I understand the state mandate for face coverings. I walked into this store with my child in a face covering and a face shild covering that is on the list of the state guidelines. As more than one face covering is approved per the state guidelines. As I was walking in the store a employee approach me and asked me how I was doing. I replied fine. At that time the employee said I need you to stop right there because I need you to have a mask like mine. I will go get you one. I was thrown off as I already had a approved facial covering on. At that time i said no worry we just wont shop here. Please keep in mind my face covering was worn in the mall and all other shopping stores. My face covering is also approved for airlines and my job.

They had a surprisingly great inventory of merchandise. Was perfect too take a look in there for Halloween. Good place to get decent inexpensive rings, piercings, various jewelry.

One of the better hot topics I have been to from living in three different states. Well stocked, organized, and friendly staff. Great customer service skills for various issues I have had with online orders and my hot topic account.

The store Usually has great customer service, but Im not sure if its still the same or they were having an off day when I was there last week.... I actually got so frustrated when I couldnt get help, (after asking twice) that I put back the purchase choices I made and left without buying anything. They used to be the spot to buy unique clothes and jewelry...but in the last 18yrs I guess its becoming more of a random stuff store. They still have a great selection of band Tees however!

Geek paradise. Lots of great merchandise and the staff was friendly and helpful. Wish some of the jewelry was higher quality but the price point is low, so I dont expect it to be very durable. The store is usually crowded but people make it work.

I love the novelty clothes and items you can get here. Almost any popular band has a t-shirt here, Disney fans can find clothes, and fans of popular TV shows can also find an assortment of clothes, jewelry, clothes, and accessories. One can also order from their online store. The biggest problem at the mall is the music is too loud. I love the music, but I love my hearing also. It should be turned down.

Not my kind of store. But I cant fault it for anything except the EXTREMELY overpriced merchandise and trinkets. Im sure other people that love the medium from which the merchandise is taken from can justify how expensive it is, but Im not paying 30 dollars for a t shirt. No thank you.

Very pricey. Items are not the best quality. Ive been shopping at Hot Topic for over a decade. No matter the state or city, HT is expensive. However, I am happy they sell merchandise that is LGBT friendly, but there isnt anything for transgender pride. If the prices were lower and they didnt stop selling transgender flag merch, Id give them 5 stars.

Got my mommy her birthday present here when I just came in to look around and find something for my sisters wedding reception.But word of warning make sure a shirt is a t-shirt before buying. I liked the design on a nightmare before Christmas shirt only to find out its a belly shirt

This is a store I take my kids to once every 2-3 years. I understand they have there promotions to bring people back to the store.They started on there deal with the coupons, I interrupted the person to tell them we were not interested and they continued with the sales pitch. I considered it very disrespectful to continue with this after I said we were not interested. At least I can say it wont be 2-3 years again it will be more like never that we go back

They have a wide selection of band and show t shirts as well as merch, jewlery, some hairdyes, and lots of other stuff. Their sizes larger than xL sell out really quickly is what we were told, so I guess get what you can while you can. They have cute stuff!

Food took more than an hour, arrived only after we said we were leaving then it miraculously showed up, cold, greasy overdone fries, forgot the soup, out of the soup my husband ordered. Bad experience all around. Only 2 of us, place understaffed for Fathers day but it wasnt even 1/2 full . Gues if I had been drunk it might have been sorta okay but i wasnt.

If you can find that gift for your nerd fan or that on shirt that you didnt know you needed to express just what is on your mind or tops you list of important for talking with the crew at work ( yes i do need another Deadpool shirt, this one has him and Colossus on the Rainbow Unicorn!)

Crowded, jammed merchandise everywhere! Cant walk freely anywhere, always banging into something. Music is very loud, cant carry on any conversation without yelling. Disappointed when purchased items on a buy one get one free. Tried to return the second item, and was told it was free, no value. Any other buy one get one, the second item was always half value for return.

I used to shop the hell out of this place in the 90s and early 2000s when I was younger. I now realize it is the hive of douchebaggery since all they sell is annoying shirts and piercing related crap and anything else to piss off parents and society. Walking through again in 2016 I am embarrassed to have ever spent money there.Having said that though, it is well organized for a small space and they really target their market well. The music and ambiance would excite me if I was young and angry again.I would feel wrong giving 1 star cause Im old now, but I still think it feeds the wrong attitude about life so it gets an average score.

Staff was friendly and I know I am not the target market, but man Hot Topic has changed their image. What happened to the hard rock image they were going for 10 years ago? What happened to the Slipknot, System of a Down stuff? Now they are Justin Bieber and other weird teeny bopper stuff. Im sure it makes more money and they adapt, but it feels like a completely different company.

Service is really good. They are great about coupons and sales and have even suggested coupons I didnt notice.Selection is great on all the pop culture stuff I love. Inventory comes and goes though. Star Wars is big now and there is a nice Doctor Who selection. You will find a new line of Studio Ghibli stuff (TOTORO!) too, but something like Minecraft is mostly gone as that was last year.Ive found lots of great gifts here.Like all Hot Topics its crammed full and hard to navigate. Selection gets moved around the store regularly.

I think youre paying for that variety of stuff that is hard to find elsewhere.Pros: Service is usually pretty good there. The gals who work there have always been pretty friendlyCons: Cramped. The store is pretty small as it is, and with a lot of people in there, it can be tough to move around. Also, it seems like they set the music level pretty high. Went in there with a friend once and we could barely hear each other.

Always some sort of sale going on. However I could do without being asked 10 times if I needed help.

Overly invasive staff. I went in about a week ago with a couple friends just to look at some jewelry, this guy with purple hair kept coming up to us almost every five minutes just to say something random and unimportant, which was irritating in itself. But later I walked to the other side of the store and he approached me again and said ¨You should really smile more.¨ Which instantly pissed me off, like what am I supposed to do when Im walking around a store at the mall? Do I need to be creepily grinning at everyone I see? No, just leave me alone.
