Today would have been my 3rd time giving this restaurant a try but even though online it says they are opened until 9pm on Wednesdays. The sign out front was on and I pulled up to the drive through speaker at 7:27pm, after several minutes a worker greeted me with Sorry we are closed. I asked what time they closed and she said 7:30pm. Being new to the community I wanted to be able to love and support this small family business but the past 2 times I have been there the food, ice cream, and service was average at best and honestly a bit over priced for what they offer. This will most like be my last visit.

The food is stellar at The Milky Way. My out of town friends and family always ask to go there when visiting. The onion rings are hand dipped and phenomenal. A tempura like batter. Shakes and Sundaes are excellent too. If there was one issue I have its that some of the sides are kinda small but actually that works out because I can get more OF them to try.

Great hometown, family owned restaurant and ice cream shop. Friendly staff and good comfort food... cute shop! If youre local, you k ow this place... if youre not, dont miss this yummy stop as you pass through Lebanon, IN... you wont be disappointed!

While passing through Indiana on our road trip, we stopped at this cute little diner. Food was delish! Service was very fast, even though they were busy. I recommend the chicken sandwich! The chicken was thick and very juicy. Would eat here again if we’re ever passing through!

We were looking for a quick bite for cheap I’m happy we came here! Food was VERY fairly priced,and for what you paid it was well worth the price. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Gave off that old school feeling. That’s harder to find nowadays. I’ll will be stopping by again next time we are in town.

My family comes to Milky Way at least 2 times a month if not more, it’s most likely the best food place in Lebanon. my daughter loves the tangerine twist ice cream. Gyros a good, tenderloins, burgers, fried mushrooms…literally all of it is good.

Best burgers in Lebanon, in my opinion. We stopped off on the way home and really enjoyed good food and service. We will be back!

My daughter and I like to go out here and get their shakis whenever possible. Best shakes in the entire state that I will guarantee you. Theyve got a large and an extra large (wich is 44 oz Xl, 32 oz L)but I feel theyre priced very fairly yet still expensive. That said its still worth every penny. the only complaint I would have and the reason they only got 4 stars is this restaurant is notorious for not being open during regular listed business hours. clearly its a small business but they have their hours listed on the door as Monday through Sunday yet theyre not open on Sunday 95% of the time. also Ive showed up on several Saturdays to find them not being open.. Wouldnt be a big deal if I lived in Lebanon but I dont its a good 35 minute drive we literally make that drive to get one of their shakes so when youve driven across the state and theyre not open during listed business hours it can get quite frustrating. But they do have the best shakes in the entire state so its just a chance we constantly take and I would recommend you do the same...

Great prices great customer service the food is phenomenal you absolutely have to try the onion rings.They have more variety of ice cream than any business should have your needs will definitely be met and you should definitely visit

Love, love, love this place!! My favorites are their tacos, fried zucchini and chili. Their hamburgers and fries are delicious too! The meat they use is sourced locally and is consistently wonderful. Great food for a great value.

This place wasnt bad. Everyone recommended the marshmallow coke but I wouldnt. Its a little bit of coke with a ton of foam. The tenderloin was decent and the potato wedges werent bad either. It was $20 to feed my wife and I, and we only ordered one tenderloin sandwich.

The Milky Way I give a five-star rating their food is very delicious its a little pricey but its worth the price also if youre eating in they give you a number to put on your table and they actually bring it out and serve it to you. The staff was also courteous kind and efficient in doing their job.

Ill tell you what another great thing about going to small towns and they always have the best little grills and ice cream shops this is like before Dairy Queen was a thing type place... so hop in your car and head on down to Milky Way in Lebanon Indiana, soft serve and grilled cheeseburgers yummy

The Milky way is a family favorite. We had the classics, soft taco, monster burger, corn dog, rootbeer float!

Great Ice Cream thats cheap and is really good🤩. No masks are required if you care to know and food is pretty good. Staff is fun and patient and it was a good experience food wise.

First time there. I had a medium chocolate shake, and my wife had a medium chocolate cone...$6.90, really very good. Well be going back, they had all kinds of items to choose from. I spotted my favorite...gyros, I asked what they were made of, he said lamb, told him I would definitely be back.

This is one of the best fast food places in town.. they have some of the best fried coliflower. An hands down the best breaded tenderloins. An they are big enough to feed a few people off one!! Got to try it, i know youll love it too.

This place has been around since I was a kid growing up in Lebanon 25 years ago. Love this place. Everything is good the milk shakes, fries, jalopeno poppers everything!

Visiting once was enough, and Im glad we were able to support small business. Their cheese sticks (only 4 for $3.75!) were the best of what we ordered, followed by the corn dog. My husband ordered the hand breaded tenderloin and a cherry coke. He thought the sandwich was okay, but the syrup in the coke needed stirred in before being served to him. He took a drink and got all cherry syrup, describing it as cough medicine. I ordered the tator tacho supreme ($4.49!). I also ordered a hot fudge brownie sundae. The hot fudge was just chocolate syrup :( and the brownie was very cakey. It tasted like a dark chocolate brownie. My husband described it as bread, haha. Overall, we were both very disappointed with the food. The prices were very high for the quality received. Neither of us can understand why they seem to always have a line in their drive-thru.

I dont leave many bad reviews but man this ice cream place needs to go to ice cream school. The banana split i got was so runny it ran all over the place. More like a banana split milk shake. Never again will i visit this place. Dumped banana split in bowl after the 2 minute ride home.

Best onion rings....hands down. Food is made to order. So its always fresh and hot. Tacos are delish. They make their own sauce. The burning tongue is worth it!

Absolutely! This place is great! My children, Husband, and I walked in for the first time not long ago, and their employees (although real young) were real patient with us. Feels like the good ol days in there. Good stuff to choose from as well! I give them a 5 star! 😁

I hadnt been here for a couple of years and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered a regular hamburger and onion rings. The burger was thick, juicy, and flavorful. The meat was not bland and rubbery like so many places. The onion rings were freshly battered, not from a frozen supply house! I sat inside at a booth. The place was bright and clean! I will definitely come more often AND spread the word to others!At first, I thought the price a little steep. Then I realized this was quality food. Worth the price!

Had a Coney dog. They are good their, but Coney sauce is getting to spicey. Very good ice cream. Staff & service is great.

I love this restaurant. I return to Lebanon usually twice each year. This is one place I try to visit. I enjoyed a breaded tenderloin and onion rings. Also had a vanilla Coke. I know I will be back in the Spring.

Way overpriced for the quantity and quality of food. It may be a gem to the locals, but for me it doesnt mean anything. Ive had better burgers at Wendys and better ice cream from a convenience store. Almost $4 for 4 cheese sticks, and almost $3 for maybe the 10 fries I got. I have no reason to ever go back. Very disappointed!

My new go to lunch in Lebanon. Giant tenderloin and onion rings was yum. Chili dog and fries wasnt bad either. They need footlongs though. Cant wait to try the rest of the menu.

Steak sandwich is delicious. They only buy so many fresh from local butcher for the day. You feel like you are stealing it from someone elses mouth when you score a steak sandwich.

Nice staff but food was just okay,and fried mushrooms, were half cooked and kind of slimy. Other than that homemade onion rings and burger was pretty good. And a lady there was raving about the pulled pork sandwich.

Ate dinner last night with my son and wife. We ordered our food, while it was very good we were disappointed to realize that for the price you pay if you want fries you have to order them separate. Sorry, but they need to make that a lot more clear. We will not be returning. My son was the only one of us that got fries, which is good because he loves fries, he is also 2 years old. He doesnt get them very often for the fact that they are fried. Anyway will not return to this establishment.
