My whole buying experience at Jim Hudson Ford in Lexington, SC when I bought my new Bronco Sport was easy from start to finish! My salesman, Craig Ellis was so wonderful and guided me through the process. He held my hand the whole way. The finance manager Jeff, was awesome too! The product is awesome! I love my Bronco! I bought the maintenance package so Im sure I will be seeing the service department soon! :)

Bought my first ever car from here and the buying experience was fine, the people were all friendly and helpful. However, after taking the car home and going out that night to celebrate, the battery died. Called Jim Hudson the next day and was told to bring it back in and they would give us a new battery. Got to the dealership and they did not have a battery for us. Left the car there and the only updates were that the battery had died because the alternator was bad and haven’t heard anything promising since. And yes, we called to speak to the manager but was told he was not there at the time. Have not had my car for a little over a week.

Regarding their Service Dept. We have used them previously and I’d rate the service good with friendly staff. No issues. Probably a 4.The reason I downgrade them to a 2 is in order to get our air serviced, they first need to keep it 24-hours just to diagnose it. 24 hours? That just seems ridiculous and not customer focused. Who can be without their car just so they can look at it??? How many more days do they need to repair? So this is the second time we had to take our car all the way to Columbia to be both diagnosed and fixed. Unfortunately, I’m not going to rely on my local dealer to service our cars in the future. They lost my service business and any potential future sales. I’m going to a dealer that accommodates the customer.

The service department has been so good to us over the last few years. But today we took our truck up there to get an oil change and tires rotated. We had a 9:30am appointment. It usually takes about 2hrs to do all of it so one of our friends picked us up. FOUR HOURS LATER after not hearing from them we called to find out they havent even taken the truck back yet and that they were full. The guy was snappy and rude when we told him just to cancel it. He told us if we were crunched on time we should have told him. 4 hours? Why make appointments if you are booked that day?

Had some interest in a new Ford Bronco sport, so we called Jim Hudson Ford to check if any were available on site. We were told yes, so we headed up there. As we pulled into the lot, a salesman (John Cook) there was pulling a new Bronco Sport right up front for us to inspect and drive. He spent time with us without ANY of the usual pressure that you expect. He answered our questions. He gave my wife and I time to head to lunch and talk over what is a major financial decision for our family. When we called back after lunch, he met us outside and spent more time thinking through our options. At the end of the day, it was a joy for us to buy a new Bronco Sport from Jim Hudson. As I told Mr. Cook afterward, our purchase was more than just buying a car, it was a chance to meet someone new and hear their story and share our story as well. Lord willing, we will do more business with Jim Hudson Ford in the future.

I had a wonderful buying experience at Jim Hudson Ford. From the kind greeting at the front desk to the quick service from the floor manager who got me to a sales representative right away, I knew we were off to a good start. Jayson Moore took the time to share all of the features of the vehicle and was patient with me. I knew what I wanted, but he explained some of the features I wasnt familiar with which turned out to be the selling point that made the difference to me. They were up front and honest with what they could do on the price point and did not pressure me into anything, but simply worked with me. I did not buy it that day, but I followed back up with Jayson a few times and he either answered right away or was very quick to reply. I had a great deal on a difference vehicle in front of me, but Jim Hudsons service along with the quality of the vehicle is ultimately why I returned to buy from them. I would highly recommend buying from them and asking to speak to Jayson when you get there.

Was in a car accident and my Kia Soul was totalled, my daughter has basically been searching for a car for me, i wanted another Soul but knew i had to take what would fit in my budget. She found my Soul at this dealership online and they basically did all the work online. I saw it when we drove up, it had been.detailed, vacuumed, full tank of gas and an oil change. Signed the paperwork and drove it home. Happy they were able to put me back in a Soul. Very pleasant staff, very clean inside and out. This was a 2019 Soul. They have new and used cars. Disappointed with the service department and manager of the service department. Had the vehicle in for regular maintenance and did not want a tire rotation. Received the receipt the next day and observed a charge for tire rotation. Service clerk was cool about it and got it removed. When I got home I was able to tell the wheels weren’t even rotated so I called back asking about why would I have been charged for it in the beginning when the service wasn’t even done even after I caught it. I argued dishonesty of the service department, but according to the manager of the service department he stated that is wasn’t since I had discovered the charge and ir was removed. What happened if I had notfigured out I had a charge for tire rotation and actually paid for service I didn’t get. Always received good service here, but after this one I’ll have to take it somewhere else.

Rush customer through contract signing electronically and sneak in extras like expensive service contracts ($2,850.00) then slow walk the refund process when you bring the over-charge to their attention. Wont answer the phone, wont return calls when you leave a message. When you do get them, they promise to look into it and then dont bother to call back. Im 12 weeks out $2850.00. It is still not refunded. If Jeff Sladen processes your purchase contract, you should insist on a print out and go over every dime. These practices are dishonest. Shame on Jim Hudson Ford for cheating honest working people out of their money and playing dishonest shell games with their money when they get called on it.

Best car buying experience I have had in forever! I absolutely hate the hard sell from the finance guy. We did most of the work online prior to arrival. We walked out in less than an hour and I was never even asked if I wanted additional stuff I didnt need/want.And as for the 2020 Ranger its awesome. Had to go to Ohio right after we bought it and would not have made it back without the 4x4! Great experience!

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership. They kept it a couple days longer due to some issues they were fixing ahead of the purchase. Not long after I got it to my house, those exact things began to give me problems and I had a check engine light as well. They worked on the ac and supposedly fixed it but charged me for the other problems. I got my truck back and 1 day later the ac was broken again. They have been dodging my calls ever since. Im sure that is bc they knew they sold a bad truck and also that they hadnt actually fixed my vehicle. Do not purchase a vehicle from here. Do not service your vehicle here. Overall bad experience as well as a waste of my time and money.

I drive a aTundra and they treated me like I drove the most expensive Lexus there is! I love the video they send you of the technician showing what’s going on with your car and WHERE the problem is on your car in real time. The waiting area is top notch…free WiFi, comfortable desk seating if you need to work while you wait, food, drinks, tv, shoot, I almost stayed all day! They also do their best to get you in when scheduled! It’s worth the money to go here for any work I need done on my truck…you get what you pay for and they deliver MORE than great service for a phenomenal price! In past years I really liked this dealership, it’s gotten to the point now that none of the employees speak to you when you walk through, it used to be the guys would strike up conversation and talk while you were there waiting for service especially knowing you’ve purchased from them in the past. Now they all just walk around noses up and quiet talking amongst themselves if they talk at all. They don’t even bother to acknowledge you, neither on the lot or inside the showroom.

I contacted Jim Hudson Ford about an F150 that was on TrueCar.com. It had just been added and there weren’t even certainly accurate pictures or a 100% description of the truck yet, but what was there looked like exactly what I was looking for. I emailed them and was immediately contacted by Noelle. Her communication was excellent, until it wasn’t.Richard in sales contacted me a few days after I had been communicating with Noelle and said the truck had arrived, but they were trying to find it. I texted Noelle the next day to see if they were able to find it or not. No word. A couple of days later, she said Richard was going to call and asked when was a good time. I said any time. He called me moments later and said that some one had walked in and put a deposit on the truck. I had been in communication about that truck and waiting for 7 days for pictures and confirmation on if it was what they thought it was and they sold it from under me without even sending pictures until after telling me that somebody had put a deposit on it.At that point it seemed like a ploy to buy time to take care of a problem with the truck or a complete disregard for my time and my expressed interest in the vehicle. Either way, it was a huge disappointment. I’m sure all that mattered was selling the truck, but maybe you could not string people along and tell people things that aren’t true in the future. Or, maybe this is just common practice there, but I hope my let down hasn’t been experienced by too many others.

The sales department is awesome. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for the service department. I arrived an hour early for my 10:30 am oil change appointment. The service seemed to take longer than usual and when I inquired about the status of my car at 11:15am the service manager said no one has looked at your car and to make another appointment. Not only did they waste my time they failed to address my concerns via their website and deleted my comments on their Facebook page. It was like they just wanted to ignore me. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. If you go here don’t plan to do anything else but sit and wait, even if you have an appointment.

Chris Dawkins and the finance team did an outstanding job of expediting my transaction. I was especially pleased that Chris had the vehicle ready and waiting for my arrival. The finance manager found a great rate for me, and completed our business promptly and professionally. Chris then provided me a very detailed drive out presentation of the vehicle capability. All in all a very pleasant truck buying experience.

I needed a rear wiper arm and a passenger front seat inside door handle. The parts department was very courteous and helpful. They answered every question I had with patience and professionalism. When I ordered my parts, I got the parts guy on the right of the door. When I came back to pick up my parts, I got the parts guy on the left of the door. Both men where a credit to the company. I may not look forward to going back and having to buy more parts but I know to expect a pleasant experience when I get there. Pam.

We had an issue with my wife’s car overheating and brought it in a couple times and were told they couldn’t find a problem. After moving to Aiken it was happening again so we took it to the Ford dealer here who identified the code and we were told the vehicle wasn’t under warranty so it would be a $1200 repair. After speaking with Greg, he spoke to the local dealer about how the vehicle had been in last year with the same problem and not given a code. Greg worked with the local dealer to get the part replaced for no out of pocket expense to us.

Shane Sharpe was very helpful and nice to deal with. The service department completed everything on our car early. This dealership is the best. I will never buy another vehicle from anyone other than a Jim Hudson dealership. Their Toyota dealership is just as good!
