Our experience has been a complete and utter mess! We would never have enlisted their services if we had known how completely unprofessional, unresponsive and now EVASIVE they have become in resolving their lack of workmanship.We had to repair our hardwood floors because their installers dropped quartzite on our floors. We had to replace the dry wall in the area around our bar where they installed quartzite. And, most importantly, the quartzite countertops they installed all around the kitchen, kitchen island, bar and stove top backsplash areas are ALL permanently burned & stained because of their faulty cutting, etching, fabrication and installation services.They came to the house exactly twice to try to get rid of the staining via two different stain remover applications - nothing worked. They proclaimed that the stains were due to our stove top hood! Then tell us why the entire kitchen, island and bar area also have burns & stains?!Now they are completely uncommunicative and will not return an email. I have sent them countless pictures of the stains to no response. We have spent over $12,000.00 on our countertops and they look simply horrible. We have had independent 3rd party countertop installers come to look at GraniteTops work and they have stated simply that it is completely unacceptable and all on them to repair/replace.Under no circumstances whatsoever would I ever want this company coming to my house. Brutal. And, it is interesting the last review on Yelp was over 14 months ago...tells you something as well. Run.

We recently had a wonderful experience with Granite Tops. I love the countertop we purchased and having shopped around I know we got a great price. What prompted me to write however is the fact that they were very helpful, attentive to our vision and flexible / accommodating regarding installation. When they arrived to install they were here exactly when they said they would be and did a perfect job. I can’t imagine a better experience or a company that offers more variety. Oh, and they have a massive amount of remnants for smaller kitchens, bars and vanity tops. Big saving! 👍

I shopped for kitchen counter tops and back splash at several locations around town. Granite Tops/KC Tile offered very competitive prices and the entire staff was very patient with me and easy to work with. The staff was the main reason I chose this company. Everyone made this painful process much easier; the installers were professional and expert craftsmen. And best of all - the counter tops look great!

I originally called Granite Tops after another top shop was a no-show. Robert came out the very next day. He was courteous, professional, and experienced. I felt he was honestly going to get us the best price possible.After getting 2 more quotes, we decided to go with Granite Tops. I found every part of the experience with Granite Tops to be exceptional. From the first contact with Rob the owner, the expertise of Caryn and Dee and the intuitive eye of Courtney the designer. The price was competitive and the end result, complete satisfaction.

The process Granite Tops took from start to finish was top notch. We picked out the slab and Dee called us to have our two bathrooms measured for install. If you are wondering who to go through for granite look no further. They always communicated if there were any questions or concerns and price was competitive.

Granite Tops was recommended by our realtor. The single day installation finished at 7:30 pm on Day 6. The water to our house was turned off the entire time. Quality of product was slightly below average; staff was courteous but not able to get the job done more quickly.

We were doing a basement project and needed to find a granite remnant piece. We found the staff at Granite Tops to be very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the selection process, finding the right remnant piece that worked best for us. The installation was professionally done and looks great!

The process of selecting the granite, scheduling an appointment for measuring and installing and final run through of my selections was well handled by the courteous office personnel. The installation was well done with all discarded materials removed from the property and the area cleaned up.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Robert Opitz, owner of Granite Tops, for many years. His dedication to customer satisfaction is outstanding. He and his team are extremely knowledgeable in regards to granite, tile, design and installation and I have been very satisfied with the transformation of our master bath and with the granite counter replacement in our half bath. I would definitely recommend using Granite Tops!

They were great people who worked hard to ensure kitchen quartz tops were completed to my satisfaction. I get asked, “Who did your countertops?”, often.

There were chips in the granite I selected that could not be seen by the naked eye. The chips were filled with a filler that erodes when you wipe off the counter-top, so the chips later became exposed due to cleaning. I exchanged emails with Granite Tops. They said they would fix the granite once I made final payment. I made the final payment. The chips have not been fixed. Please review the fine print in the contract. They said my contract states that if you take them to court, the customer must pay all court fees.

I have used Granite Tops in two houses. In my current home they have done several projects. Professional and really take care of the customer. I would recommend them highly.

A very positive experience and we love our countertops. We did both the master bath and kitchen and they came out wonderful. There was a little hiccup with the bathroom backsplash but Caryn handled and got it fixed in a matter of a couple days. Couldnt ask for better customer service and professionalism! We also ordered tile and both Caryn and Courtney walked us through the overwhelming choices of tile to find the perfect fit. We are fixing up this home to sell it and we will be back when we buy the next house.

Excellent experience and most importantly we love the countertops. I found the company by doing an internet search, reading reviews, and checking out their website. The owner Robert Opitz came to our house and put together an estimate and explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. The price was fair and most importantly everything looked wonderful after his crew was finished. The crew was professional and treated the house with respect. Robert even came out during the install to make sure everything was perfect. Great company. I fully recommend.
