I never thought I would say this about a company but I am only giving them a 1 star because zero or negative stars is not an option to select. This company sold me a cpap machine that is now on recall and they could care less about me as customer or even a person. I called American Home patient and instead of getting help they told me to call the manufacturer. Okay fine you dont want to service the product you sold me I get it you dont care. So I then asked if I could buy a cpap machine since I did not want to use a recalled cpap machine that manufacturer says I should no longer use. They refused to sell me a machine told me that all there new machine go to new customers and I could not buy one from American home patient. Wow I guess they dont want to provide any customer service.
This is the most u organized place I have ever worked with. I get a different story from everyone I talk to. I need a copy of my bill to turn into insurance and no one seems to be able to get it to me. Now they told us they would be here today to pick up my equipment and no one ever called or showed. So they basically wasted my whole day waiting for you them. I did however get another (third now) telling me they have be notified by my doctor that I can complete my oxygen. They asked if they could schedule a pick up. I told them they were already scheduled to come today. Little did I know. Come on people. Give me a break. It can’t be that difficult
Cannot get billing issue straightened out! They sent me items without my consent and for the wrong equipment. I returned them to the local branch and told them to stop sending me items automatically. I received a bill (not a large amount, but its the principal!) for the items I returned and they cannot get it straight in their system. I have left calls for the manager to call me back and she will not return my calls. I will be contacting my doctor to find a locally owned equipment provider. They are a total mess!
My head gear and cushions for my c-pap were updated and they did not send the new updated equipment after I sent the old ones that had not been used back as they requested. They said they would send the new ones, but did not! They mistakenly gave me a credit instead of shipping the new ones. They could not send the new ones out for 3 to 4 more weeks. I had a difficult time getting them to allow me to even get a new cushion shipped. We will see if I get it .
Customer service is awful. They don’t return calls. After three months, we failed to get a portable concentrator ordered by our pulmonologist. It never did come. The only reason for giving two stars instead of one is the delivery guy, Anthony, is courteous and efficient. If you have a choice, don’t use American HomePatient.
How do you even get on their web site to pay your bill.. it shouldnt be that hard.. i call an call but seem like nobody know any thing..
If I could give them no stars I would. Terrible company.I used for CPAP supplies. The customer service and billing are a joke. They have no idea what they are billing. The Custer Service reps have no idea what they are doing. There is no way to get ahold of anyone that can give you clear answers. They won’t even provide billing details.Do Not Use this company. Buy supplies on Amazon and save money and frustration.
My wife has used this company and was pleased with them. Not anymore. Yesterday we felt like they would have been happy for us to just take the box with the new mask and leave. The guy didnt really even try to adjust it and then told her that it wouldnt need any adjustment. The sleep report showed different this morning. Hopefully the pulmonary suggestions will help us get it adjusted. Very disappoionted.
American Home Patient used to be a decent company with courteous, knowledgeable staff, but apparently they were bought out 9 months or so ago and everything changed. Difficult to get anyone to give you a correct answer and operators are just rude. Will be looking fora new company to order supplies.
I’ve waited patient 20-25 minutes twice today... simply trying to ask how to get the newest and most effective cpap machine for my husband. The one he has is 10 yrs old and cardiologist wants a new one... promised me a call back... not happening... we have Medicare and great insurance.. I’m determined to find another company.... this is so sad.. I wonder how people handle this without an advocate.... just awful... and the one star was my only choice
First this place doesn’t even deserve a one star but there are no zero my husband has had to have oxygen for the last 7weeks while recovering from an illness. It has been a nightmare he calls his order in for delivery on Thursday and every week he check on the morning of delivery and is told we don’t know what happen to the order. So this means he has to go in and pick it up. This is a delivery service for people who are compemized health wise and when he asked to speak to the manager excuses were made why he could not. So the last day he went into the office the we’re talking about him stating “ that he was the one” now how rude and great customer service is that. So the next step will be to get Medicare involved to see why we can get service as needed from this company. They will check into since they receive funding from them. Hopefully some will listen because management do not care.
My initial visit was great! But, since then, their customer service has been horrible. It took me three calls and getting mad to get someone to call me back when I had my initial problem. Although the person was attentive, (when someone finally called back) the suggestions he gave me have not helped. I called again, and was referred to a respiratory therapist who referred me back to the same number I called the first time - without providing any advice. Yikes!
The products and sales staff are outstanding, however, their billing, insurance, and customer service departments are abhorrent. Their voicemail boxes are full so that it is not possible to leave messages, and they do not record their written communications properly. So sad. What a shame.
I would rather shoot myself in the face with liquid magma than have to deal with the incompetence of this company any further. They gave me a broken machine, I returned it and waited 3 months for them to get me a replacement (which never happened.) Finally got tired and cancelled my account with them, paying the outstanding balance (which shouldn’t have existed since it was rent for a broken machine that was not in my possession.) Received my receipt showing my balance is $0, yet they continuously send me bills for an “outstanding balance” every month. When I’ve gone into the office (multiple times) to resolve this (because you can’t f-ing call the actual office without being rerouted to other incompetent people in another state) they said that it was because “their company was bought out and the new company must not have the billing records right.” I’ve been into the office 3 times and watching the lady scan and supposedly “email” the appropriate people to get this resolved but sitting here 6 months in the future and still getting invoices.Don’t even bother giving this place any business. If your health care provider sends you here, find a better health care provider.
If you are referred here please ask your doctor to consider something else, but beware Linde has several sub companies like all the reset of the 1 star google reviews.No direct call in line, it rings a call center in PA,Staff and place are suck back in the 70s.Parent company is Linde LLC or aka Linecare all an Irish held company. Supplies are farmed out to a Linde sub-company in Florida.
These people are so irritating that it has made me feel sick just having to call. I needed a wheelchair to leave hospital, hey promised it would be delivered before discharge. Hospital leant me one to go home. These people were called and they knew nothing and said it would take about a week to get the wheelchair.Got one elsewhere in an hour.Ordered oxygen tubes for nighttime use after 4 calls and a months time finally got what I needed.Every time I spoke to them new problem.I will be so glad I wont Have to deal with them as soon as they pick up the oxygen machine.
I was given a C-Ppap machine that looked like it had already been used, but what truly got me disgusted, was when I realized that he extra nose mask I had been charged for, was already opened (it should comes sealed). I did not see this until I got home and I tried the mask on my nose, it smelled of a strong body odor. Clearly this was a return that was passed onto me. At that point I became more suspicious and noticed that the flexible hose was sitting loose in the C-Pap bag and was not in a sealed package, the way it should be. I called the company in Lenexa and spoke with a man RT, he said if I am not happy I should bring the mask and hose into the office to get new ones. I explained that the office is way too far from where I live, and asked if they could just send me new sealed mask and hose, he would not accommodate this. At that point, I was so frustrated I went on Amazon and purchased my own. These people services are sub standard, they should NOT be in business.
Very nice staff . They are knowledgeable and treat customers with care and respect.
Poor customer service. Long wait times on hold. Smart-aleck customer service staff. Customer service staff that cannot answer simple questions. Unresolved issues.
