I went to purchase a 2008 Honda pilot for under $9,000. The owner explained to me that there was issues with the car straight way. He didnt want to sell me the car until the issue was fixed. He paid out of his own pocket to have it fixed at his auto shop and went an extra mile to bring it to the Honda dealership just to make sure the car was safe for use. Unfortunately he found out the transmission wouldnt last for even a few months. So he refunded my deposit on the car, (the entire amount) and even offer to find me another SUV which was nice on his part. He was respectful, courteous and professional to me and my need for an SUV Thank you sir for being honest with me and not lying to me not just selling me a bad car.

11/3/2021How is this dealership still in business? Anyone who does business with Renel eventually figures out he is a liar. Look at the ratios or likes on the bad reviews vs the good reviews. He knowingly sells catastrophically bad vehicles that could injure or kill someone. Mine had a cracked transmission and completely rotted undercarriage. I truly wonder if someone has been hurt driving one of his cars because he should be in jail for his reckless behavior.

This establishment has helped me tremendously. Not only did I leave there with many answered questions but also I feel like the service there was welcoming and genuine. A lot of businesses don’t take the time to ensure that their staff members are informative while still being polite and with this business you can easily notice how they express this while still being very helpful. Definitely recommend. Great customer service!

Went out if our way to check out this place because the trucks they have posted online looked pretty decent and a good price. Got to the lot and most of the vehicles on the lot had flat tires and were literally falling apart. I saw maybe 2 or 3 that -might- pass inspection. Dont waste your time with their junk.

Went through TWO cars from them now. I had bought a 2011 Chevy Equinox. Was told it was ready to go and will pass inspection. Turns out it was far from ready. Not only did it not pass inspection, it decided it was going to stall out everytime I stopped and even while I was driving it. Then, I had bought a 2011 Subaru Tribeca which yet again did not pass inspection even though I had asked them if it was 100% ready for inspection which they had said, “Yes, it all set buddy.” Turns out both the mufflers had big holes in them and was rusted out to the point that wielding wasn’t possible. Before I had chosen the Subby I had asked if there were any cars in their lot that would pass inspection. Out of the 25 cars they had.. only three were “ready”. The subaru was quite literally the only car I could have chosen. Please for the love of God, do not pick this dealership. Keep searching! Buy it nice or buy it twice!

Went and looked at a few trucks today. I feel like I need a tetanus shot now. Lots of rust not seen in pictures online. Person I spoke with said they would fix everything after I paid for the truck. After seeing a few cans of spray pain on one of the desks I doubt it would be perfect.Prices were good. Just dont feel safe dropping 8k to wait for them to fix it.

Long and short of my experience - bought a truck here that had heavy rust to the frame that was covered up by their “mechanic” with some substance. Truck failed inspection and was going to require nearly as much in repairs as I paid for the truck.Purchased 2004 F150. Owner would not budge on the price as he kept saying what a great truck this was. He did offer to put new tires on after I informed him the current tires on the car would not pass inspection. After purchase owner told me that he would “overnight” me the title to the truck once my check cleared so I could register it in NH (my home state) and bring plates back with me. Check was cashed and cleared quickly but title was not sent so I had to get temp plates for the truck. On the scheduled date of pick-up I arrived the truck was “not ready”. Owner was no where to be found (but of course has cashed my check immediately) and everyone claimed they were not aware that I was scheduled to pick up the truck that day. A “mechanic” told me that he needed to “go over” the truck before I could take possession of it. The new tires that I was promised were also not on the truck.I was extremely frustrated that no one could have been bothered to call me to tell me about the delay knowing that I was traveling over an hour to pick up truck and had to inconvenience someone else to give me a ride down. I was offered to take one of the other cars on the lot home so when the truck was ready I could drive myself down. The first car they offered sounded like it was seconds from falling apart when he drove it up. After declining this car they offered me a car that had windshield wipers that when “off” stayed in the middle of a windshield. After suggesting that this probably wasn’t safe to be driving such a distance with something obstructing the windshield I was met with attitude and was told that it isn’t unsafe to drive a car with an obstructed windshield. I was finally offered a vehicle that seemed like it could withstand a trip to NH and back. Aside from the smell of marijuana in the vehicle and the wet jacket in the back it did the job.We had planned another day for me to get the truck and I called the day prior to ensure it would be ready, which they insisted they would. It took over a week for the title to be “overnighted” to me, but I was happy to have the truck and be done with Plymouthe motors. When I took the truck to be inspected in failed...miserably. The truck had a lot of rust on the frame and underside - to the point I was recommended to take it to a welder to get an estimate for repairs. The welder that looked at the truck could not believe the extend of rust that the truck was sold with. He said anyone with any degree of mechanical knowledge would know this truck would not pass inspection in MA or NH. In his estimate he described the frame as being coated with “a black substance which is covering over the rust”. He explained this was an attempt to cover the rusted frame so it appeared ok to the naked eye. He further described “amateurish level” repairs performed. I paid $7800 for the truck and the estimate for repairs was $5750. The welder told me that if I was to have the truck repaired (which he strongly recorded against) he was not willing to perform the repairs as they were so extensive and would requiring “undoing” all the poorly done repairs performed by Plymouthe Motors before starting proper repairs.I provided this estimate to Plymouthe motors and after a few back and forth calls (all initiated by me as no one from this business EVER called me back when they said they would) they agreed to allow me to return the truck. The only positive part of my experience was being able to return the truck and not be responsible for a vehicle that was sold to me under deception.Best part of the story? The truck is now re-listed on their site and listed for $1100 MORE than what I paid for it! Be very wary of this place - they are dishonest, unreliable, and deceitful.

I bought my car from here months ago and it was not a pleasant experience. I made an appointment to look at a car I saw online and after i got there they told me it was sold so they showed me a car similar to the one I wanted. I liked the car so I decided to do it. I had to wait a week for the car to be fixed and once I finally took the car home It was having problems ( when everything was supposed to be fixed). Overall this place held up my life for 2 weeks. I drove back and forth which was an hour each way sometimes for them to just tell me to go back home because my car wasn’t ready yet, yet they could’ve called and told me. My car also didn’t come with a jack or floor mats ( which most dealerships give you with the car). I was young and excited to buy my car but looking back I should’ve told them off. 0/10 experience. Do not go here!

When I get inside the check engine light was on along with a couple other lights. Also, the car clearly had an exhaust leak. I didn’t even bother test driving it. Big turn off ! I was so ready to buy but he couldn’t convince me by saying that everything would be serviced prior to inspection. No no no! I know how to turn off a check engine light too!! FIX YOUR CARS or simply stop posting them. The reviews are horrible for this place and I still went in to see for myself. And it’s 100% true.

If I didn’t have those expectations I would have bought a new car! Everything that was wrong with my car was fixed! If I needed anything more, they were a phone call away! Highly suggested!!

Attempted to purchase a Jeep, when I test drove it the check engine light was on, they said they would take care of all of it prior to me picking it up. Picked up the car after it was “serviced” noticed the clock was wrong and the radio was not programmed. As I’m driving home the check engine light comes on again. I bring it back they tell me to get it inspected and they will fix the issues causing it to fail. Needed a catalytic convertor, additionally on the inspection report it said the code was cleared 125 miles ago. Rather than fix the issue they unplugged the battery. Returned the next day to fix the catalytic convertor, that was Monday. Apparently it takes 3 days for them to fix it because they were waiting for “parts”. Except that they are located next to a Jeep dealer who had the part. Thursday I pick up the vehicle after it’s “fixed” and within a couple hours the check engine light is back on. I stop at autozone to check codes, which are different this time. I bring it back to them on Friday and said the light is back on. The owner says I’ll have my lead mechanic look at it. They determined it was cylinder coil. They would replace it that morning. They call and said it’s all set. I pick up the Jeep and make it 2 miles down there road. The light is back on with same codes. At this point since the bank had not finalized the purchase because of these issues I opt to back out of the deal. The owner says I can’t get a refund of the money I put down because it went to “sales tax” and I’d have to file a report with the state. Except the deal was not finalized and their paperwork indicated the money was for a partial payment of the vehicle. The owner refused to refund my money and was threatening to cancel the registration if I did not return the car. After several hours of phone calls and speaking with lawyers and threatening legal action he reluctantly agreed to refund my money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I recently bought a used car in March. I went to bring it to get a sticker within 7 days of purchasing the car and it did not pass. It passed the safety portion of the test but it did not pass the emissions portion. I also noticed the service engine light was on. I called the dealer and was told to drive the around since they had disconnected the battery to replace it. I was also told by him that the engine light was not an issue and that I should come to the dealer to get an oil change and that would solve the issue. I drove around for the remainder of March and April. During that time I had issues with the tires. They were losing pressure constantly. The dealer told me that the tire issue was not his concern. I ended up paying $200 to get that issue fixed at another body shop. It only temporarily fixed the issue. I now have to fill my tires almost every day. In May, I went to the dealer to get an oil change. He assured me that this would solve the light issue. After the oil change the light was off. The next morning, the engine light was back on. I called the dealer and he told me to bring it back in. I went to Autozone and had them plug the car into their machine which told me that the issue was an air flow sensor. I brought that report to the dealer. He ordered the part and had his mechanic fix it. The next day I noticed the light was on again. I brought the car back again to the dealer where my car was “fixed” again. The issue seemed to be rectified, but I hadn’t even gotten to the highway yet and the light was back on. I called the dealer and went back. They “fixed” it again and the light stayed off for a few days. Then, right before I had planned to go get the car re-tested, I noticed the light was on again. I went back to the dealer and they claimed to have fixed it again. The light was off so I decided to go right to get my car re-tested. When I went to have my car re-tested for a sticker, the service engine light was on. My mechanic explained that he could not pass the car while the light was on. On the paperwork the code for the reason for failure was the same for the issue my dealer had claimed to be fixing. I finally decided to have my mechanic look at the issue. He said that the sensors had been replaced, but the hoses were cracked and wrapped with electrical tape and were still not fixed. The dealer has said he will have his mechanic try to “fix” it again. However, now I will have to pay for any further re-test since my free one has been used. And now the back tire is completely flat. Avoid at all costs, I’m definitely looking at my legal options because it’s been ridiculous.

Nothing but headaches. Headlight worked when I seen the car but was dead when I got it home. After 3 hours stirring in their show room I was told it was fixed only to find our its not. I suspect an electrical issue. We also found that the radio doesnt work but thats not a safety issue so its not their issue. Sorry I was listening to the engine and transmission and not the radio. Now on top of it all, the tire THEIR mechanic told me was bad and may not pass inspection went flat after only 2 weeks. I was told that the tire was junk and I need an alignment or the same thing will happen again in time. But it did somehow pass inspection somehow so I am betting Im eating that to. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. Save yourself the headaches of hidden issues.

I bought a 2010 Buick Enclave from Plymouthe Motors. Signed the contract on March 5th, took delivery on March 20th. When I test drove it, the check engine light was on and there was a clunk in the front end. Renel said he would get it fixed. In the 15 days between signing the contract and taking delivery they replaced 4 timing chains. When I would call the dealership to inquire when I would be able to pick it up, Bob would give me one story and Renel another. They would tell me they tried to contact me but I didnt pick up my phone. I work close to their dealership and have at least 4 bars at all times. Until I went back into the dealership to see when I was going to be able to pick it up they let me talk to the mechanic and thats when I found out that they replaced 4 timing chains. About a month after I picked up my car my water pump blew. I towed the car to the dealership and it took 10 days to replace the water pump. There was no offer of a replacement vehicle. Come August 8th, the check engine light goes on about 10 minutes from my destination. I get to my destination, check fluids, run it a little to see if I can hear anything, let it sit for 6 hours. I get 30 minutes into my ride home with 4 kids and the car dies in the middle of the highway. Get it towed to my mechanic, they say there is loose metal in my engine you can hear when you try to start it up. The timing chain broke up and blew my engine. Get the car towed to another shop for a 2nd opinion. I get the same exact diagnosis. I call Bob, explain to him and he has every excuse in the book and I a reply for all of them. Come to find out his mechanic is not certified, but hes qualified. While I know you dont need to be certified to be a mechanic, its a great little extra confidence booster for me, a customer. A certified mechanic has gone to school, does thousands of hours of work under a teacher and has taking the certification. Im not quite sure what makes the mechanic qualified cause he didnt do the timing chains correctly and it took him 10 days to replace a water pump. I am waiting on a call from someone at the dealership, as they were the last people to do engine work to my vehicle. I was told I could bring it to them, but im not going to someone who has done the job incorrectly the first time.I would stay as far away from Plymouthe Motors as possible. Do not make the mistake I made. All these positive reviews given are probably friends and family. I know others who have purchased vehicles from Plymouthe and all have had problems.I have contacted the AGO, the BBB and a lawyer. Not a good place to do business with.Update: They lied to the law center that the AGOs office referred my case to. Demand to see their mechanics certification before they lay 1 finger on your car. He is not Buick Certified, he is not any car certified. He is the man going thru every car on their lot. They claim they can replace a motor for under $4K. That sir is impossible and a flat out lie.
