This is the one of the most well organized Jewel locations Ive ever seen. Everything was very well stocked and they have endless options. They have things you didn’t think you’d need until you walk in. Theyre preprepared dinners are delicious and fantastically portioned. They have delicious stuffed mushrooms among other things! I highly recommend!

Very clean and organized store they have about legit everything you need from produce to gift cards, outside patios, medicine even flowers and other gifts but what mostly impressed me is the the very very very clean floors im talking about shine to it see ur reflection damn near I was very impressed 👍👍

Store is clean, restrooms are also clean, the area by the Deli was clean and the food was looking very good and appetizer. I was in the Deli department waiting for about 10 minutes, I have to call somebody to help the guy and a very polite lady came quickly and help us with our food.

At the height of the pandemic I was doubling masking because my husband was fighting cancer so I had to be extremely careful. I went into Jewel in Lemont as I was coming in a deli worker had her mask on her chin while talking to a person who might have been a supervisor. I told her that her mask wasnt keeping anyone safe. I was almost done when I saw the day manager with his mask off talking to a employee by the flower department. I told him he was the second person I seen that had a mask off he did proceed to put it back on. I was very upset and I left and reported him. Granted I might have over reacted but because of my health problem and my husband I couldnt take any chances. So I didnt return for quite a while and when I did the manager was in the customer service desk and leaning back and staring me down with a grin on his face that I took as trying to intimidate me. I want him to know he didnt intimidate me I am a strong women who wouldnt let a man bully me.

The store is one of the cleanest and most pleasant to shop within this brand. The prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores, but the sales make up for it.

Visit to Jewel today was great, they had everything we needed and staff were friendly and helpful! Also, I was very pleased to see that Jewel is still requiring masks and that all customers that I saw were following the guidelines.

I hate grocery shopping! I have had the cashier Dylan twice and both times he has started fun conversations that left me smiling and happy.

I instacart for a living and shop here weekly for my personal use. The items are always easy to find and the donuts are delicious. The produce quality is great, with very fresh fruits and veggies of all kinds, shapes, and sizes. Overall, I’d definitely try to shop here—if you can!

Yesterday I had a very unpleasant experience with one of the cashiers in Jewel Osco by the name of Donna. Right when I walked up to the cashier she did not bother to say hello and had an attitude, me and my friend were purchasing a wine bottle, when she asked for an ID my friend provided her an ID that was valid, but Donna said she could not take it and immediately put the wine bottle aside and said she cant sell it. She never had a problem with her ID before and was always accepted, even in this same Jewel Osco just at a different cashier. When we asked to speak to the manager she did not even bother to call them over and continued having an attitude. I am very disappointed as this isnt the first time Ive encountered this problem with the same cashier, this has happened before with my mother who as well provided a valid ID and was not able to purchase alcohol.

I am personally disgusted that Jewel is using the COVID global pandemic as a reason to use employee’s faces as an advertisement billboard by making them wear “Monopoly” face masks.I would have rather seen them wear something to raise money for charity.

I enjoy shopping at the Lemont Jewel-Osco! The store is clean and well maintained. The staff is usually always very helpful and friendly! And Rob the cashier adds a personal touch with conversation and friendliness in this cold, covid, people-avoidance world.

This Jewel is decent from what I have seen. Is this the Jewel Josh H. works at as Manager of the Meat Dept.? He disowned his Mom because of her physical/environmental disabilities...resulting in financial hardship for her...6/6/20, to make himself look good in front of his Uncle, stated something abuse. These males stick together as his Uncle has been taught well by his father having nothing to do with his sister since forever.

Nice place, they only sell Christmas stamps this time of year, love it!

The Lemont Jewel is pretty well kept up. However, their shelves are getting bare because of the spike in COVID-19 spike.

I really prefer this location as things generally are very neat and usually produce is very fresh. Just watch your dates on your dairy products. Today I was looking to purchase a half gallon of Lactaid and the expiration date was for 2 days ago. The carton right behind it had an expiration date for a month from today. Somebody missed that. Overall very good quality otherwise!

There was an old man named scott about 6-7 feet with gray hair and a thick gray beard. This is the worse cashier. He must be having a bad day cause all he complained about was how many bags was being used. This person needs a serious talking to in customer service.

They have a very disappointing bakery. I bought a cake from the fancy case. I asked if it was fresh. The lady said yes. We cut into it all the frosting came off and was hard as a rock. Cake was dry and fell apart. This isnt the first time i had issues. The last time i bought it to the attention of the manager and he asked me what do u want me to do.. I cant fix it.

This store in Lemont sells produce that is not very good. Prices in the store are high. Dairy refrigerator smells of spoiled milk. Ive picked up milk that was beyond the expiration date. Freshness is not a word I would use to describe their products. My husband came home with a green pepper that was old & wrinkly. I threw it out and went elsewhere.

If you are in need for groceries and you live in Lemont, this is a great place to go. The fruits and vegetables from here are really fresh, and the prices for the groceries here are really fair. Throughout the years, they have kept their products well and made the prices for goods here at a fair price, which makes me recommend to go to this grocery store if you live in Lemont!

First with the positives, the employees are are friendly and eager to help you if you cannot find an item. Also the store itself is clean and neat.One thing that the store does not have and I miss, is the list of items and which row you can find them in in.Almost every Jewel set up differently so this list is very convenient when you just need a few items and you dont want to bother somebody to help you its usually found and then kept in the middle or front.Now for the not so positives,I wouldnt say theyre negative but it does weigh heavily on my review.This location is on the smaller side when you consider it in comparison to most other jewels you have been to.Because of this there is a medium to medium small variety especially when it comes to spices. While youre walking down the aisles, it kind of Bills close in and cluttered.I know this is a petty one and trust me I would not bring it up except for the lighting.In this Jewel-Osco they have hanging lamps for the lighting and because of this it is very dim.Overall, the jewel employees and the way they keep and run the store is extremely satisfactual.If it just wasnt for the actual size of the store and variety offered, it would be much better.

I really only come here when I cant make it somewhere better. The produce is ABSOLUTELY the WORST! Will spoil within a matter of days. The deli staff is rude and slow and the meat products are subpar. The prices here are outrageous (a true rip-off if you ask me). I truly think the only reason this place is still in business is because it is the only grocery store in town. I am almost certain this Jewel is going to lose a TON of business when the new Petes Fresh Market opens up down the road where the Chipains used to be.

Jewel carries many products that stores like Meijer does not have.

Dont know much about the store products. But the warehouse receiving department bald man needs to loose his job. Anger issues big time. Had multiple drivers report of yelling/cursing from this man. Ruins the front for the store. Nobody is responsible for your person life issues. Its not the wild west out here employees need to behave so my drivers feel safe.

Very weird experience. I brought my own containers for the bulk section (candy, beans, nuts, etc). I had mixed two different chocolate products in one container but they had the same price and I took down the UPCs for both. I didn’t think that was an issue, but it was. The cashier would not let me purchase it because it was mixed. So she took the chocolate out and put it on the counter (maybe for her to take home later?) and told me to go back and fill it with one product. Why could I not pay for it and take it home? Seems like this lady made Jewel lose money on this deal instead of just taking my money. Also, yall need to invest in ait proof containers for bulk food section. Your gummy worms have become jaw breaker worms.

There is an Asian section, and there is Morinaga brand Hi-Chew at the registers, always strawberry and kiwi flavors, but in the Asian section itself, no other flavors of Hi-Chew, instead, they have Puchao, a different brand of flavored chewy candy pieces. Why? I dont get it, youre already ordering Hi-Chew, so why not just get more flavors of it in the aisle?Like, come on.

Very disappointing to have this as our main grocery store. Lots and lots of expired food on the shelves especially baby food, dairy products, moldy produce. Poor organic/healthy food choices.Also, despite Lemont having thousands of Lithuanian residents and Lithuanian residents- no Lithuanian food items... even though I was told 2 years ago by the manager that he ordered them and would stock them.

Limited choices on soup and hot bar, not very fresh by mid-afternoon. Lotsa produce, few organics. GMOs not clearly signed. But Jewel does everything else, is open long hours, and is usually reliable.

Great place to shop. Always helpful and very friendly. The best Jewel-Osco weve ever shopped at.
