Stumbled upon Ditto by complete accident. It is a cute store with a great selection. Found this gorgeous yellow sweater from All:Row (a new to me brand) for $20 and these adorable animal print tennis shoes for $24! (I wear a size 10 and its had to find cute shoes!)They also have a decent Plus Size collection. I cant wait to my sisters to come to KC so we can visit here as well.

Great stuff! I love shopping here. I always fine tons of things, and the prices are very reasonable.

Name brand clothing ..inexpensive good place to buy

The first time I went here it was to sell clothing. They were really busy at the time and so I was told to leave my bag and they would call me. I picked up the items they didn’t want a couple days later. The second time I went to sell the associate seemed irritated that I showed up right when the store opened. I was going to drop off a small bag of items and pick it up in the afternoon, but she insisted that they could not keep it. I told her I had done it before but she just argued with me. It wasn’t a big deal to come back, however I was upset by the way she treated me. I work in retail so I know how difficult the job is but I always treat people with respect. On a happy note, I have found some very unique pieces that I will wear for a long time. I will not sell here again but I will browse the selection every once in awhile.

After reading these reviews, I think Ill pass on my sellers appt. I have a new pair of 920.00 Gucci shoes I dont want to be offered 16.00 for. Thanks everyone for the info.

I went in today to sell some pairs of jeans. Really nice American Eagle jeans. The girl spent maybe 2 minutes looking at them and told me they couldn’t buy them because there were stains. I take them back to my car and look... there are no stains. They’re light wash jeans so can see stains pretty easily. There are no signs of wear either.

The staff has improved over the years. Always find a good selection, but prices are unpredictable. Great for a quick wardrobe refresh any time of year.

Good selection to buy from. The down side is that they are extremely picky when buying back clothes. I had several not so nice experiences here a couple years ago with two really young snotty employees that worked there. But that seems to be in the past. The past few times I’ve been in recently, the girls working were super nice, helpful and down to earth. Customer service matters!

Have been in the store a couple of times, there merchandise is okay, nothing great, but after hearing all of the bad reviews as to how they treat you when you bring in clothes to sell to them, I plan to keep my very nice clothes and sell them online, i am glad i read the reviews. If they do business like this, I am sure they will not be in business for long. You are supposed to treat your customers with respect or you wont have any.

Huge variety of clothing. Somewhat pricey for used clothing, shoes and purses.

Decent selections. Not a lot of mens options but thats to be expected. They dont buy much back, but again their mens section is small.

Like coming here for nice men’s brand clothes and it being at least half the price. Have sold some of my clothes here. I recommend looking around at the clothes if you plan to sell. Store credit is more than cash credit so if you might want to look around before taking less for the cash

Bought a rather expensive purse in there a few wks ago. Have always been very pleased with things that I have gotten there before. But this purse already has frays on the shoulder straps, which, I get it, they sell used items, but this purse was near new, so i didnt mind giving $50+ for it, but never expected it to do this!

Wanted to sell my husbands 100 dollar Jordans that he wore twice and they offered 6 dollars for them. Then when I decided to keep them the cashiers gave a dirty look like me saying no was wrong. Better off keeping things or putting them on offer up.

Called on 10-26-18 around 445 pm an associate named Brenda answered. I ask if she could give me a little more information about their company, she politely said she was not there.....then hung up on me. How rude!! My mother has passed and I was look I g for a place to sell her very nice dress clothing. But I will not buy nor sell anything at this establishment. Teach your employees etiquette.

Just curious, Are you folks better than anyone that comes in to shop be cause were shopping 2nd hand? Is it a test to see if you can eventually run out of customers? Because they will all finally decide they wont step foot back in your business, even if you were giving name brand clothing away? Convinced you have family or neighbors only giving you any good reviews.

Great variety. I bought some tops and scored some great tennis shoes for my son.

The associate did not greet me, though she did glance my way when she saw I had a bin of clothing. I brought it over to the counter and as she said nothing to me I asked if they were buying or if I needed an appointment. She looked through my items as I browsed the store (I found some decent things but nothing great). When I came back up to the front counter, she said she could take 2 items, both higher end name brand purchases less than a year old and one new with tags, for $6 cash total. I kept the clothes.

Ive shopped here a few times, and they have a great selection! There is a lot to look at, which I dont mind because its actually organized very well for the volume they have. The sales people are friendly and will help if you ask them for a room or outfit suggestions. I usually need dress shirts for work and theyve had name brands at great prices. Ive also sold to other Ditto stores and they always give me more than other resale shop when my stuff isnt too used.

I have been on the buying and selling side of this business. They will insult you with what they accept and what they are willing to pay you for it. Then turn around and price it for 4 times what they paid you. Still less expensive than retail but not by much.

I thought this was a great store and Ive had good luck there. Very reasonable prices with usually good quality items. I go there frequently and usually find something.

Waste of time and effort going here. I had 3 big boxes and the employee unfolded all the clothes and shoved them back in the boxes and said she couldnt buy anything because she was looking for something specific. Would have been nice to know in the first place before I folded everything nicely and broke my back carrying the boxes in.

Ive been going here intermittently for years. Pretty decent selection at good prices. My only complaint is that the staff is chronically aloof. Ive never had them be outright rude or anything, but they rattle off a greeting in this scripted way when you walk in, and then theyll take a loooong time to notice that you need assistance at the checkout or changing rooms. When they DO finally notice you, they arent any good at making up for the wait with some friendly eye contact or a smile or even just some flustered energy that conveys oops I didnt see you there. Their attitude is just all SIGH - customers, like *whateverrrrr*. Personally, I think it makes the atmosphere somewhat uncomfortable to shop in...

I wish there were an option for negative stars. I have tried giving this store chance after chance and every time I have been let down. I have been in the store 10+ times and each time the customer service was subpar. The associates in the store dont speak. They dont ask if you need help with anything and they brush past you as though you arent there. I took my friend there this past weekend because she had never been. We received the same treatment Ive experienced every other time Ive been. She ended up putting her items back and we walked out. I dont think speaking with a manager will change anything. Ive been in the store while a manager was there and she acted just like the rest of them. I think they forget that they are a resale store...this isnt Tiffanys. Stop looking down your noses at people.

Worst experience I have ever had with customer service at that store.My friend I went in to sell some clothes. They had one or two customers purchasing when we got there - no one selling. There were two girls working and the one greeted me and went to look through my basket to see if they were going to buy anything. She got halfway through the basket and had to go up front to check out one of their customers, because the other employee had left.The cashier helping me stayed up front even after her customer left. The other girl got back with some food for them and they both starting eating behind the counter.They continued to eat and talk while my friend and I walked around the store, waiting for one of them to finish looking through my basket. They never did.They both looked at me on two separate occasions while my friend and I were waiting. We still didnt say anything, assuming they were going to get back to my clothes soon. Another half hour later they hadnt moved from the front counter, hadnt said anything to us, and didnt have one customer.I put my clothes back in my basket and left the store and they both gave me a dirty look as my friend and I left.I will be calling to speak to a manager tomorrow.

I shop here all the time, they always have what Im looking for at a reasonable price and the staff are always happy to help if I ask. I love it!!!!

This is a resale clothing store. The store has a small inventory compared to a platos closet or clothes mentor. The quality of the used clothing is good but they have many of the same clothing items as a platos closet/clothes mentor at much higher prices.

Definitely the most reasonable resale shop in the KC area. I do a lot of shopping at resale stores and this ditto has the best prices I have seen. They have a lot of nice brands for very cheap, and a wide selection to choose from. I went in and got some polo shirts, a Northface jacket and some jeans for a price that I wouldve had to pay at least 3X more at any other store. Not sure where the negative customer service reviews are coming from, because in my experience the 2 girls working there were very helpful and respectful of my time. I dont usually write a lot of reviews but the deals I got here deserve something in return. 2 thumbs up for Ditto in Lenexa!!

They went above and beyond to let me take a pair of jeans to my sales rep to try on before buying them!

Im giving it a three mainly because they have a nice selection. This store has a small selection of girls size 8 through 16, womens size 2 through 3x, teen sizes, and mens small tip 3x. They have a nice selection of designer handbags and accessories even a fun light up KC Chiefs hat!! My second reason for rating it a 3 is the buying process. I sold 26 name brand items including Lululemon, Columbia, Nike ect only received 78$ thats 3$ an item. That is extremely low when they put price tags like 68$ for lululemon athletic pants just like I sold then today. So I made 3$ for my lululemon athletic pants and they will sell then for 40$ -68$. Doesnt seem Im getting a fair cut????? I wont sell here again however if Im looking for a discounted designer I might check it out.

Actually has some really nice clothes for guys too.

HORRIBLE STORE to shop at or try to sell our used clothing. The few times I have been in this store it has never been a good experience. I took some nice clothes in a few months ago and they did not except anything. Today I brought in more clothes just to give them another chance. I was not greeted at the door and I finally found a worker in the back. She did not take long to take a look at my clothes and I really appreciated that. However, she said they could not take any of my really nice blouses (some were unworn) and dresses. I asked why just so I could understand. She stated I had clothing that are not brands they take and there were stains one some. I then asked where were the stains and she couldnt find were they were. For a worker to lie to a customer about stains when its brand new and never worn it is very rude and selfish. This store needs to have their logo We only buy clothes of certain brands and then make a list of what they accept. So many clothes there are not attractive and not worth buying. I will absolutely never give business to them or step foot in their store again.
