I was unable to book a local mover, took a chance on this company. Glad I did!! They were GREAT. Started with office who scheduled my move, to the 3 men that moved us. All of them were amazing, very polite, respectful and did a wonderful job. We had 3 different house to go to and NO complaints, just great service. I highly recommend them. I would highly recommend them if you are moving. They moved quick and got everything done with no damage or issues. Pricing I was quoted was right on and actually came in under and for what they did and the distant between apartments it was very reasonable rate compared to other quotes I received! These guys were pretty decent! I have a normal amount of furniture but a lot of random stuff so I asked for them to pack and move for me, and they finished right around the quote time. Chris and Corey were really great, super nice, handled everything carefully, asked for my input, and didn’t damage anything. The other guy, not as much 😂 (not mentioning his name cuz I don’t want him to get in trouble). He knocked over my wine rack and broke it before even packing it, took all of my knives out of the knife stand and packed them in paper like super dangerously lmfao and he packed straight up garbage (for example an empty bag of pizza rolls lmaooo). At least he packed all the garbage into one box I guess lol. Idk if he was having a bad day or something at 8:30 in the morning lmfao but that was weird, hopefully he doesn’t do all that again. Just taking one star off because of that guy, otherwise this was one of the least painful moves I’ve ever had 🙌🏼

Corey and Evan were AMAZING! They went the extra mile (literally) when I had to go back to my old apartment for the washer dryer. They handled everything with care and took the time to make sure everything was perfect. Additionally, my cost ended up very similar to my quote which was excellent. Couldn’t recommend more.

Everything about the move-out was amazing! The crew was SO FAST at getting all the furniture and boxes out of the house (and wrapping/protecting the pieces as needed). The move-in was also highly efficient even though the crew had to bring everything up 4 fights of stairs! Unfortunately, Dave (from the main office) did not tell the moving crew about the no-elevator circumstance....so the crew was unaware upon arrival but they still managed to adequately handle everything.The time and price quotes I received beforhand were very accurate. Nate, Roger, and Joe were fantastic and we will be using RDVL again and requesting this specific group! Highly recommend!

I never write bad reviews! I am in retail luxury business and understand how things can happen. I have given this company 10 months to respond to me. I will start with the crew, nice guys but not training in handling heavy pieces or how to pack a truck. Its not my first time moving and actually over stated what I have. They could only fit about 3/4 quarters of my things. I had to go out and rent another truck and move the remainder of items. I did not argue right or wrong here and just took care of it myself. My big problem is my antique mahogany dining room set that they scratched and dented the carved legs and sides of the table. They also broke whole glass panel on one side of the hutch that fits over the buffet.There are other items that were also damaged.I have timely done what I should have, email pics and called to follow up many times. I have tried to be so patient my mistake.THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE SMALL AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT THE INSURANCE ALLOWS, but about how I was ignored many times!I hope this gets your attention AnnaBeverly Richards

We were a bit skeptical of the name, so we did some checking. Read reviews (good and bad), checked with the Better Business Bureau (A- rating which we thought was very good), and had a pile of questions for Dave before we booked. He answered ALL our questions without hesitation. So we decided to book them for our move from VT to RI. Got a quote from Dave and made our deposit. We made a few changes before the day of our move which Dave said would not be a problem since they were small changes. Moving day - and we received a call about 20 minutes before they arrived. Corey and Kam showed up early! We got started. These two men loaded our possessions into the truck pretty quickly. It took a tiny bit longer because we had added a few things. They were professional, friendly and fast. They took great care to move our items, which were mostly older or antique family furniture pieces, and a bunch of boxes. There was never a problem, and everything was well protected. We were impressed with their strength and expertise in moving things out of our house and into the truck. About a half hour before they arrived at our destination, they gave us a call. They unloaded the truck quickly, again taking great care not to damage our possessions or the house. They even moved a couple of big heavy items in the house for us. Our experience with Real Deal Van Lines, Corey and Kam was perfect. We highly recommend them. They are professionals….and they ARE the REAL DEAL! Thanks guys!

WARNING … DON’T HIRE THIS COMPANYThis place was a joke … took me a few days to tally all the damage to my things and to cool off from how angry I was, only to find out I had only 48 hours to claim anything . What!!! I was beyond disgusted with the service I received!Here’s a list of all that went wrong.1. Took more than double estimated amount of time quoted., I was quoted 4 - 4 1/2 hrs and it took 9 plus hours for an average 3 bedroom home with no extras!2. Movers damaged more items than I list here. Including, washer, dryer, walls, ceilings, tables… 😡3. They Sent a small truck and then needed to go back for 2nd trip and still did not fit everything, all the time I’m paying for travel time etc… then I find out a larger truck was available. (Which I pointed out to owner prior to move and was told I had the larger truck)4. Mover guy announced more than once “can you believe I never moved anyone before?” “This is my first time” .. huh?5. Movers started complaining towards end and started tossing my stuff anywhere and everywhere ! What a messI wish I could share photos here …DON’T HIRE THIS COMPANY !!!

Believe the recent bad reviews. I hired this company for a small move from Somerville to Newton on August 31. After discussing the details of my upcoming move over the phone (and providing a payment method), I received no email confirmation, receipt, follow-up, or additional info from the company. I thought Id missed a call or the confirmation email ended up in spam — nothing. All I was told was that two movers would arrive sometime between noon and 5 PM. On 8/31, I had to call THEM to track down where the movers were and when they would show up. That was a huge red flag for me, and things only got worse from there.When the two movers arrived at my apartment at around 1 PM, neither one was wearing a face mask. One mover noticed my mask and snidely asked me: Why does everyone here wear masks? Face masks are required in all Somerville businesses and public areas where social distancing is difficult. Massachusetts COVID-19 Order No. 31 dictates that ALL persons over the age of two are REQUIRED to wear a face mask in public interactions. Additionally, in the midst of a global pandemic, wearing a mask while in someone elses space and handling their personal belongings is simply common sense. Their disregard for my health, the health of my partner, and the health of the elderly woman I now share a space with was appalling.Beyond their refusal to wear masks, the movers also refused to do their jobs. They REFUSED to move more than 10 boxes (I had at least 20 boxes packed and labeled). They claimed that their contract — a contract I never signed, much less saw — only covered 10 boxes. Even though I paid for a large moving truck, the truck was less than half full when they had finished loading it up. They also refused to carry anything to the curb, including an old mattress, a bookshelf, and other small items I wanted to part with or recycle. I dont have a car here, so I was left to figure out a way to transport the rest of my items (see photo), which would end up requiring several trips back and forth from Somerville to Newton. Unbeknownst to me, they also asked my partner (not me, the person moving and the person paying for the move) to sign a paper for liability insurance and acknowledging that the first part of the move was completed. The movers provided neither myself nor my partner with a copy of that signed form — I still havent seen it. Pressuring my partner into signing a form was extremely unprofessional and another HUGE red flag.After working with my partner to arrange another way to transport my stuff, the movers arrived at the final destination. Minutes after they arrived, I heard what no one who is moving wants to hear: the sound of shattered glass. I went outside to see the porch light shattered on the ground (see photo). One of the movers carrying the desk inside carelessly hit the porch light and shattered it. He apologized but never said a word about replacing it, or if that damage would be covered by the liability insurance my partner had just signed for.They completed the move at around 2:30, so the 4 hours of labor mentioned on the reservation call was less than 2 hours of work.If youre moving, pick a different company. Real Deal Van Lines turned a simple, small local move into a nightmare from start to finish, forcing me to move half of my stuff and make several trips back and forth to my destination. If I knew Id be doing most of the moving myself, I wouldve saved several hundred dollars and just rented a U-haul for two hours. The movers were unprofessional and careless, acting more like two kids working a summer job than professional movers. In the end, I paid several hundred dollars for half of a move and a shattered porch light. I cant imagine a worse moving experience.tl;dr - Save your money. Believe the bad reviews. Pick another moving company.

Luis & Estaban were amazing movers. They were strong and fast. Placed everything exactly where we needed it!

Was hired to moved a good majority of a household. They were due to show up between 1-4pm on Saturday 7/24. Due to a sick mover they ended up sending a back up crew and said I would get a better rate because the smaller truck would need to do two trips. Okay no problem. They arrived around 2:30pm in a Nissan high top van. Not big enough to move most of the things. It would be 3-4 tips to do it all. They told me I would need to choose what I wanted to move that day. I choose the bed (king) and dresser to start. I asked if I got another truck if they could help load it. They said no but would bring things outside for me. The moved a couch and dinning set to the front lawn (about 10 feet out of the house). I had to provide tools for them because they did not have any to take the bed apart. Once their truck was loaded they proceeded to the new house. They unloaded the bed and started putting it together while I unloaded the truck that had the dinning set and couch to the driveway. Then 5pm hit. They stopped what they were doing and said they needed payment and to leave. I said I dont know what Im paying you now because you did 10% of the job. They called they boss and told me I owed the $515 + the deposit of $200 i already gave them so $715 total. I was originally quoted $895 for the entire job. The movers refused to call their boss or to leave the house without payment. They also refused to make a second trip to get some of the other things and refused to bring anything else inside. So it was left in the driveway and I found some family members that could help. I would avoid them at all costs. I have called, left voicemails, and emailed with no response. I will be contacting my credit card company to resolve now.

Real Deal Van Lines did the last stretch of a complicated cross country move and they made the whole process run so smoothly. They picked up from 2 different locations and got all my stuff up two narrow flights of stairs with no issues.Bill and Luis were punctual, careful with my stuff, and made what could have been a hard day very easy.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this co. I went on a site to get quotes from various moving cos & ended up going w/Real Deal. Their quote was fair & they outlined everything over the phone, answering all my questions & sent the contract to email. I talked to 2 or 3 ppl over the phone - all excellent and they were upfront & honest. Theyre understanding & flexible with moving needs.They moved my things from a storage facility in the White Mountains to NH/MA border with a 2nd brief pick-up at another Iocation. Two young men, very professional & fast. They had any supply needed last minute (protective wrap/blankets, boxes, etc.)This review was a long time coming - this was early 2021 & they took a lot of stress off me due to physical limitations. Very cool & friendly w/a willingness to go above & beyond.Thanks Real Deal!! Highly recommend A+++

Far from a good experience. We’ve had the unfortunate luck of having to move a few times in the last few years, so let’s just say I know what I’m looking for in a moving company and Real Deal absolutely failed to deliver. One of the big things I learned was how awesome clothing wardrobes can be during a move, first you don’t have to take any of your clothes off the hangers, so no need to fold everything up and then you don’t have to worry about the wrinkles after the fact. You save a lot of time, effort and energy. So I was very clear in the fact that I wanted to make sure I had at least five of them as part of the move. Not only did they forget them completely, The office manager Dan told me that he would just charge me for regular boxes instead…As if he was doing some sort of favor. I reminded him that now this is going to take more time effort and energy from me and that he should just provide the boxes considering this was a big mistake on their part and he literally yelled at me that I was ridiculous to ask. However, if I did not pay for the boxes (even thought I paid for the missing wardrobes) they would leave my clothes behind. He literally thinks they didnt do anything wrong. This was the start of the downfall of the rest of the move. We then had damages...they drove over our pavers with the truck when we specifically told them we were ok with them on the grass but to avoid the pavers. Then we found they broke the plug on the baby monitor because they leaned the mattress against the wall it was plugged into so for the first night in our new house we have no baby monitor. 2 days later we found they broke ALL the hydraulic arms on our leather couch and bent an iron coat rack. Dan struck again and said I waited too long to tell him (2 days-because we were still unpacking and taking pictures) so he’s not covering anything. Overall the crew was a 3.5 out of a 5 and Dan a 0... poor customer service and attitude. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.--Response to their comments to my post -- I am sad to read they continue to be a horrible company that now can add lying to the list. We specifically told the drivers where to drive on the lawn and it was NOT on the pavers, regardless of cost they should not be a problem we had to deal with. The also NEVER offered a refund! I am so shocked they are saying this why the flip would I have refused money back!!!??? and they didnt have ANY wardrobes...not 1 or 2..ZERO...and lastly...I was not abusive. I was in tears they were saying they would leave our clothes behind while I had a baby in my arms...so if crying because I was completely upset is considered abusive then lock me up...Check my posts on Google, Trip Advisor and Yelp I rarely give negative reviews. I did this one to help another family from now being put through this scam of a company.

Bill and Denmon worked in 98 degree heat packing us up and getting us to our new home. Considerate to anything we wanted. So polite and the shower of hard work ran from their hair to there toes. We were so lucky to get these guys this awful day for moving. Thank you for sending them for us.

So Ive been a lifelong MA resident and have always moved ourselves; we bought a house in NH and decided this was the last time we were moving for a long time and hired movers: Real Deal Van Lines knocked it in out of the park. I had been calling around getting quotes and when Dave gave me the quote here I let out a loud laugh at how much lower his quote was than EVERYONE else, by a large margin.Moving day arrived and we were doing 3 locations to load into the truck before reaching the final destination of our new home. Manny, Luis, and Alex showed up just after 8am, they were friendly, professional, and fast. Quick with a joke and all around great guys who worked well together and made one of the things I hate doing most (moving) go by quickly and painlessly. If you guys are reading this, you absolutely crushed it and have my appreciation.If I find myself in need of movers again RDVL will be my first call, and I have already recommended them to some people who have been asking about movers.

*WORST EXPERIENCE EVER*! The movers were very nice but I didn’t pay for the customer service. A few of my big items such as my living room and bedroom set were damaged. I filed a claim with them and no one got back to me after Weeks on weeks. I kept calling and finally got an answer and they’re refunding me $60 for the damages lol. I told them I will be writing a review about this and the customer service guy (name starts with D) got upset and basically threatened me saying he won’t refund me then. What a shame! Imagine how many others this happens to.

Manny and Luis were fantastic. They were careful, courteous, and professional. There wasnt a single piece of furniture damaged. They placed everything where we requested and the speed with which they worked was amazing. My wife and I would recommend Real Deal without question. After the movers left and did not put my bed back together I had to pay someone to assemble the bed. I slept on the floor for a week!! Called the office and was told I would receive a call back.. needless to say I did not receive a call and received no information until I called them back.. I would not use this company again and would not recommend to anyone.Steer clear..there are many other more dependable companies out there!!

I was looking for movers last minute. They responded quickly and with a reasonable quote that was less than some other companies. They called when on route to let me know the ETA and got there when they said they would. Nate and Jake were great. Very personable and professional took notes of exactly what I had asked them to move. There were times I was carrying some smaller items (not for the truck) and they would grab it from me to help. After agreeing to the amount of stuff we were moving, the stops they needed to make and the final destination ;they quoted us a decent price. After spending the entire day moving us, they doubled the price and charged a5%fee for using a card that they already had on file. They broke our flat screen TV, our entertainment center, air conditioner and large lamp. After getting screwed when we tried to file for the TV, we didnt even bother filling for the other issues. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

My experience yesterday with Real Deal Van Lines was incredible. Tony and Nick loaded up my apartment VERY efficiently and safely. They estimated about 3 hours for my move and they beat it and saved me money as a result. The price for the service was the most affordable I found in the Boston area. Big props to Tony and Nick for a great service, for wearing masks throughout the move, and for being friendly throughout. I would use Real Deal Van Lines again for my next move.

My experience with Real Deal Van Lines 2 weeks ago was awesome. Corey and two of his friends loaded up my stuffs carefully and they were very efficient. My move finished in 3 hours, so i didnt need to pay them extra money. Corey and his friends took care and double checked with me for unloading all my stuffs. They were very friendly. First I’d like to start with saying that I never have hired movers before. My wife and multiple other people suggested and I was skeptical of it. I asked a bunch of questions and probably was a pain but Dave and Anna were great in the office and handled everything with professional mannerisms and prompt results and answers. The driver Jacob gave me a call 30 minutes prior to be there to pack. Him and Kwamy showed up and packed the entire house. My wife was pretty happy with all of that. Now we had also helped a little here and there the week leading up to this day to try and save time and costs. Overall that day went great. They were a pleasure to be with.Moving day came: Kwamy and Shawn and another worker came (not sure of his name.. sorry). Everything was going great until we found out we had more stuff than we thought so 2- 26’ trucks had to do it and that still wasn’t enough. So I had to do a few trips myself to make sure we were out by closing day. Wasn’t their fault because we had more than we thought.Overall, I’d use them again, great service, we did have a few small little things but it was things that really couldn’t have been avoided. We had one box fall which broke some glass jewelry box and then the spiral staircase in the new house got scratched (they had to move a 300 lb piece up it so I can’t be mad because that was a terrible set of stairs). We also did find that things were put in different areas but our new house is 4000 sq feet and they were hustling so I understood all of that. Just full disclosure and like I said I’d use them again and recommend them! Mostly younger gentleman that are hard workers and full of energy and was nice to meet new people and chat while they were working! Thanks again Real deal van lines!!!

Scheduled with Dave weeks ago. Got my confirmation email, they took my deposit, then NEVER SHOWED. I sat and waited for them for FOUR hours. I scheduled holiday events around this, I took time off of work, and was offered $10off for my “trouble”. Their “clerical error” has caused more stress and issues for me and they honestly acted as if they could not care any less. It’s amazing how quickly they took my money and I haven’t gotten a cent back. Worst experience ever. If I could give less starts i 100% would. Awful people, awful company, awful experience.EDITED TO ADD:So now that Ive left an honest review of this awful company, their response is to call me a liar?! hahaha ok. Why wasnt i told that someone called to reschedule because i can assure you that i never called back. why did you email me that it was in fact a clerical error? I have my email confirmation for the service that never happened, if the date were changed why was there no updated email/text communication? If thats your idea of sincerely trying, you really need to be better trained in customer service.

They did everything perfect but the kitchen table it got a big chip and all they gave me was 50 dollars to fix it I paid $1,000 for that table and I would figure that that would cause like $300 to fix it and they only gave me $ 50

We had Jacob and Tony move us from Ayer, MA to Caribou, ME on March 2, 2020. They were fantastic! They were punctual, efficient and professional, hardworking and really nice guys! They had a rough patch of weather coming up to northern Maine but they took it in stride. Arriving at the destination at about 7 pm, they were able to unload everything into the garage at lightening speed. The total price was very reasonable. Altogether a very good moving experience. I typically do not take the time to write reviews but I wanted to share my move experience. After a stressful few weeks of packing and getting ready for my move, the actual experience with Real Deal Van Lines exceeded my expectations. Jacob and Kameron were clearly very experienced, as this was a problem-free move. With two stops, breakdown and set up of the beds and navigating very heavy furniture up and down tricky stairways I was concerned this wouldnt go well. However, it was smooth, on time to the estimate and stress-free for me. A big thank you to Jacob and Kameron, they are professional, seemed to enjoy what they were doing and represented their company very well. I highly recommend Real Deal Van Lines.

We used Real Deal for the second time in two years. Both experiences were very positive. Nate, Bill and Vinny were very professional, friendly and hard working. We couldn’t believe how fast they were able to load and unload the 27’ truck. They all had common sense and treated our belongings with care.

I have personally spoken with both Dave and Anna in the office. I could not be happier to not have gone with them. Do yourself a favor, read the reviews. I was treated so disrespectfully by them both.This isnt the first time i see you calling someone a liar in your response to a bad review. do you ever take responsibility for your mistakes? Or do you just push the full blame on the customers?

I moved January 3,2020--this review is way overdue!Bill and Luis arrived on time with a huge truck, and they immediately went to work. They were really wonderful. They handled the long icy driveway at my new destination very well--even though the truck itself had an old transmission and the wheels needed to be chocked. They carried things in up snow covered stairs in no time. This was money very well spent. My roommate also moved in, with a different company, and had nowhere near as good an experience. Thank you Real Deal Van Lines, and thank you Bill and Luis!

Bill and Nate were the best on our move! Professional and they knew how to move our things carefully and respectfully. Prompt ad honest responses from the professional staff during the moving set up were also a very pleasant experience! 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

I love Real Deal Van Lines! Ive used them for two moves now and my experience both times was incredible. Theyre priced super reasonably (and by reasonably, I mean youre not gonna find a better price anywhere else), the movers are ALWAYS so friendly and professional, and theyre so freaking fast. Believe horror stories here and on other sites. These people are low lives who in the owners own words go to court all the time. Roll the dice if you want but know these are crooks who care more about a quick buck than their customers, their property, or their reputation. If you have any problem, the owner will not work with you to solve it, she will just tell you she loves going to court (again direct quote). Nightmare experience with terrible people!

Jacob and Kameron showed up as promised, called ahead to tell me their ETA and were professional and responsive throughout the move. My job was a small one but they treated it like a big job. They handled all my items with care. I was so nervous about moving my Peloton but they did it and the rest of the move without a single scratch or dent and they were so quick!My only comment has nothing to do with them but the fact that when I booked the job I was told I would get an email confirmation after I booked the job and paid a deposit, I called the next day after not getting the e-mail and checking the junk folders and the office said they would resend it. I got the e-mail the day before the move 8 days after my initial contact. Otherwise everyone I spoke to was kind and receptive. Keep up the good work!

The team of Bill, Manny, and Malik were outstanding. They shuffled everything in and out under the estimated time. They were very cautious but moved very efficiently. They were super friendly. I would 100% recommend Real Deal to anyone else who may be moving.

Real Deal called my house 30 min before arriving and then arrived on time. Vinny and Nate were terrific .. I had them move some very awkward, heavy and difficult pieces. They were curious, polite friendly and efficient. Overall just a great experience with these guys. I highly recommend this company.

Real deal van lines lives up to their name they are the real deal and are very reasonably priced and willing to work with their clients both the office staff as well as the movers themselves.I had a pack move and storage done by Nate,Corey and Duece they were professional and very careful with my belongings I know when I explained the situation to the office they said they could come in pack and move and be gone in like 3 hours an entire house with 3 guys. I didn’t believe the office or the movers even when they showed up Nate was lead on pack and move out Day he walked with me and the crew as I explained what needed to be packed and moved. He gave marching orders to his men and I still can’t believe they managed to pack and move an entire house in just three hours. Than the move in I was glad to see Nate again cause he was so professional and a good leader he was with Bill and Vinny this time but these two men are also very good at what they do And to my shock again the truck was unloaded and stuff reassembled and every box in the rooms I directed them to be in. All of this done within an hour at my house. I couldn’t have asked for better service. The thing I want to comment on cause yes it is bound to happen when you move a house full of stuff and close to 75 pictures in frames with glass one of the pieces of glass will be broken. Even with the hustle of the crew it could have easily been hidden or lost in the hustle but Bill took the time to call me over and let me know we had a mishap. One picture frame the glass was broken on I was like not to worry I know that is bound to happen I am not worried at all he explained how to file a claim etc. I said no claim needed it is extremely minor and I am not worried about it but he was apologetic and said we take pride in our work and treat your belongings as our own. So a whole house packed and moved and stored for a month and packed and moved to my new place and all I lost was a small piece of glass can’t ask for better service I would recommend real deal to anyone who needs moving help. Even better they will store your stuff for a day or years if necessary. And storage rates are very competitive for all the storage companies around. Will definitely use them again in the future for any moves I have.

I bought a couch and a love seat from a Gardner store. The store did not personally offer delivery but recommended “Real Deal Van Lines, Inc.” and gave me their telephone number.I would have taken a truck myself, but I needed somebody to carry the furniture into the house.On Friday, October 9, I called real deal Van lines and spoke with Dave. My specific question to him was… They will bring it into the house, correct? Because I could pick it up myself and save myself $150 but I am 70 yrs old and need people to be able to bring it into the house for me. Without hesitation Dave said “absolutely, not a problem they will bring it in.“When their delivery truck came, two young men got out, came into the house to check around how they were best going to bring it in. Within three or four minutes, they came to the decision that they were not going to be able to bring it in. Their claim was that my furniture was oversized and they couldn’t get it through with the door or doors. I can guarantee anyone that would like to see this furniture that it (Is Not) oversized.We (did) have oversize furniture in the very room that they were supposed to put my new furniture in.The boys that came to deliver my furniture didn’t even have a tape measure with them? They never attempted to turn, twist or flip the furniture to maneuver it into the room. They basically thought they could just walk the couch or the loveseat straight in each holding one side? I’m 70 years old and I know enough that you need to turn or twist furniture to go around the doorway.This moving company uses the excuse time and time again so I hear that it’s not their fault, it’s because “Big Lots” furniture is oversized.. That makes it much easier and less time spent for the moving company when they can just drop it off curbside or in your garage if they can blame the furniture company instead of taking on responsibility themselves.I live on Social Security so I ask somebody... anybody who should take responsibility?I bought and paid for the furniture at the furniture store. I bought and paid for delivery of the furniture to be brought into my house. So now I have furniture sitting on a cement floor in my garage where it gets flooded every time it rains. I have nine rooms of furniture in my house and I’ve been living here for 35 years and I have never ever had somebody tell me they can’t get my furniture into my house! This is an absolute first.Real deal van lines should be reimbursing me my $150 so that I can repay different movers to bring my furniture into my house. But they are not willing to do that. I telephoned them this morning and she was adamant about not doing anything to help me out. She refused to send over different movers or to reimburse me. In the meantime, my furniture is sitting in the garage where it’s going to get wet and rotted and destroyed by mice. Do you want to know what my opinion is of the real deal Van lines? You don’t want to know!But I can tell you, this is not over, not by a long shot.If anyone else I’ve had issues with this company please do not hesitate to email me…And I noticed just recently that I went back to look at my review and the owners of this company out-right lied over and over again regarding my negative review. Alex and Tony crushed my move! Id budgeted like 5-6 hours in my head, but they knocked it out in 4, with an hour of travel included.Would absolutely use these guys again.

I scheduled a move with Real Deal Van Lines including a 3 hour drive and the move was done by Bill and Hunter. They were on time and overall great and professional movers! They were efficient and took care of our things to prevent any damage. They also made sure to tell us what they were doing so we knew what was going on and were awesome about coordinating with us. I would definitely recommend Real Deal as well as Bill and Hunter for any move!

I was very underwhelmed by the service. The company said they were going to call me the day before to confirm a time and did not, they said they were going to call me in the morning and did not, the movers did not wear masks and were unprofessional. The service was overpriced and the movers were lazy. I will not be using this service anymore needless to say!

Used Real Deal Van Lines for our recent move from the north shore to the Cape. Sean, Bill, and Jon showed up right on time on moving day and were extremely fast and courteous. They were the perfect mix of careful and quick with all the big items and nothing was damaged in the move. This truly was a good deal and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for movers.One piece of advice if you use them is to be careful on your estimate of items to be moved (goes for any moving service really). I underestimated how much stuff we had and the truck was filled to capacity.

It was a nice Saturdays experience, which took only 2 hours and 20 minutes. Cory and Tony moved our 1 bedroom apartment with an extra stop at Lowes to pick up some stuff super fast. They were running back and forth from the building to the truck and up and down to the 3rd floor.

It has been several months since we moved from Gloucester, Massachusetts to Nashua, New Hampshire. I did my diligent homework looking for a mover who we could trust and rely on to make this arduous task easier and and relatively pain free. Moving is right up there with the most daunting tasks any of us can take on, and as we grow older the challenge only increases in complexity. While searching I came across Real Deal Van Lines. Im an ad guy by trade and I liked the name. So I called and spoke to Dave. Immediately I liked him and felt I could trust this stranger with all our belongings. Im glad I did. Moving day was February, 1, 2019. Winter in Massachusetts, what could go wrong? Three men arrived right on time. Their names were Cory, Josh and Andrew. They are as good as it gets. We had done our best to pack and label boxes. The crew was so efficient in packing their truck and protecting our belonging which included a lot of glass and china. We were done by noon and on our way to Nashua. The load-in went equally well and the truck was empty well within the estimated time. A week later we did a second move of a Danvers, Massachusetts storage unit to a storage unit in Nashua. We asked to have the same crew which included one new mover named Will who was equally professional. Again the experience with Real Deal was seamless and efficiently carried out. I want to thank all the folks at Real Deal for making this move as hassle free as could possibly be hoped for. When we move again we will only call one number and ask for the same crew of professional men to make our move as easy as possible. You can trust Real Deal Van Lines. They are as good as it gets.

We have already used Real Deal Van Lines several times and plan on using them on several more occasions. Bill, Luis and Corey were on todays crew, bringing 3 rooms of furniture down from the NH lakes region to Framingham. As with the other crews, they were very professional, pleasant and efficient. They took care with all of our belongings, making sure they were placed in the correct area. A big thumbs up to those 3. We hope we get them on our next move. We would recommend Real Deal without hesitation. There pricing is extremely competitive and they are very accommodating.

I had an excellent experience with Real Deal Van Lines. Corey, Justin & Manny did a phenomenal job moving me from a difficult 3rd floor apartment on one of the hottest days of the year in ~3 hours. They were hard working and really exemplified what quality service should look like (impossible to find customer service like this anymore). They were also very friendly and overall made me feel comfortable throughout the entire moving process. This is the 2nd time I’ve used them and the 3rd time my family has. They were great, in every possible way. I only needed to move one thing, a heavy washing/drying machine, from my friends apartment to mine. The difficulty was that I live on the top floor (naturally) of a three-decker in Boston, with really narrow stairs and sharp turns.I arranged everything with Anna, who was very nice. We set up an arrival window between 1pm and 4pm; she said it might be a little earlier, because they had another job in the same area, but in any event theyd call me an hour or so before arrival.Sure enough, Manny and Luis called just after 11:30am, and arrived an hour later. Moving the machine out was straightforward, but as Id expected, the stairs at my place were tough. But they did it! With no damage, somehow, and with amazing good humor throughout. Such nice guys.I was really impressed.

My husband and I have moved a number of times in the past ten years. Real Deal worked with me over the phone and via email to make the move go smoothly. Cory, Patrick and Derrick were the hardest working crew we have had. They went non-stop for an entire day. Our move took longer than anticipated, but that is because we own way too much stuff. I would recommend Real Deal to anyone. Just make sure you have a realistic view of how much stuff you own because they charge an hourly rate. So the longer it takes the more it costs. We were very happy with the cost of the move, even though it was longer than anticipated. They were still less than half the amount of other movers who quoted by weight and not by the hour. I looked up movers online and came up with a couple options that seemed to fit the bill. I received two quotes that were very similar. What solidified my choice to use Real Deal Van Lines was Annas approach to options. A family of 6, we were downsizing from a spacious Country home to a small home in the City.The crew that arrived showed a great deal of thoughtfulness both to my family as well as our belongings. I thought they worked efficiently and while the pricing was not bargain neither was the work ethic.We moved last week and now about 10 days later I am finally getting to do this review. The great news is that despite having to put a good deal of our furniture into a shed on the property, I have been able to access every item I have gone to the shed looking for. To me that is paramount! I thought it showed great planning and foresight on the part of the crew. That shed is packed to the gills! The first few times I went out there I was expecting the worst and now I thank them every time. I anticipate a move again in the next couple years and I will absolutely call for an estimate. Although at first use they seemed great, it was a terrible experience, had to repack pod once, had moved things and many were scratched and damaged. No response from company other than to say insurance wouldnt cover it. Even though I provided many many blankets to wrap thingstie downs that they never used and just left without another thought. I am sorry I used them for the entire move. Dont trust your belongingsto them.

I researched over 20 moving options and this was the cheapest one. Great customer service, easy to set up, and the movers (Corey and Denom) were very professional, personable, and super efficient.

We recently had an in-building move from one floor of the building to 10 flights above.Our movers Luis and Justin came right on time and were the most helpful, careful and enthusiastic individuals we could have hoped for. When there were issues with the elevators (unexpected), these two made the experience as smooth as it could be for a day that is inevitably stressful even with everything organized.Highly recommend the user friendly approach of the company and the sincerity of all its team members!

Nate, Bill, and Malik were very helpful today. They were on time, friendly, and worked efficiently to get our entire move done with all items re-assembled in the new house in under 3 hours. We’ve had bad experiences with other moving companies and this one did right by us!

I wish I read the real 1-star reviews before booking this company. Broken items, charges significantly over quoted price, and the owner doing absolutely nothing from a customer service perspective to right the wrongs of her employees actions seem to be very common trends on these reviews.Horrendous and I will never use or recommend this company to anyone. My final fee was 30% higher than quoted due to a longer than anticipated move. This would be understandable; however, the process the movers used was ridiculously inefficient, often carry items one-by-one from the truck to the elevator rather than using their proper equipment.The final straw for me is the way my items were handled. The movers broke over $350 worth of my belongings, all properly packed. When I made claims to the company they told me they were willing to reimburse me $35. When I stated that this was completely unacceptable since the broken items were 100% the fault of careless handling by the movers (I saw them drop and break my items with my own eyes), the company went silent and stopped responding to any forms of contact.Overall, if you want quality movers that you can actually trust with your belongings, DO NOT USE RD VAN LINES.-- ADDITIONAL COMMENTARY TO THE REPLY POST BELOW --The over inventory comment is entirely made up by the company. In fact, when the movers showed up I was told that I did not much have stuff at all, it should be an easy move, and they thanked me for taking apart all of my furniture as it saves them a ton of time me and me money. Additionally, if fair settlement refers to the $35 dollars that was offered to me for several hundreds of dollars of damage caused by mishandling of my items by the movers, that is laughable.I will say the company is at least consistent. The response is extremely in-line with others on this review board. Made up excuses to cover tracks.I will be posting screenshots of the email exchanges shortly.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bill, Justin, and Pat today. They were friendly, professional and efficient. They called 1/2 hour before arrival to let me know they were on their way (arriving earlier than promised!)They did a great job securing and protecting the items to be moved. I would definitely recommend Real Deal Van Lines as a mover and will use them in future moves.

David, Josh and Nick moved us on 8/29/17. They were the most professional moving crew Ive ever worked with, and I have had many moves--both home and office! They worked efficiently and quickly and took great care with our belongings. The teamwork they displayed was impressive. It was a long day because we have a lot of books and workshop paraphernalia in addition to normal household goods and they never flagged! I practically had to force them to take a lunch break. Anna was great setting things up. I had to change my move date and she accommodated the change with ease. I highly recommend RD Van Lines and this crew. Thanks guys!
