I just bought a part for my daughters car. LA and Charlie were so helpful in finding the part, came out and installed it for us, and ran a free diagnostic on her car because the engine light came on and the dealer wanted a fortune to run the same test. I have always had a great experience. 15 stars for LA and Charlie!

Great service from the staff, including some easy instructions to follow to replace the battery in a vehicle I had just inherited. Ive never seen a battery located under the back seat instead of under the hood before and while the procedure was simple, there were a few differences from installing a battery under the hood. I very much appreciated the help.

Outstanding! State of the Scan tool just plug it in and take the receiver in where they gave me a two-page analysis of the problem and what it needed to be done. The next day at nine a.m. I got a call from a young lady who found my credit card in the register. I was so ecstatic about their help that I left without it. As a frequent user they had me in their database. Great performance by all concerned. Thanks again !

Went here instead of my usual place, (OReilly Auto Parts.) Very, very, very impressed, the cashier was actually very knowledgeable.. they are easier to talk to and never to busy like the workers at OReillys. I will be going back to this store...

I visited Advance Auto today to find out that the cap for my master cylinder was off and I took that truck on the highway brakes work fine. Adam and Mark the two gentlemen at Advance Auto pretty much on 95th and Monrovia were a tremendous Aid today explanation point! LOL

For someone thats shops online, you cant beat advance prices. Theres always some kind of discount. Sometimes 15% and sometimes more. Buy online and pick up in the store in 30 minutes or less.

The guys are always so helpful here. Ward is especially great at his job. Hes transparent about the process and always has great mechanic advice. This is my first stop every time my car starts acting funny.

Dealer offered to tow me, but your staff gave me some tips and I finally got the battery to charge enough to make it back to your store. Good: After a frustrating afternoon of trying to find a battery for my Toyota Tacoma, they had the exact replacement in stock and ready. Bad: even though they advertise free battery installation, including a big sign right on the window, they did not offer to help install the new battery I purchased.

The staff is helpful but I had trouble with the products they sold me. Out of a set of spark plugs and socket wrench, the wrench was the wrong size and one of the new spark plugs showed obvious damage from a previous owner. Both of my issues could have been prevented with a quick exam at the register.

Dont buy your battery here. They do not honor their warranty. Chris the manager very unskilled on vehicle batteries and the diagnostic machine that they have does not diagnose correctly. Went to the dealership and had it checked, battery is no good. They wont take a dealer diagnostic with way more diagnostic experience than these workers have. So Im just out for now. Will contact district manager tomorrow. Now waiting on Brad the district manager to call me back.

I would give no stars if I could. The service I got from a bigger guy named Danny, according to the receipt, was appauling. I decided to come try and spend money at this auto parts store, but on 12/19/2017 at about 12:00P.M. Danny decided to instead ask me 20 questions about who I was and immediately made it obvious that he didnt want to help me out in any way shape or form. I merely said that I was with a dealership and he flipped out having to take time out of not only my day, but also my boss day just to make sure that I was who I said I was, even though I showed my ID, my company card, and offered to give the tax id information (any one of these things is usually accepted). This Danny person clearly does not care about his customers or he would have just taken my money without bothering my boss, or instead taken the various forms of id I had. Unfortunately, since Danny did decide to ruin 15 minutes out of my day and my bosses day just so he could be sure, casually saying that its no big deal that he was taking my precious time out of my day to come to that store to spend money. Well, actually, Danny, it is a big deal, such a big deal that I decided to spend the next 15 minutes after-wards telling everyone about how bad my experience here was. If you come to an auto parts store for the customer service, you wont get it from Danny here at the Advanced Auto Parts in Lenexa.

Bob, at Advance Auto Parts, can you read this just like you told me, extremely rude and disrespectful, DO NOT SHOP at this place, go across the street and go to ORilleys they warranty there products for any reason unlike Advance Auto that blames everything on Wear & Tear and so its not covered under there Lifetime Warranty. Bob here needs to be FIRED, oh and Bob sue me like ya told me in the store.
