Silvia Lopez made me the best cake today, she did an amazing job. Everyone in the bakery at this location is very nice and always has great service. Silvia did outstanding on the cake and it was moist and the family loved it. I recommend them if you want a beautiful good cake🔥

Hard store to navigate, and has become way too expensive. Other stores nearby are much cheaper and easy to get in and out. Last time I shop at Albertsons.

Wow! new look. Nice and clean. But too expensive. This Albertsons has changed. Moved things around and asking for help on which aisle is products can be a little frustrated. Workers can be rude when asking for their help. I will not shop here again. Waste of time and money 💰. Very BAD attitude. I rate this place a big fat zero for rude manner workers

The new layout does not flow well. Hard to find others at times because where they are located just doesnt make sense. Usually homeless outside the door and in the parking lot.

Its a small Albertsons compared to other locations. I still found everything i needed and the service was awesome.

My second choice of shopping. I know their food is of high quality and fresh. And theres not a crowd. I say second because certain items are not available there, only food. And I think the quality of food is number one.

This location is in Lemon Grove. There meat section is very small. They renovated it since there last and its much smaller.

Hi .this store is ripping off the public im talking about the store in alpine,calif.iv been watching prices at other stores and the one in alpine is charging 1.oo$ to 200$ more then all other stores the one in alpine i here is charging more then albertsons in el cajon. Basic Albersons fair, but someone in my party went to use the womens restroom, and said it smelled terrible... she almost threw up...

In the past this was my go to store. Well, the last three visits have been terrible for my wife. Apparently they switched to individual lines at each registers months ago, yet there is no signage indicating this anywhere.As you can expect, people still line up in one big line and because there is no staff or signage indicating otherwise, it is complete chaos with some customers getting in the big line and others lining up at the cash registers.When I explained this to the store director he wanted to brainstorm solutions with me, yet immediately batted down any suggestion I had even though they would be easy to implement.I understand that he is the authority on how to run a grocery store, but as a librarian I am an authority on how people access information. Infrequent announcements over the PA are insufficient. You one hundred percent need signage, but apparently the store director is hamstrung by corporate.In addition, he wouldnt agree to dedicate a staff member to addressing the line situation as they had in the past. While it may not be the store directors fault, ultimately this store is understaffed and has poor planning (which is the store directors fault).We do love some of the staff members, but the experience here has become too chaotic to return. If you value organization and a good customer service experience, its time to go elsewhere. We wont be returning.

Crazy place to shop . Hobos in every corner outside the store and if you are planning to get coffee from Starbucks inside their store it is going to be very frustrating . We had to wait for about 45 minutes with one employee helping two customers were ahead of us. Thats insane!

I like Albertsons. Very selective merchandise. Either for family or single people. I like the fact that you can buy small portions of food either meat or vegetables.

Not too long ago...I entered this particular store.Headed to the stationary section,after a few minutes I noticed an employee standing next to me,No one else but me and the store employee were in the aisle.the employee was just there,watching me.I was targeted because of the color of my skin I fitted their stereotype of what a so called hispanic shoplifter looks like.

My experience today was not a pleasant one. I bought a slab of ribs from the Deli. Once I got home ready to eat the ribs they were like beef jerky, hard, barely cutting. I was so disappointed in Albertsons how could you sell tough, over cooked meat to your Customers. So wrong in many ways especially when I dont live in the area. Your deli employees should have more coaching or extra training in cooking ribs.

Ever since the store was shrunk to add an area for INSTACART Ive had problems here. Its very crowded in the aisles & the selection is not as good. Several checkout stands have been replaced with self checkouts which very few customers can actually do for themselves. The staff are still mostly great but when you try to pay it takes a long time now.

I dont understand why people pay too much for groceries. The people standing around, I think maybe they work there, are rude.

Multiple times I have made purchases here and had the food be expiring within a week or two. On top of that my wife went there today and a homeless man was pooping almost in front of the store in daylight! Security barely did anything to help remove him either.

Always see someone cleaning somewhere. Friendly staff at the deli counter. Perfect plaza with a little bit of everything from pet store to Starbucks

You have to have an employee open the liquor shelves for you and take it up front. Then at the register tell them you have a bottle waiting. This is for ALL liquor, not just the expensive stuff. Its a PITA.

Over priced. Only go here, because close to home. I prefer Walmart food.

Albertsons is always clean, quiet, and a wonderful place to shop. (At least early morning). The cashiers are quick and friendly. There are also some very fast baggers. Nice store.

Perhaps the worst grocery in SD. Overpriced produce and meats accompanied with a 30min wait to check out. Customer service lays dying at Albertsons.

Love this spot, especially the deli section. Great selection and staff. Convenient and since they shifted from that one line mode to line at each register, wait times significantly decreased.

Good deals in the Seafood Dept. The frozen section of items are much smaller than before.

Prices are good and clean store. Dont carry everything I am looking for but do carry my hard to find Coca-Cola products both times I visited.

Great early morning grocery run. The store was quiet and clean, employees were friendly and helpful.

Im going to make this my new favorite local monthly store because of the great experience I had yesterday in comparison to the other stores in our area - shelves are stocked with organic non GMO food choices at competitive local prices, as good as if I were shopping in a natural foods market. I am handicapped and there was plenty of help available without anyone being intrusive.

Every time i come to the meat department for their front page advertised specials i have to beg for them to bring some out or they are out. Three weeks in a row! Come on. Ill just go to costco and pay a bit more. Bummer because its so close.

Pharmacy at this store makes you purchase medication not wanted, pharmacist exploiting right to prescribe medications. Should be investigated

Renovations making holiday shopping a little crazy

Clean well organized and well stocked considering the election year woes we are all having to deal with again.

So upsetting, I ordered a Turkey Dinner for my staff and the call me 2 hours prior to tell me they are out! What?? The guy that called me said that they just received the order today, yet a few minutes later I can hear another employee saying they tried calling me. Not one voicemail from them prior to this call. I asked for a manager the guy says no ones here. This is terrible!!

Altho is pricey, cashiers, bag personnel & EVEN the meat personnel are very accommodating while exhibiting EXCELLENT customer service.

Great quality produce and meat department with surprising variety. I bought a frozen duck there yesterday!

Still getting used to the new layout. Will reserve judgment.
