Very disappointed in this location. I had done my research prior to going in and was assured by a salesperson over the phone that they do land and home deals. The day I went in to this center, I find out do they do not offer land and home deals, ever. The home I looked at, a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom would be base cost of $275,000. I mean why would I buy a manufactured home for that price when I can get a normal built house on land for just about that asking price? Dont get me wrong, it was a nice trailer. The very absent saleslady told me it was because of rising lumber prices and they only work with one custom designer. I left and will plan to visit any other center than Meadows Homes in the future.
We have had nothing but problems with this house. It was built so badly it is laughable. There is trim falling off everywhere, weve had leaks and mold because of the leaks. They also left wide open holes way bigger than they needed for the pipes which led to mice getting in, nothing sealed or spray foamed, nothing. We are disgusted with Giles, Meadows, and the whole process. We werent told certain things about the home u til after we got it and I feel deceived. Darrell was the only shining light but I hate this house and wish we had never gotten it and gone somewhere else. The list is too long to even go on.
Thank you for working with me to get my new home I had a great experience with Wes he did a amazing job getting me my new home thanks again Wes you’re the best at what you do
My experience with Meadows Homes in Lebanon has been great so far! Ive not purchased a home YET, but I will be soon. Wesley Davis is very knowledgeable! He has been very patient and has answered many questions for me and my boyfriend. Randle and I are very pleased with Wesleys helpfulness. I have known Wes for many many years, so I fully trust him. I believe you will have an excellent home buying experience too if you give him a call.
Fantastic ....So helpful....Carla and Derrell went out of their way to accomadate all my needs
Great place to deal with . very helpful and friendly staff . got what I was looking for and at a good price. THANKS WES !
I went to speak with a representative and the experience was awesome! I was able to take a tour of some of the available homes... Im very excited now!
We purchased our house in September we absolutely love our house! It took quite awhile for us to get in it. The delays were because of the county being so slow and over worked. We also ran into a lot of rainy weather which slowed the process considerably . Darrell Dickerson the manager is who we dealt with. He was great and helped us every step of the way. If you are thinking of purchasing a home see Darrell.
We worked with Wes to buy our home and hewas up front n diligent in his work with us,we bought and now are waiting on work to start. We will write another review when that happens,so a thank you goes out to Wes and Darrell the manager who assured us of any doubts.Thank You
Im writing to indicate for Buyers to be aware my Aunt came there depressed, handicap and had just lost her son. Scott with Darrens assistance took totally advantage of her. First of all, they took her check paid in full promising the Mobile Home would be placed where she asked, she would have a new Mobile Home, she could select what goes in it. Once they deposit the check she was brought a USED mobile home, cracks all down the wall in the living room, no selection was given to her. Then she did a walk through, drove them the list of damaged there and two to three months later shes waiting to move in a Mobile Home thats just sitting there because they claim the parts to repair a brand new mobile Home havent arrived. She gave them a check for 44,000.00 for a 15,000.00 Used Mobile Home. After four months and out 46,000.00 shes still having to live with someone else. Also at the end she had to hire her own Electrician, and the prices changed as far as removing a prior Trailer. Please be aware. We will be reporting it to Eyewitness News so stay tuned for live pictures on television. Also you will be able to read the entire transaction @ Better Business Bureau! Bad business, no one want to be professional and take care of a Paid in full customer! God help!
You can not go wrong here! This is one place that will back up what they say. They can be trusted Donnie Meadows will make sure of that!!!
Wish I would have read reviews before I bought a trailer in June 2016, because it is now February 2017, and absolutely nothing is setup yet, no foundation, no trailer, nothing. There was no financing, so it was all paid for back in June. If I could do it all again, I would definitely not buy from them if I knew it was going to take this long to get it setup, and from other reviews, it is probably still going to be a horrible deal once it does get setup. Ill update this when it finally gets setup, if I dont die first.Update:3/2017 - Finally in place on land.4/2017 - Foundation walls in place (3 blocks high, not 40 / 5 blocks high as stated in contract and paid for, so make sure you are there to make sure it is correct height off ground that you paid for).
I could write a book on what went wrong with this process of buying a home but for now this is whats weighing me down. Be careful about site improvements. I was charged for things my dad completed for me. Was told the site improvement list could not be fully detail because it wouldnt all fit on the mortgage paperwork. It took 5 months to close on our loan and its taken another 6 months and COUNTING to complete. Our lease is up and The house we live in is being sold now and luckily we can stay until it does but after that ??? just be aware we were originally told that it would take about 6 months give or take ..
Great group of people working at Meadows of Lebanon! Always a great experience when dealing with them.
Met with guy name Wes. He felt like a used car salesman that was vague and didnt answer any questions. Only had 6 homes on lot to look at and all appeared out of date. RESPONSE to owner: We left the lot when the salesman would not give us information that we asked for. He started to play use car salesman games with us. I asked what would be the cash purchase price and he repeated himself several times by saying, Ill help you out and when pressed for details he repeated himself. There were 6 homes on the lot that he showed us.
They help you plan a dream of owning a beautiful home.
I went there today to look at Mobile homes. As I toured their model homes, I noticed that every model had something falling apart on it.On one the wall was popping loose on another the kitchen counter was peeling loose, molding fall from near the ceilings and around the doors.one of the salesman asked me if I had any questions. I said not yet. Never heard from him again, but as I was leaving they were standing on the porch at the office and never asked me again about anything. I suppose he didnt care.Bottom line if their salesmen are that disinterested and their models are falling apartI dont think I will be purchasing from those that company.
GO SOMEPLACE ELSE !!! Unless you do not care about any after the sale service. I purchased a brand-new home from these people paying in full upfront. Upon delivery they did not even remove the wood protectors and I just found out after a hard freeze that they left the pipe insulation that they installed open and expose. And when you call them up for service they are very rude and state that they are not responsible for their installation as written in their four-page contract. If you are planning to get a manufactured house in Cookeville Tennessee I suggest you go across the street to Clayton Holmes. You will also want to have an attorney look over the contract before signing it from these people. If I can give them zero stars they would get zero stars for poor customer relations and service after the sale.
I never write Google Reviews but our experience with Meadows Homes in Lebanon was so terrible that I felt the need to warn other people who are considering purchased a home from them. We were very excited when we picked out our home from Meadows in June of 2018. The homes are nice and the prices are decent, but the customer service is horrible and extremely unprofessional. You will be promised the moon with no follow through, nothing will be explained property, and be prepared to have to follow up constantly to ensure things are being done and your paperwork is not just sitting on someones desk unprocessed. Many mistakes were made in the processing of our paperwork and there were countless miscommunications including having us down for the wrong house not once, but twice. Our sales rep kept insisting that mistakes had been made, but we caught them in more than 1 flat out lie (confirmed by the mortgage company). The manager never got involved during the 2.5 months of back and forth, he only got involved when we requested our deposit back and then he was full of apologies and explanations (read excuses).I am so glad that we cancelled our order and went with another option as we have had a wonderful experience with Star Homes in Cullman, Al. We were able to get a larger home with more amenities for a lower price with no hassle, confusion, or lies. If you do not want to drive to Alabama, I would highly recommend Dinkins Homes in Columbia. Go talk to Tina she was wonderful!
We have been looking at their homes every now and then since last November.... We were told last saturday to either go ahead and buy or dont come back by Rhonda C. Is this the way to do business? So....we wont be back.
Nice homes. Friendly staff. Prayimg to get approved
Friendly and informative people. Limited selection of quality floorplans.
Dont do business with them. My home was set with a bad foundation. I havent been able to open my front door and my back door leaks water every time it rains. Ive called mutiple times for them to fix it, they always blame it on someone else and never come to fix it. Now I have water damage and possibly mold growing. Never do business with them. Once they have youre money they no longer care.
Well........ Bought a nice (what we thought was nice) house back in November. (Signed the papers the day before my birthday). Was told by William Forbes they would try to have us in it by Christmas as they ordered it before the papers were signed. Well its now March 16th 2016 and still not in the house. Its one thing after another with them and always an excuse for everything. I turned the water on for the first time this evening and I discovered a major water leak between the sections around the hot water heater. If I had done my research better I would not have bought from them at all. I wish they would do what they say and hire the people to do what they say as well. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Liars and Theives.
