I love this place!! Ive never bought a wig that I didnt like from here. The quality is better than everywhere else Ive been locally. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I dont think Ill ever buy hair anywhere but here ever again!

Yesterday, I was treated so rude and disrespectful for simply asking a question. This business advertised the following discount (please view the attachments) but refused to honor it when I got to the register. When I asked for an explanation, they refused to explain why I couldn’t receive the discount on my item that clearly fit their sign. They argued that item did not qualify for the discount because it was a half wig. Nowhere on my item did it say it was a half wig (again, please view the attachments). The young lady that assisted me agreed that my item fit but was afraid to disagree with her manager (understandable). At no time was I ever rude to anyone nor was I disrespectful. As a customer, I simply wanted an explanation. I even asked the manager to show me what items did qualify for the discount and he refused. I am a frequent customer there and I spend a lot of money in that store. I could not believe that I was being treated in such a horrible manner. To add insult to injury I had brought a friend in with me that had never been to the store. She too was appalled by the way I was being treated. After expressing how they made me feel as a customer and letting them know I’d review about my experience, I was told that if I didn’t like it, I could leave. And that’s just what I did. This company doesn’t have to worry about me returning to a store that does not know how to treat their consumer respectfully. Save your money and shop somewhere that cares. Lastly, like they have done many others that have tried to write honest reviews about their experiences, they found me on Facebook and blocked me from writing my review which is why I am posting it here. It wouldnt surprise me if they acted in retaliation in some sort of way, seeing that it is very clear that they are very unprofessional at Star Beauty.Thank you for your time.

Entirely too unprofessional. Staff is lazy and rude from management on down. They say one hour for curbside pick up but twice I haven’t gotten a call because it’s being fulfilled the next day. Can’t identify staff from customers because the staff looks like they just rolled out of bed. Will start driving to the city from now on

Way over priced 35.00 for a box of glove lol Covid 19 is not relevant anymore. So they have the gloves priced 3 times as much as Sally’s go there. All of there stores do price gauging and are in Black Community’s they are exploiting them and nothing is being done. However this doesn’t effect me but they definitely need to be turned in for this behavior.

Out of all Star Beauty Business Establishments gone to, this one by far along with the one in Independence are the best. Not only does this location have Absolutely Beautiful workers but, they have personalities to match their Beauty and know how to talk to customers on the phone and in person. They are very professional and do an exceptional job and exceeded beyond what was expected period! They also know their products well and are very patient and courteous and were the main reason why I drove from kcmo all the way out due to their approach with customers and on top of that are very Beautiful at that!

They were great and helpful doing curve side pickup. You can place an order online and theyll call you if its any trouble with your selection. You may have to pay the difference if they have to find a replacement product of course. I will definitely shop here again.

They have everything you need for all hair types, especially Black haircare. They have hair products, wigs, weave, makeup, scarves and more! Star can get a little bit pricey on some items though.

Staff was super helpful. Only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because the person helping me wasnt wearing a mask and that is pretty irresponsible with the current climate.

I have never had such rude customer service in my life not only did they Did not acknowledge me When I came into the store but they never once came and offered assistance being the only customer in their store then when Ive got frustrated because no one would help me I went in cash out with the few items that I did have and they rudely didnt stopped their conversation to properly greet me or tell me thank you I will not be returning to this star beauty I am it so disappointed

I purchased a nail drill from this location and when I got home it was already used and then they refused to give me a refund offering me store credit so I could purchase another used item. Disgusting

Gf said the place was awesome. Gave her great deals as she purchased several items. I think shed want to go back again. I love the way my girl looks after these visits, actually I prefer the way she looks after a visit to the Lions Den. Lol....

Its okay. There are a couple girls that work in there that are amazing. The people that own it are never around. Sometimes its hard to get help

They have anything you might want for maintenance of your entire person but the manager is rude I was charged twice and he didnt want to fix the problem with my debit card so I had to wait until it posted and was paid too them. This could have been fixed in 3 minutes and they would still have a loyal customer, if you decide to shop there use CASH only

Horrible customer service. Employee turnover rate appears to be high. Always some new unhelpful person in the store. They do say hi when you come in but they do not offer assistance even the manager is lazy. You can’t tell the employees from the customers because the employees are dressed in tank tops and shorts. Half the time they’re on their cellphone. This store has good deals but the customer service is bad

Just left the store. I was at the cash register going to purchase an item in the store for $299.99. The salesgirl went in the back to get a brand new product (wig) versus the product on display that is used for customers to try on before purchasing. The salesgirl came back and indicated they were out of the product and they only had the display. The Asian owner at the cash register said he could give me 10% off. I told him I needed a little more than 10% off, because the display product was ratty, dull looking, and frizzy from many people handling it and trying it on. The owner told me I was the only person that ever tried it on the product and the store policy is not to let people try on the products before purchasing.I told him that was very unbelievable, because how would a customer know if the coloring, length, or texture was right for them before they purchased the product. I left without buying the product, because the Asian owner told me to leave, because I questioned him. So, I leave in total disbelief!Well, I’m sitting in my car writing the review and a cop knocks on my car window. The Asian owner called the police on me. I can’t believe this. I have a PhD and two Master Degrees and l’m being treated like a common criminal. This is a total NIGHTMARE!! PLEASE DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!Business Owner (Asian Guy on the cash register), I just wanted to let you know you LOST a BIG BIG sale! After you harassed me in the parking lot with the police, while I was in my car writing a review on your store, I left when I finished writing. I went to AQ Beauty Supply on 8708 Blue Ridge Blvd and spent approximately $500 in total sales! The owners who are also Asian was very friendly, nice, sincere, helpful, as well as, advocated excellent customer service. P.S. They had a surplus of product in their store, so I didn’t have to offer to purchase the only product available that the store used as a display for the public to try on!

This place is my go to for gigis wax, spa quality stuff for a great deal! They have affordable and adorable earrings and they arent the cheapy ones thatalot of people are allergic to bc they are plated with 14k gold and real sterling silver. Absolutely gigantic andd gorgeous mink eyelashes that I typically but at Dillards, I got here for a third of the price. The only complaint I have is theyre not open until 10 am and close at 8pm.

Well since this company unprofessionally deleted my honest facebook review and blocked me from commenting, Ill say it here.So the hair is terrible quality! DO NOT BUY. They claim that its 100% human hair but its not. Ive spent hundreds of dollars here and the hair ends up stiff and tangles within a week! They make it seem like good quality, but what they do is switch the hair out for the lower grade stuff and put it in the higher grade packaging and charge you for the higher grade. They are SCAM ARTISTS!! PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

Ive been going to this store since they opened. Bought alot of products. Just 2 weeks ago ago I purchased a $6.00 bottle of glue, apparently the glue was old an clumped as I pulled up the brush. I had my receipt for exchange I was told refunds in 7 days...I didnt ask for a refund, I wanted it replace along with me doing other shopping. I took the bad glue thru it away said for 6.00 you just lost a customer. Ive spent ova 300.00 in that store.In response. ..I came in with the bottle an receipt ..as I said, after I was turned down I threw the product an receipt in the trash outside your door.. all I wanted was good product I paid for.
