I always thought I was getting a great price. I recently joined and visited a Sams Club store and found the jewelry section. They carried everything that Kays has but for half the price. I did not realize their items can be found at other retailers. The employees are nice and professional but I cannot justify paying double the price for the same exact item that can be found at other retailers. Sure they have free cleaning and inspection but for double the price and warranties cost extra. I am sure they extra cost goes to rent for their stores in the malls and the associates salaries. With big membership clubs the company owns their buildings and they do not have associates dedicated to the jewelry section so that is how they can offer a much lower price.
Will never bring my jewelry to this location, ever ever again! Took my wedding ring in, after not being able to wear it for about 4 months due to a stone falling out and them not taking in repairs due to covid, and left being told my ring would be back 11 days later. I thought wow usually its 14 days, sweet! The due back date came and went. After waiting 13 days I called asking if its in and they proceeded to tell me that the older woman sent it to the wrong shop but they couldnt tell me an estimated date I would get it back. I was upset that I never recieved a phone call, email, nothing stating this mistake and that the wait time would be even longer. She said she would contact the repair center and try to get me an estimated date. Waited 2 more weeks and no calls or emails other than the original ones I got saying Id have it back in 11 days after I dropped it off. I called again. Got the same run around, that theyd call and get me an estimated date of when Id get it back and call me back. Waited another week, STILL NO CORRESPONDENCE OF WHEN IM GETTING MY WEDDING RING BACK! A lady on the phone 3 weeks before had said to me, its going to be delayed, its no big deal. I was furious. This isnt like a normal piece of jewelry its my wedding ring and I have absolutely no idea when Ill get it back and nothing in writing (email) stating itll be delayed from my original due back date. So now 4 weeks after dropping my ring off I call yet again and she said it wont be due back for 3 more days.... this is the FIRST TIME someone said theres an actual due back date. An hour and a half after I called and they told me that they called my husbands phone and said its in! On my way there I called 10 times to confirm it is in fact in and no answer. Ridiculous! The WORST communication. Ive had this ring a long time and have always brought it in every 6 months with no issues at any other location. If you care about your jewelry piece, take it to another Kays location PLEASE. It isnt worth the hassle!!! Very disappointed!
Would have rated it higher but we waited 5 months for a watch to be repaired and are now waiting on a ring to be repaired hoping it doesnt take as long
An amethyst double hearted ring, I crushed the finger it was on, and loosened a stone, and since my ex-husband got insurance on it when he purchased it in 09, .... My fee was all set!
Employees were very helpful & resourceful. They helped me choose a gift for my wifes 40th birthday. Shes going to love it!

I went into kay jewelers in leominster ma, to have my ring serviced and cleaned. I was approach by a sales girl with no personality and she dropped my ring on floor and didnt clean it well at all. my over all services there was not good, Im not happy with how I was treated there. its not how much you spend on a ring, whether its $100. or $5000. everyone should be treated the same. this ring is very sentimental to me and when she dropped on the floor, showed me she didnt care and she didnt even say sorry for dropping it. Im not sure I will be returning to this store and my take my business else where. Thats just not how you treat someone who shops in your store!!!!
