I tried to consign my wedding dress here years ago and when they gave it back the lace that attached to the shoulders was completely ripped off and the train was reattached all lopsided and haphazardly. If you care about your stuff just know they will NOT take care of it for you. You might as well light your dress on fire and save yourself the trouble. I published a picture of the top part of the dress where it was completely ripped from the bodice of the dress.

When I dropped my dress off after my first fitting, Lynn told me to expect to hear back from her after about two weeks regarding a follow up fitting. I called 3 weeks later to check in and hopefully schedule my next fitting (I am also very busy) and she was rude and short with me, and said “I will call YOU when I’m ready for you to come in.” I wish I had driven in and picked up my beautiful dress before she actually touched it.I gave her over two months with my dress, which she claimed was “plenty of time” and told her that I was flying out for my wedding on April 16th. I went to try on my dress after alterations the week before and it was too big. She told me to come back in on April 15th to pick it up. It was still too big and the bustle wasn’t done yet. I actually had to leave for the airport on April 17th, but didn’t want to make any plans for the day I was flying out for my wedding but she insisted that she wanted to alter it one last time. I agreed and showed up to this.As you can see, the dress is still too big in the photos and it would have fallen off it I weren’t holding it up. She stretched out all of the loops for my buttons and I had to have them redone. She hacked the lace on the side of my dress and left pink thread in that she used for alterations. I was so upset that I couldn’t look her in the eye, and had to leave for the airport so didn’t have time to argue with her. I paid her and left. She caused me so much unnecessary stress before my wedding, and the rushed alterations to correct the mistakes that she made cost me over $900. The dress itself was $1700 (I bought it elsewhere). If you want your dress to fit you on your wedding day, avoid this place at all costs. This is not a personal attack, and I wish her well as an individual. But if I can spare a single bride from anything comparable, sharing my experience is well worth it.

I had such a wonderful experience at Ladyslipper Bridal Outlet. Linda was extremely helpful with my last minute shopping for a marine ball dress. She was able to alter the dress and add on a jewel i had picked out within a weeks time. I can not express how grateful i am to have found Ladyslipper! Linda is also very flexible and patience, i would definitely return to Ladyslipper if i ever needed another dress or alteration! :)

Lynn is a wonderful seamstress for wedding gowns, bridesmaids and mothers of the bride and groom. She works with your schedule and completes the alterations in a faster time than I have dealt with previously with seamstress. Also if you are looking for a great deal on bridal gowns without the frills of a boutique, Lynn has a lot of gowns at wonderful prices.
