Great people...all your ammo needs, guns, rifles and a whole lot more...they have reloading equipment...say you want to go hunting or fishing they got you covered...looking for a holster, rifle case, a purse for you wife to carry her pistol they have that too...also all your gun cleaning supplies in one place...Thank you Mike, Mike and Ashly for all the hard work and dedication to the community
I have been visiting Lolo sporting goods for more than 40 years. As as an avid hunter and shooter I have enjoyed visiting the staff and chatting with other costumers. I have bought many guns there and have sold almost as many on consignment. Times are tough for all gun stores right now. The number of guns and reloading components are limited. But in spite of the shortages they have hung in there and kept the traditions alive.
This is one of two places I go to when I visit town. They are friendly and very helpful. Prices are always priced right. Thank you for your service to the valley..
Be careful using a credit card at Lolos. We tried to charge with AmEx. Clerk informed us that they do not allow AmEx, so charged ammo on Mastercard. Both cards were charged, so they got paid double for the merchandise. This is a scam that is surprising but lets me know that Lolos is not a place I want to do business.
Nice people especially the gal who works there. Good deals on guns. Been in the valley for years. Def recommend them. Best place to order a gun they dont have.
This is a great place in Lewiston. They have a wide selection of reloading supplies and powders, ask all the questions you want because they are very helpful. And YES you can even buy guns and ammo here as well.
My son and I had a great experience at Lolo sporting goods. He bought an Enfield 30.06 from a pawn shop and brought it into the shop to have someone look it over. I was impressed that Mike checked it out for him before my son finalize the purchase (from the other store). this showed me that he was willing to help a young Hunter purchase a decent gun. We then bought a used scope and Mike went the extra mile to make sure it was properly bore-sighted. Local gun shops can be hit or miss on customer service. We went into Lolos several times and Mike and Ashley answered every question with professionalism and Mike even pointed us in the right direction with some advice on local hunting areas since we are new to the area. You can’t go wrong shopping at this local sporting goods. Their prices on ammo were also comparable to the big box store up the road.
I wish I could do zero stars. Where do I start? I dropped of a firearm for some work on it. I was quoted 3 days. That was almost a month ago and when I call, I keep getting I will need to call the gunsmith, can I get your name and number and I will call you back. They do not call back very often so I call to check in. Today I did just that and I was treated horribly. Then the guy on the phone said well you seem like you are getting upset. I couldnt help but think well, yes, you have had my firearm for almost a month for a 3 day job. I explained that I was frustrated because I have had this happen again with another gunsmith so I am starting to feel this is par for the course. He took my name and number again so we will need to see if he calls me back. If you are going to quote someone a time frame, you should either make it accurate, or keep the customer in the loop of what is going on. I know they are not worried about me as I am just one customer, but I will be sure to tell those I know to find another place. I still do not have my firearm, so I might be shooting myself in the foot (no pun intended), but I also feel that others should know about this experience.Addition: so after I told them that I just wanted my gun back. It was miraculously finished within the hour. They called me and said it was finished and I could come pick it up. Hmmm thats curious. When I went to pick it up there was more problems. Lets just say I will never be back and I will be sure to spread the word.
They are set up in one of the historic buildings on main street. upon entering the first thing i noticed is the old wood floors which are admittedly warped in some spots but it added to the feel of the place. The employees where knowledgeable and courteous. They answered all the questions I had, and when I asked about certain pistols and pricing, they printed out the specs and let me know their pricing on them compared to list price(which they charge lower then list price). I would recommend that my friends shop here. Their inventory ranges from 22 cal pistols to high caliper hunting rifles (and all accessories and ammo for them).
Best service, best prices. Mike knows his stuff. Wont buy from anyone else.
Very cool store. Very helpful folks there. I found out that tree store has been there since the 1920s which is cool! Good selection of guns and ammo. I wish I lived in Lewiston now.
The manager, Mike, is a major jackass. I brought back a rifle that I bought from them that was broken, and he was very disrespectful and belittled me, treated me like an idiot, and tried to snake his way out it. I had to threaten involvement of the owner and a lawsuit until the matter was resolved. They honestly have a good selection of firearms, but the manager needs to be fired. With better firearm stores coming to the valley the manager can’t afford to be rude and disrespectful. The only thing that’s keeping this business alive is they have an on-site gunsmith.
Ive been to dozens of gun stores all over the northwest. Lolo is by far the best one Ive ever been to and everyone who works there is excellent!
The store manager, Mike, is a real piece of work. Lolo Sporting Goods sold me a rifle that arrived broken and even though it was insured the manager did everything possible to snake his way out of repairing it. I had to threaten to involve the ATF before the matter was resolved. This business has zero integrity.
Great gun shop with knowledgeable staff and long history
Walked in the front door and only one employee on duty in the back of the store helping about 4 other customers. After about 10 minutes at the front counter waiting for someone to help me, an older gentleman appeared from the back. Approached me without making any eye contact with me whatsoever. Finally it was ME who greeted him, rather than the reverse. He asked if Id been helped. I said no and proceeded to ask him about a particular .22 cal. shell. (I had purchased it from there before) WITHOUT EVEN CHECKING THE SHELF, he replied that he probably didnt have them. Then got defensive about not having them when I asked when he expected to get them in. (Apparently, the Federal Government is HOARDING .22 ammunition for some unknown reason and has been doing so for quite some time now.)I was VERY friendly. Its too bad he was not. Maybe he woke up on the wrong side of the bed? It was around 11;00 a.m. so that shouldnt have been the case. Maybe he was having a bad day? Really I dont care. I just wanted a friendly and helpful face and didnt get it in a small and dirty run-down store. It was also dark and the overall mood reminded me of a dungeon.Am I wrong in expecting a friendly face with a smile who is actually helpful and WANTS customers business? This is a very small, very dirty, and old store with very little in the way of selection and inventory, who has at least 3 other major sporting goods businesses in town - one of which could be construed as big box. I dont really think they can afford to be rude and uncaring to customers when there is so much other competition waiting to take away their business from this little store. The ONLY positive thing this store has going for it is an on-site gunsmith.Otherwise, I am soooooo unimpressed! Shop at your own risk...
Great selection of firearms and ammo, and an excellent place to spend money. I appreciate their knowledge and friendly service.
Alright selection. Mom and pop shop feel
