Best haircut and service EVER! I took my Mom, who is in a wheelchair and on oxygen along so she could get a haircut too! They even gave her a blanket because she was cold!

My stylist Sunny is great, she does a wonderful job with my haircuts and highlights, this review is in no way about her wonderful work. It is, however, about the new GM here who doesnt wear her mask properly or enforce her customers wearing them either (pictures submitted). I make appointments for times when traffic is low because my spouse is immunocompromised, and this irresponsible behaviour undermines the hard work of all the stylists who do the work to ensure their customers are following the rules to keep all of us safe. I was so disheartened to learn this was the general manager too, it seems the leadership change was not for the betterment of this location which is a shame.

I saw Taylor G. for the first time a few days ago. I was trying to find a new stylist after a bad experience at a different Beauty Brands. Taylor did an AMAZING job! She listened to what I was looking for, and my highlights and trim were spot on! She was very knowledgeable and thorough. I will definitely be back 😊

Made an appointment to get my hair cut and colored. I had been going to the same stylist for 15 years, but decided to give this place a chance. Normally my hair takes a little over an hour, at Beauty Brands it took well over 3 hours. I didn’t mind, because I thought it would be worth the wait. After my hair was dried, I could still feel the color product in my hair, making it feel extremely chalky and dirty. I was also charged with $60 worth of primer and color protection that I was not asked about and did not want. So I ended up paying $150 for chalky hair and a very uneven haircut. I eventually went back to my regular stylist and she told me that this stylist from Beauty Brands left a straight line of bleach in my hair, leaving my hair extremely damaged. I will absolutely never go back. I have debated writing a review for a while, but after being told what a terrible job this stylist did, I felt the need to write one.

Helpful staff and found the products I was looking for.

Disappointed, was looking for a new stylist waited 20 minutes was told when I arrived they were just finishing up and told 15 minutes later the same. Left at 20 minutes past my appointment time as I did not want to get rushed.No one seemed to care. No haircut.

Great experience. They respect the social distancing recommendations, temperature was taken before my service and my stylist was very kind in explain get schedule and restrictions she is putting in place for herself to keep everyone safe. I was nervous to go, but everything was handled amazingly well.

The online booking service doesnt work very well. They couldnt squeeze in a kids haircut. Just overall disappointed.

Couldve gotten the same color/cut experience at great clips and saved a bunch of money. Paid extra for a master stylist and was not happy. She didnt charge for a haircut but the finished look didnt look like the picture I showed her.

My girlfriend got a haircut here and my girlfriend asked them to leave the back long because shes trying to grow it out. The stylist couldnt bear to give her a mullet because she doesnt like them, even though thats what was requested.

I generally tend to shy away from chain haircutting/styling/beauty/salon type places, but I had a great experience at Beauty Brands. I only got a haircut / beard trim so I cant comment on their other services offered, but a stylist named Courtney A. helped me out big time. Im a picky guy when it comes to my hair because I have what stylists have called a double cowlick. Ive found that they have an extremely hard time with it, and it sometimes takes them 3 or 4 tries to get it right, if at all. When its not done right, my hair looks like Wolverines hair (from X-Men) after about a week, with the back corners longer than the rest and shooting out from my head. I told Courtney about it and she was knowledgable enough to cut my hair with that in mind. Courtney got it right on her first try because her attention to detail was so great, she took her time, and made sure I was satisfied. It is now 3 weeks later and I still dont have Wolverine hair!!I was very impressed so I let Courtney trim my beard, something I normally wouldnt allow other stylists to do, except maybe a barber, I generally do it myself. But she was spot on there too, my beard lines were straight, and the cut was even from my ears to my chin to my nose.I had a very pleasant experience wtih Courtney and I will definitely set up another appointment with her for my next cut / beard trim. I typically do not write reviews either, but I want everyone to know that shes a great stylist, even if it means she might be too booked up to cut my hair!!-John

Had a gel mani and standard pedi done by Alina. She did a very professional job and displayed high level customer service skills. I would definitely have her do it again. Plus, she told me to call and come in to get a fix or touch up if needed before my wedding next weekend. That definitely put my mind at ease.

This is my first time going to Beauty Brands, I was nervous because I have really long hair, and my experiences in the past at other salons has always been that they never cut it like I want and always cut off more than I want, but the stylist I had did an amazing job and cut it just like I wanted and cut just the amount off the length I asked. She did long layers and texturized my hair, it felt so much lighter and the layers looked amazing, but I still had my length, I will definitely be going back, the stylist I had was Tiffany, I would recommend her to anyone especially those with long hair, shes an amazing stylist

Calee does such an amazing job with facials! Going in, I had such bad acne and was absolutely embarrassed to go out without a full face of makeup. I just finished my 3rd facial with her, and there is so much improvement! She takes the time to really address your needs as a client, and will give you great product recommendations after. I always look forward to my facial because it is truly the most relaxing hour and a half of my life. Thank you Calee!!

It was my first time using their Salon services. I will never be going back for the Salon again. Had my hair cut and dyed. The cut was nice. The dye I paid $65 for and it only lasted 1 week! After my first wash the color drastically faded and after 1 week of getting it dyed my hair went back to its natural color. So I paid $65 for 1 week of color. I always get my hair dyed the same color and have never had this issue with any other Salons or box colors. When I called them after the first wash they said to come back in within the week and they would do a Toner. After the week I would have to pay for it. I explained to them that because of my work schedule I am very busy. They said that is all they can do. I was not going to waste another hour of my time for them to fix their mistake. Now I am needing to find another place to get my hair dyed again. Do not go here unless you are just getting a cut.

Non existent retail help at most times . And unhelpful salon staff refusing to answer questions . The salon has cockroaches in it as well as the store front, which is extremely unsanitary. Company is going bankrupt and I doubt the remaining stores last very long .

Went in to do an eye brow wax. the lady did an awful job. They are awkwardly straight and very un even now Im waiting for them to fill out again so I can get them redone and until then I just have to deal with how bad they look. Waist of money since I have to have them done again

We had such a great experience, I had to tell everyone! I scheduled an appointment for my 18 y/o daughter at Beauty Brand by Oak Park Mall last saturday and was able to get in the same day. The stylist that they assigned to us was Holly Mikkelsen. She said she was new, but she looks experienced and very stylish. Holly gave us an amazing consultation and made some great suggestions that we ended up doing. My daughter got a cut and partial highlights, both of which look amazing. Holly suggested using layers to make it look better, and they definetly look amazing. I cant reccomend her enough, I keep telling everyone, because my daughter gets compliments every where she goes now! I know her scheduled days fill up fast, so make an appointment quick! Also, I was really surprised how cheap the services were...

I seriously tried giving this location a chance by going back 4 different time each time working with a new stylist. After my last appointment i wont be going back. Not very good a cutting curls.

I was walking by and the owner told me she would call the cops on me for soliciting and we were only handing out flyers and never even went into her store.
