Went to the one downtown Birmingham and couldnt get any service. I decided to stop at the one downtown Leeds and I was approached instantly. We were told about the sales instantly so we picked out a bedroom set with TV stand. We were also looking for a reclining love seat and even though it was for my room, my wife instantly fell in love with one so I had to get it. Everything I looked at was half off.

John is a great help. Does not bug you but is there to answer your question quickly and thoroughly.

Went to the store after calling and told they had in stock king size headboards. Got to the store and no employee was wearing a mask even though they had signs posted mask required. They showed us headboards, come to find out, we had to order them. We were also told it would fit our current frame. We were told three weeks for it to be at the warehouse. At four weeks we called the warehouse and it wasn’t ready. At five and half weeks, it was ready when we called. They never called us to tell us it was ready. We got it home and the headboard did not fit our frame. You needed to buy their frame. We will not be back and will not recommend.

John is so nice. He was patient while assisting us with our furniture purchase. He answered all of all questions and helped us get a great deal. We had been looking for months. We tried several other furniture stores and this one won our business. John made our experience a pleasure. I am now a official customer of standard furniture.

We ordered a chair and a half in June and were told, due to covid, it would take 8 weeks to make delivery. It is now Oct and I was just told that it would take at least 4 more weeks. They blame the manufacturer but imo, this is all on standards head. They choose to use that manufacturer, they tell people the est time of arrival and they make the money. Oh and dont ask anyone to have the manager call you because either they wont give him the message or he just wont care enough to call you. Bottom line is, if you cant walk out of the store with it, dont buy it from standard especially if its special order because they are NOT giving you a refund.

Just left the location in Leeds. Sales people couldnt even be bothered to say hello. One on the phone (thats ok) the other sitting at a desk. He looked up but said nothing. Walked around wanting to buy a living room set. Im heading to another store and will be buying today. I buy from commission sales people who want to help.

Standard Furniture in Leeds is the BEST! The staff are so friendly.....John was great and the store manager, Jeff was fantastic. They made me feel at ease and allowed me to take my time with my decisions without feeling pressured. Their furniture is great quality and the prices are hard to beat! I am thrilled with my furniture and will definately be shopping at Standard Furniture in Leeds again!

Standard furniture sucks!! They do a hard inquiry on your credit, which brings score down. Then they don’t even participate in helping ypur score when you pay everything on time. And then on top of all that, after you’ve paid everything off on time and want to buy something else, guess what,... they want to run another inquiry on you again!! Absolute horrible place to try to establish credit, and frankly, I bought an expensive couch from there, been a lil over a year, and things are already messing up! All around bad experience!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
