I drove all over looking for somewhere to fix a slow leak I had in a tire (mostly Mavis locations) getting 2-3 hour wait time estimates with some even saying they couldnt do it until the next day. Then I remembered a sign outside a little place I drive by quite frequently saying we love to fix flats, so I thought Id check it out. They seemed busy with several people seated in the waiting room and cars up on all the lifts. I went in anyway to ask if they could get it done and, to my amazement, the woman behind the counter said, yup, give me the keys, itll be 10-15 minutes. They jack my car up right outside the garage and less than 10 minutes later, the job was done and I was on my way. Couldnt be happier with the service and will definitely go back if I ever need a leak patched again!

Asked for a patch of a tire since I dont like plugs in my tires because its necessary to ream a hole to put a plug in. They put a plug when asked for a patch several times. I asked for a balance as well and how much for all of it. Was told it was balanced and instead it was just marked off where it was last taken off.....thats called a short cut. Made a nail hole bigger, and didnt balance a tire which now I have to do it elsewhere. So much for coming back where you bought your tire from.

Recently my daughter moved to North Massapequa and she called me today in a panic that she had gotten a tree branch in the sidewall of her tire. Being an auto mechanic for 25 years plus, she told me she was going to go to Mavis Tire to get it fixed and told her to stay far away from that place (had and knew friends with very bad experiences with that place, besides being over priced and dont perform most of the work they charge you for) and i will look for someone close to her home to go to. I googled her area and found your place Tire Discount Tire Pros. She went over to you guys and when she called me when she was done she told me how everyone was so nice over there and that you had her tire for her and was in and out very quickly. She told me she will be returning and recommending you to her friends.Not being so near to where she lives worries me about her car, but knowing she found you guys makes it easier.Thank you so much.

I went to tire pros today for an oil change. I was in/out in under 30 minutes as opposed to 2 hours at the dealership. They also filled up all of my tires without being asked, which saved me a trip to the gas station. I will definitely be back!

I like this place, but they wont do small job. A stud broke from my front tire, and they wouldnt change it. Told me to go somewhere else. If i go to a place to do a job, i expect them to do it no matter how big or small it is. They are getting paid. I didnt like that at all. Now i dont go there anymore.Well once again I go there Saturday 30 to do an oil change and other small things, I ask the girl working there to adjust my fan belt because it was making noises, she tells me they dont do mechanical work, i couldnt believe it! That was it. Adjusting a fan belt is mechanic 101. I think you should really consider taking your car there. I wont anymore after this!

A few days ago I was driving in Long Island and I was noticed that my steering shaking a little bit on the highway at 65-75mph. I decided to stop by that tire shop and perform the high-speed wheel balancing for the front ones. The service was quick but not quality at all. When I got my car back I checked the front tires and I saw they installed old weights. Then I started inspecting their job I touch one metal weight with my finger and it is fall off. I got back to the office and tell them that the job was done very slappy. they took my vehicle back and rebalance that wheel. I finally left. I got to the highway the imbalance becomes worst than before. I called them immediately they said you can come back and we will do the job again. But it was close to the evening at traffic builds up and my GPS show it is 35 minutes to go back. When I got to my neighborhood I stopped by my local tire place and ask them to check what was done to my wheels. The guy speaking of the wheel at his machine and shows 2.25oz on the outer side and 1.50oz on the inner side. He redoes the balancing and my car became very smooth on the highway.

A plug (near sidewall) started to leak, so 1 new tire was needed. Called Mavis, will send new tire from wharehouse to local shop. Called shop later and asked when is a good time to come in?. Guy responded we arent busy right now. Showed up 20 mins later and they were very busy. Will return next morning. At home at 330pm I gave it a shot and called Tire Discount based on they carried Continental. Vinny answered and they had my tire in stock for $15 cheaper than Mavis. He said if you get here by 430 we can do it quick. I was there in half an hour and my car was done 20 mins later. When I paid Vinny said sorry for the wait. I called Mavis back to cancel and the person who answered couldnt have cared less.

Despite a line of people (some of whom where quite difficult...) these guys had me in and out in minutes, were very clear in explaining the work that needed to be done, and were welcoming and polite the whole time. Got two new tires and alinment. Came back the next day because there was a screw in my back tire (one of the old tires). When they plugged it they said the front tires are losing air because the old valves are leaking so they had to replace those too. After I get home I look at my tires and they are all mixed up. The front driver side and rear passenger has the old tires. The front passenger and rear driver side has the new tires. I took the valve covers off so you can see the difference

They take my keys and before you know it my car is inside having new tires put on, or an oil change or anything that needs to be done They are fast. They are nice. The prices are great.
