I waited hours outside GameStop just for the employees to had hid them in the back, then checked local shops such as this & FireFly just to find price gouging.I wouldnt recommend anyone shopping here unless you want to basically get scammed. They regularly restock Celebrations sets at Best Buy so if anyone is after them please just keep trying fairly priced stores instead of supporting shops that do not care about the community & only their bottom dollar.I also want to add back when I was a kid it was really easy to just go into a shop & get some Pokemon cards, but todays kids are being robbed of that enjoyment by shops such as this. So it does not just affect me as an adult who may still want to collect them, but current kids childhoods as well whos parents arent going to drop 4x retail price for some Pokemon cards.

Cool little hangout spot!! The barista is able to guide inexperienced visitors to excellent coffees based on individual tastes. The desk staff is knowledgeable about many different things and attempt to guide you to wise choices rather than just trying to sell things. I love the honesty.

Chase is fantastic when it comes to helping with cards, deck boxes, info for some games.The shop is very mellow, just a good place to chill and hangout with other nerds.My husband and a good friend love the coffee. (I dont drink coffee, but my husband is super picky with it so high praise.)My best friend goes there all the time and likes the Italian sodas. I wasnt a fan personally.Its got a great atmosphere and it is super newbie friendly.

Just started playing Magic. Went here for the first time today with my buddy who has been into Magic for several years. Had a great experience and the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Really cool place with a lot of diversity to choose from. The only complaint I have is there are no set prices on anything and I hate being a bother asking them to look up every single card they own bc im just curious what the prices are.

Love this place. The staff is friendly and helpful. I started playing yugioh a year ago and they are always willing to help me understand the game. The have local tournaments almost daily and the players are super patient with me. They want to grow the game. They also have bird games, D&D, Magic the gathering, Pokémon, and I believe digimon. The coffee is good too!

I went to pick an item that I ordered and I checked the place out. It is a gaming place. They do the fantasy card games, board games and they have a espresso machine to keep you going. If you are into that kinda thing I suggest checking it out, Im sure you will have a good time.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and the whole place was very clean. Its a tad difficult to park but thats the only complaint. They have a very wide selection of board and card games you can play.

This speaks only of the price they offered me on a Yugioh collection. After having the collection for over a week, I had to call them and ask if it was finished. They then offered me a price of $750. I knew it was worth more than that, simply because I create excel spreadsheets everyday and created my own database with each cell hyperlinked to its respective TCGPlayer page, I took the collection to SuperGames in Milton GA. After 2 1/2 hours, they wrote me a check for $2,020. Speaks volumes, doesn’t it?2 weeks after this post was made, the owner of the store made a passive aggressive remark on a facebook post of mine. Hes clearly mad that I called his store out for offering me a garbage price for my collection. He just brought his business into other peoples personal world. This store owner is a terrible person and has offered no apology. Shame on him.

I like this place for the cards and gaming. They have a decent selection to choose from.

If youre a woman, dont bother going to this place. The workers are condescending, harass you every 5 minutes, and there is zero help when you ask about specific cards. No girls work here, it smells like burnt popcorn, and the past 3 times Ive been here they have tried to tell me to buy easier games for beginners despite me telling them I have been playing since I was a 10.

We go there for the yu-gi-oh selection which is great! They recommend you reach out to them before you arrive if you have a long list of cards you want which is an awesome service. By far the best card store in the columbia area.

I have sent buylists to them, and have not gotten. My payments yet it is over frustrating when the online person who emails back comes off as rude., I initially thought otherwise of the online service from them, til Im still waiting for payment marked sent on 2/5. And because their system sent me invalid info on a preorder that hasnt arrived yet email said it was in stock so I inquire and get frustration from the other side, I cant give any input on their physical location, as the owner has mentioned, Ive used the mail on sell and buy, never went to their physical location as I am located quite a distance away. I still would say the biggest disappointment for myself would be the limited inventory on the website, but I do by far like their buylist feature and that it is up to date more than competition. Overall I will note this misunderstanding should be blamed on covid, it has us all out of ourselves. I up the rating to 4 stars, when I do receive my payments Ill come and update it to 5, Since I have now idea of their physical Inventory, maybe website is less used but thanks anyway guys

I love this place here. This is my local card shop for anything yugioh you need wide variety of cards and packs to choose from. And also if you have any cards just laying around that you dont want anymore take then there they will buy them from you.

Not sure how a 1 star got here but i had not rated this place or left a comment nothing until now.... I have not had any problems with side deck... They are a little high priced to me... But that is because i am on disability and cant afford to pay for high priced thimgs... They have always been good to me and my autistic grandson... Its been plesurable to say the least... The last time i was there they went above and beyond to make my grandson feel welcomed and smart... Hes autistic and has a hard time with some things and everyone was patient and was smiling and helping him... It was like they all wanted to help him get it right....

I stopped by on Christmas Eve. While walking back to my car, after seeing theyd closed 30 minutes prior, the owner opens the door and brings me in to let me get my last second Christmas gift for my daughter, without thinking twice. The owners are awesome people, and the shop is amazing! Recommend a thousand times, and will always shop here!

My husband and I had a good time, the coffee was great!!! I wish you had more original card and board games...such as uno and phase 10 and Monopoly and the Harry Potter board game and operations and the game of Life and trivial pursuit and chess and checkers and Scrabble.....I think if you offered more game options like those that more people would come because you would be more of a board game cafe with a wider range of games for people. You could have a classic cars game night with rummy and go fish and stuff and you could have a board game night.

Was visiting family for the holidays decided to stop in. Store was really cool had a really good selection of cards and products! The staff was super nice and helpful. The cafe in the store was something I have never experienced in any of the game stores I’ve been to in the last 6 years. Great atmosphere, friendly people. They were cool with me sitting on one of their (very comfortable) couches to work on a personal gaming project for a few hours. Also...hot chocolate at the cafe!!

Placed a small order with the Side Deck through TCG Player (less than $10). Even though it wasnt a huge order they processed it extremely fast, and shipped it with care, double sleeved. (They even chose a guild-appropriate inner sleeve. Love that attention to detail.) Will be using these guys again in the future for sure!

This gaming café has exquisite coffee drinks that can be enjoyed along side any table top game. The community for all the different card games are great. Many players who come by help each other out with cards, strategies, and learning new things. The staff are very quick with responding to calls and emails, as well they offer great advice for many of the games they sell and promote.

One of the best gaming hangouts out there for any sort of nerdy needs. As a regular myself I highly recommend it! All the employees are kind and the owner is very nice and fun to talk to! Whether it be just to hang out and eat to going to events and competing against other people, this is my highest recommendation to go to!

It does a little bit of everything--card games, board games, coffee bar, and event space--but it does all of those things well. The staff is friendly and attentive, and their reward system is generous. Well worth the drive!

I went to a Super Smash Bros tournament that they hold every Wednesday. It had a pretty good turnout and they stream the event on twitch. Its organized pretty well and the staff are good about solving any issues that arise. They have a coffee bar and snacks that you can buy which is cool and boardgames that you can rent out. The selection isnt as good as Firefly for purchasing boardgames and its a bit smaller, but its still pretty decent. They have tables and chairs for anyone looking to play there. You can also buy trading cards as well and they sell individual holographics. Id also like to mention that the guy at the register was extremely nice and made an attempt to talk to customers rather than just droning the register to get people through so props to you, dude.

Just been there once as they just opened today, but the owner seem very engaged in making this a family friendly location for gaming and food. Looking forward to visiting here regularly, especially once the kitchen opens. Owner seems very willing to adjust inventory to match what the customers are interested in and ensure this is a safe space for anyone to gather.

I travelled over an hour and a half to attend an X-wing tournament here. They made me feel very unwelcome by asking me to drop out of the event and leave before it was over. Apparently they had double booked events that evening and the other one was about to start. I guess they needed the space I was taking up more than they needed any good will from me.

Simple local business. The owner has been fantastic and very fun to be around. A nice place to hang out and kill some time playing games.

A local family owed business. Very friendly and a great place to go. They offer game demos and they have coffee too if you want to have any. Took my daughter here to look around and soon found out they have Yu-Gi-Oh matches (or duels...Im dont play) here almost every day. The other neat thing is they didnt make me feel dumb as a non player. Very welcoming place

I may be a little biased, but I believe this store is up-and-coming greatness in the Lexington, SC area. As the owner, I strive to keep customer satisfaction at the very top of my list of goals.As I told everyone in the beginning, running a store such as this is not my day job, it doesnt put food on the table, its to serve the community. We in Lexington had a gap in coverage in this area of our lives, and I aim to fill it.
