I feel like a kid in a candy store when shopping at Home Depot. You just want to buy everything and do a million DIY projects! The staff is very helpful and there is almost always someone there to help. I had a great experience when purchasing custom made blinds for our kitchen. He walked me through each step and ordered everything for me without a hitch the blinds were delivered shortly after and they are perfect!(I’ve included pics, Venetia, 1.5” vinyl) we’ve had them now for about a year and I love them! Easy to clean, look great, block out heat. Eventually we will get them for each room, pricey though, be ready to shell out about $100 a piece for custom fit. The reason for my 4 star rating and not 5 is because of the lack of variety in products offered, especially in the outdoor gardening center. Lowe’s beats them by a long shot in this department, but that’s for a different review! They also seem to be out of stock of a good amount of items whenever I go. (Although lately I believe it’s due to the pandemic and people doing more projects)

Disappointing I was looking for a small upright frost free freezer. The guy in appliances initially was busy. So searched for another associate who showed me what I was looking for and there was only the floor model available in store, he told me I needed to speak with the associate in appliances but that he would discount the freezer because it was the floor model and had some minor damage.I went over to the appliance counter and waited for the associate in the department, who informed me that the other associate was wrong. He said I could not buy the floor model and that I could go online and order one. He didnt offer or seem interested in placing that order for me.Once in my car, I went online and attempted to order one...only to discover the price online was about $40 more than the one in the store. I called the store appliance department back to inquire and he was apparently already with another customer and uninterested in assisting me again.I left very frustrated and went to Best Buy.

It seems like at home depots across the board, employees come off genuinely bothered if you ask them a question. The result is me walking around the store 9 thousand times trying to find something or figure out how to do something just so I dont aggrevate a worker 🤷🏻

I bought 4 bags of sand on the internet. I went to the store for curbside pickup. I checked in and waited for over a half hour. Then saw an employee walking around the parking lot, I asked him about my pickup. He went inside to check on it. A few minutes later he came back out and told me they would bring it to me in a few minutes. When the employee finally arrives with my 4 bags of sand I get out to help him load the 50 pound bags. Each bag had a significant tear in it. I asked him why and why couldnt they at least tape them !!! I was very unhappy with my experience. I wouldnt recommend the Home Depot in Leominster Ma. Anytime soon.

We visited a week ago to pick up our new lawn mower. We went to the customer service area and we were helped immediately. They sent someone out back to get it for us. We waited a very short time and in that short time another employee even checked on us to make sure we were being helped. Our lawn mower was wheeled up front on a dolly by AJ from pickup and he said he would bring it out to our car. I stupidly bought some stuff in the garden center and after seeing the size of the lawn mower box was worried about it fitting in my small SUV. AJ took everything out of the back of my car, showed me the trick to fold my seats completely flat 🤯 put the lawnmower in and rearranged everything to fit perfectly. I cant express how helpful he was and he did it all with a smile. Big thank you to AJ in pickup and I hope his manager sees this!!

We had plywood cut to shelf size to line our wire shelves. They came out perfect and no charge for having them cut!

It’s usually pretty busy at this location. Well stocked, friendly employees, nothing to complain about except maybe the sales pitches from the solar companies when you walk in. Check the website before you come in and get a feel for where you need to go and you’ll be alright.

Good customer service with comparable prices

These days with so many choices of where to get your hardware its hard to decide. I have been enjoying the Home Depot app a little bit more then the competitors, helping me find exactly what I need in the store quickly. most of the staff is very helpful and tries hard to get you what you need. some Ive met just point and run the other direction when I ask a question, but you cant expect perfection. I do shop it several different Home depots on a regular basis but always checking out the app before I go to make sure they have what I need in stock. Thats worked out very well so I highly encourage you to download their app.

Tried to buy a kitchen faucet that was on sale for $47 online. Go to store and they told me I had to buy it online even though I am standing there with the product in my hand! Absolutely the worst costumer service!

I bought an addition to my Milwaukee Packout.I received a warm greeting at the checkout line from an employee who served in the Marines, who was happy to assist me.

A pickup order for 2 air conditioning filters. Ordered specific brand. Two sizes. Got a substitute brand but correct size. HD gets a Fail on this one. Supposed to be convenient but it wasnt.

It was hot inside. No place to sit while did something for me.

Good place for DIY projects. Came in for dresser handles, they have a very large selection of colors, shapes and sizes. Fair with prices compared to other stores. Quuick and easy checkout when using self checkout.

Went to get flowers for the season. They had a great supply I if perennials, annual, shrubs, roses, veggies, and more. Plus all other is items for gardening.

Couldnt find the digital thermometer for indoor/outdoor reading I wanted. Did find good deal on Bona floor product set. $30 for cleaners, mop, the whole shebang. Separately would have been $50ish. Compared after purchase to other stores. Saved $20+. My HD coupon helped me save 20%, so actually paid less. Store seemed less stocked than I expected.

Not much to say, its a huge store with almost everything you could want for most projects. I still go to my local hardware store for most items, but sometimes you have to go to HD. The only thing I dont like is the ambush tables they have at the front entrance... like some back alley deal going on. Hey buddy.... ya you, you own your house? Come over here I got something you might like.

Very pleasant experience - thanks to the employees that were more than willing to assist with my purchase. The attitude of the employee makes all the difference. I would suggest that one was a senior citizen as I am. Just a welcomed experience.

The Home Depot is the Home Depot Im not into supporting huge companies like theres normally but they do have a good selection and its decently priced. When it comes to Lumber you can pick out a few good pieces if youre looking for small amount and you know that youre covered if something you buy there isnt up to snuff because it can always be returned.

Almost every single employee that was there was very helpful and knowledgeable despite how busy it was in the store. Even checking out they were friendly and accommodating. Compared to the home depot that I used to live near, it was a completely different and less stressful trip. You guys were great here!

Employees were very pleasant and fast to call upon the right department employee to help us out. We bought a stove and the person that helped us, she was totally professional, positive attitude, very enthusiastic and made us laugh at all times. She deserves a 150% credit on excellent customer service. We are extremely grateful to her and 300% satisfied with her work.

Such a dark, outdated, and dreary store. I waited 15 minutes at the paint counter, without a line, and was never acknowledged. An older female employee was yelling at an employee and created a scene. She was not treating him with any dignity or respect. He was basically demoralized in front of his co-workers and customers. Im only giving 1 star because most of the other employees are friendly and helpful. Store management needs to take a look at the negative way the paint department is managed.

I hate going to there pro desk to check out ....hate the automated check out ....I usually shop at Lowes they still have check out in the regular check out area..... its nicer with someone with a smile checking your items its more personable .... home depot will probably put little computer screens next in the ailes to help you find stuff.......then I wont go at all

Their plants have bugs and always half dying, theres plenty of staff walking around but nobody knows where to find anything. Once they even towed my car when I had it parked near the nursery trying to load plants into the trunk but didnt get there fast enough. I had to follow the tow truck in the back of a truck that I begged a ride from with all my plants in tow.

Always overcrowded and the employees are clueless most of the time. I avoid leominster depot at all costs

Normal helpful employees. Some actually help by providing good information. In other words if they dont know, they will tell you they dont know. Others think they know, tell you they do and you get to waste your time returning the item.

Great store, recently Ive found myself here a lot while starting fixing up an older house. Its very big so looking up what you need beforehand (price and location) is something that can help speed up the shopping trip.

Lots and lots of workers and noone that really knows where anything is lol.all good though i always find it and then some.

Still better than the other big home store in town. Covid-19 masking of employees could be better, e.g. get surgical-type masks for all employees (wraps arent effective), keep noses covered. Their expertise isnt as high as a few years ago.

For the first time, I used the curbside service. The people was great. They brought out my items and loaded it into my vehicle. Great service.

A typical home depot where the employees are always friendly and happy to help. Always happy to visit this store for whatever project I have going on. The checkout lanes can be a bit of a disaster sometimes due to the self checkout being now the majority and there not being any real effective way to queue.

My first delivery from the store placed online for a flat fee of $8.99 was delivered yesterday. It was accurate, prompt and without contact. Very much appreciated. Ill do that again. There are things you cant get through this service and theres a minimum order of $45 but we have a lot of projects this summer so this was ideal for us.

Personally hate this Home Depot when I’m looking for an appliance and need a workers assistance, I don’t get assisted until 30-40 minutes later. Ridiculous!!

Very busy location.. impossible to get anything ordered because of back orders due to covid. I usually get all my home repair stuff here and notice the prices have gone up compared to other chain type stores.. garden department could be better, employees are very friendly and helpful.

This location observed social distancing by limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. Most checkout counters are self serve and employees direct foot traffic at checkout. I recommend downloading the Home Depot app in order to find whatever youre looking for quickly.

I have always had a great experience with the staff at this Home Depot location. The majority of the time I submit the orders online for the buildings materials that I need for a project. I part over in the Pro Services area, and for the most part I am in and out in 5 minutes. For someone like myself that owns a business and needs to fit a lot of work in a day, their speed and professionalism is an asset for me.Due to the large quantity of items I ordered a pro services rep even helped wheel out one of the material carts to me truck to help me in the loading process. I know that it is a small gesture, but for someone like me it means the world for the small amount of time it saves me.Happy Customer

I decided to put together all of my spring repair projects early. I spent about $400 all with little stuff and hit just about every major department - lighting, paint, plumbing, bath garden, carpet, tile, drywall and whatever department cement is in. I estimate that no fewer than eight people helped me. They were all cheerful, helpful and informative even when the lighting fixture I was looking for was right in front of my face. Go now before you get trampled by the spring crowds.

Went in far a dishwasher because mine finally broke down today. I managed to find a GE dishwasher floor model with the exact same style as my kitchen (black appliances). I got the only black one they had. When they took it down off the shelf, it didnt have the sound resistant insulation. I asked where that was. Apparently, the majority of them didnt have the insulation and nobody knew why or where it went.. I nearly gave up and left the store. They did manage to find me one. I think they took it off the back of another machine. And none of the employees offered to help get it into the pickup truck. A customer in the parking lot saw the neeed and came over to help with that. I think Home Depot can do better.
