Very large and cute quilt shop. There is a great variety of fabrics, patterns, and tools. This shop has a huge classroom area that was being used for a retreat the day I was there. There is an area with comfy chairs in the front corner for your non-quilting companions. The shop has a lot of unique items and things I have not seen in other shops. Definitely a must go to shop if you were in the Kansas City area.

For quilting supplies from thread to needles to classes, they have most everything you need. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This place was a breath of fresh air after facing the crowds at a big box fabric store where we were #48 and they were now serving #2. This place is warm, quiet, well-stocked with quality fabric, with a super-friendly vibe. The clerk asked our name. I’ll pause here to let that last sentence soak in. I was already a big supporter of small business. But this latest experience has made me swear off Big Fabric for good.

Good store but the online quantity does match what is in the store. Call if you are looking for something specific.

They had everything I needed and their checkout process is much faster than a lot of other places. Why to get any better they would have to give out free pony rides!

This shop is the absolute best! I live 3 hrs away and when I go to Shawnee I go there. Wonderful selection of fabric and ideas to make quilts and projects. Friendly and helpful. Also classes. AAA+

Fabulous little shop filled with marvelous fabrics and ideas. I love their vintage fabric section! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Cant wait to start attending some of their many events.

This place was phenomenal! If you are a quilter this is where you need to shop. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and more than ready to help but never pushy. They have a wide assortment of fabric including new lines, batiks, retro, seasonal, baby, flannel, a large color selection, and even a beautiful collection of wool. They have kits ready for quilts that are on display. A large menu of classes and a beautiful instructional area to work in. I wasnt in need of thread or notions today but I did notice a wide selection available of both. I went to 3 other stores today before I found this one. This is by far my favorite in Kansas City and ranks in my top 5 Ive ever visited. I will go back!

This is one of the best quilt shops Ive ever shopped, always well staffed with knowledgeable personnel. Even though it is a somewhat small store they have a great selection of fabrics & notions. The owners, Susan & John are a pleasure to know.
