Amazing variety of items, produce, meat/fish, pantry, and frozen choices are overwhelming (in a good way!). I enjoy shopping here and will continue to do so. The reason for 4 stars is I wish there was a little more effort made to translate things for their English speaking shoppers. I wouldnt expect each item to be translated word for word, but perhaps label the aisles or major sections/categories. That would make it easier to find what Im shopping for that particular day, but also encourage me to purchase additional new items. Even without the English signs, I always find terrific products at H Mart.

Korean grocery chain. A branch just opened in San Francisco to long lines and fanfare.Excellent varied produce, large bags of a dozen different rice, a large variety of fish shellfish and meat, and every Korean grocery you might want.The five table cafe provides a dozen authentic korean dishes.

H-mart is my favorite place to go for fish, meats, produce, rice, etc. You name it, its best bought here! All the workers are really sweet and are more than happy to give info or advice if youre not sure what something is, or what to use it with in a meal. They have lots of yummy snacks and a large variety of instant ramen as well. The store is always well kept and clean, bad food smells, and the produce is always fresh. They even have a little stand in the corner where you can order fresh food!

I love having access to the products at H Mart. Asian staples and things I cant find at other Asian stores in the area. Everything is good quality and baked goods are fresh. Prices seem high and so many things were not marked today. I left spending $50 which is $15 more than I planned. Did not realize how expensive certain things were until I looked at the receipt because they were not labeled on the shelf or the item itself.

This place is pretty legit. Its basically like going to a grocery store in Korea, but they have other Asian foods too. The produce seemed nicer than what you typically see and giant and the like and prices are reasonable.

Wanted to check out the local H Mart while in PA. Smaller than the ones were used to in NY, which is fine, but the hot food area was not operational. This was a major bummer. From the looks of it, it seemed to be shut down for some time now. They also didnt have the fruit section we are used to. Would most likely not visit this location again.

Low rating cause the staff in this store was rude last time I went. I will give an honest review but am lowering my stars just for rudeness alone. It doesnt cost money or time to be polite. I drove far to buy one thing here. I tried to ask a question and they either didnt speak English or rude or both. The store smells bad of fish sometimes and the food is not always clearly labeled. This is partly why I need to ask questions. They have a store in Elkins Park which is bigger and nicer. Theu will notnlet.you shop here if you have a .edical condition inwhich you cannot wear a face mask. You cannot wear a face shield. This exceeds the state mandate but I guess they can male their own rules. The rules were contradicted on the website.Pros: sometimes nice exotic fruit, but not consistent, lots of tofu types and greens, produce not always consistent in quality and availability, always lots of plantains that are very high quality, lots of seaweed, not always labeled well, good prices for rice and grains, lots of healing teas. Sometimes have great sale prices. They have interesting kitchen supplies, a bit pricey but broke easily. They also have good soft toothbrushes that are better than even onesto clean teeth and cheaper. Bathroom is a storage room. Dated so hard to tell if store and bathroom are clean or just old. You can eat there but hard to find out what ingredients are, labels not clear. Cramped store, small aisles get me trapped, checkout is cramped and always lines.Cons: Too strict on the mask policy and not following the guidelines for mask policy on their company website. Mandate was lifted, face shields and vaccines are not enough, but unlike other stores they wont give you a mask if you dont have one. So if you have a respiratory disease and try to shop here too bad, go home. If the store was immaculate, I would understand being so obsessed with masks. Disinfect your store if your worried about germs. Plus faceshields are better than masks. But the store is disorganized and outdated. The price of rice cakes which I came to get were high and the fruit selection wasnt as good as it has been but perhaps this problem is seasonal. Dont have sale flyers posted. Sale prices difficult to read on shelf talkers. Product placement random.

Love it here. Ive been on a mochi kick lately and they have the largest in-store variety closest to home including red bean, assorted fruit filling, and sweet mochi. Soooo good!

I like getting my milk tea fix here. Im just wondering what aisle the black sugar syrup is in? I was here today but couldnt find it, and I didnt think I would be able to ask the workers as I dont know if they speak English very well. There is no question section here, so I thought I would ask in this review. :)

Always a great time! The staff is so kind and helpful!! They have a large assortment of goods, anything you could possibly need for any Asian dish!

Really good variety of items. Fresh seafood, sushi grade ingredients, produce, and tons of packaged goods. Most items are not labeled in english (which is fine, because its imported packaging). If its crowded, moving throughout the store can be a bit slow because walkways are narrow.

This is my go to for Asian recipes. They have a good variety of products. I especially love their house kimchi.

This Korean Super Market is good and bigger than the one I visited before according to the grocery section.It was neat and clean and recommended for all kind of healthy food shopping.

The place is clean and good selection, but the front cashiers are rude. And it’s not like the place is super busy to make them stressed. Not saying they have to put a smile on their face, but they should be mindful and learn a lesson on how to be kind. Cause of that I’m never coming. And this isn’t the first time they were like this.

H-Mart has been my local go-to place when I want fresh produce, great prices on meats, and East Asian ingredients/meals. Ive been shopping here for better than 10 years, and Id be hard-pressed to go elsewhere.Their on-premises restaurant serves some dynamite food as well, with good prices, and deep flavor. Some favorite dishes from there are the sundubu jigae, ojingeo bokkeum, and the spicy seafood ramen. The banchan is always tasty, varied, and fresh, too.

H Marts are in my opinion the best Asian grocery stores that Ive ever been to. They always carry fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, seafood, etc. that i think are much better priced than other grocery stores. They have a little restaurant that also makes classic Korean dishes. They also have freshly made items such as pastries, sushi, and other banchan aka side dishes for sale. They have a large selection of nori (seaweed) products. A plethora of noodle products from udon to ramen. You really cant go wrong here.Also! Because of coronavirus theyve been enforcing face masks in the store and as well as gloves that are usually available to you at the entrance.

I have been here twice so far, its a great store! I have been making a lot of Japanese recipes and need specific ingredients and here is where I have been able to find them. They specialize in Asian foods in general.The meat and produce are great and I was able to find the exotic items I needed for my Tonkotsu Ramen adventure.

The absolute BEST for fresh and exotic produce! Mays and fresh fish are priced lower than other competing grocery stores. A wide array of Asian food products, appliances and ready frozen meals. Its my Go-to store and Im there at least three times a week because I but fresh to cook daily.

Amazing selection of produce, meats, and fish - most of which I could never find, or buy cheaper at my local chain grocery store. Inside is clean, and employees are very nice. Their little in-house Korean restaurant is great too - try the bibimbap - you won’t be disappointed!

I find mold on the noodles in the back literally every time I visit. Ive brought it up to the employees twice but nothing has been done.

They have a lot of hard to find Asian products, but last time I couldnt find green curry or bulgogi sauce...huh

Such a wonderful grocery store. Such amazing deals, too. Especially for foods that you cannot get anywhere else BUT here. Ive been going here since I was a child. I love all types of food but they have a wide variety. I go here for meat sometimes, and Asian products. So much things Ive tried are amazing. I also love almost every tea I have tried. Even the food at the chefs special location is wonderful!

My mom has been shopping there since I was a little kid and they have the most wide range of diverse food. It’s great!

Super small store for the chain but they have all the staples you could want. It can get crowded and there is not much room in the aisles so going on off hours is recommended.

Really nice, clean & organized supermarket (especially during these covid times). Had trouble locating a few items and a friendly associate named Andrew went out of his way to help me out! Refreshing experience compared to dealing with other absolutely packed supermarkets right now

Wonderful variety of Korean food, and very kind, friendly staff.

Went in yesterday and the meat to fish section was horrific. It smells so bad I almost vomited. There was a broken down open meat case with old blood, towels filling leaking freezers on the ground. Filthy tank water, blood all over. The catfish i just made drunk of rotten eggs and the Butterfield has worms. Threw everything away. The health inspector would go nuts.

Best candy, delicious soups!, Love it here. Also have a soup station in the store with fresh homemade food options for eating in. H Mart is my go to for special candy and snacks for the kids. Nice people, fun shopping, instant soup that you can make at home. Fun! Highly recommend! And lychees, cant beat it.

As soon as I inquired about the location of a number of items, he dropped what he was doing and proceeded to provide me with his full attention and support. Great Korean supermarket with many Asian supplies. They also carry for the average American consumer a great selection of vegetables, meat, fish, dairy etc at very competitive prices. Typically theyre open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and the place is incredibly sparkling clean. everything is scrubbed, all the time and the place is immaculate. They take lots of different forms of payment including all major credit cards and they bag your groceries for you. Parking is not more than 50 ft from the front door.. At this location only in levittown Pennsylvania they play incredible rock music.

Its smaller then some other H Marts and only has one restaurant but the selection is good and the store is kept clean and neat.

They have my favorite curry! Java curry! If only they had it on extra spicy tho!!!
