Kay Jewelers in the Lebanon City Mall is hands down an excellent store in my opinion. More importantly The sales consultant Elizabeth is extremely knowledgeable and extremely friendly. If it wasn’t for her help in my recent purchase I honestly don’t think I would be happy anywhere else.

They worked on my ring three times, and damaged it so badly that it had to be fully replaced. 8 days after the replacement was given to me and issued as a damaged replacement, under a new warranty policy and under a new account, a diamond fell out. They tried to tell me I was past my 60 day return policy and would have to inspect it and see if that was even an option...even though it was physically falling to pieces (and I only had the previous ring for about 4 weeks of the 3 1/2 months that it was in my possession - because it was in their repair shop constantly...and just to mention again, this new ring was only 8 days old under a new policy.) My biggest issue is that they argued with me every time it needed fixed, telling me that their QC department inspects everything before it’s given back to the customer. I am not sure what they’re inspecting there, but it certainly wasn’t my ring. It came back so thin on one side that it looked like it could break, it was flat like a bolt on the other side, and I could see the seam line at the bottom where they cut it out to resize...I’m not even a jeweler and I also don’t know anything about jewelry, so I have no idea how it was overlooked by the person who performed the “repair,” QC, and I would think it should be inspected in the store before it’s given back to the customer.They must have forgotten to inspect mine, and the store managers must have thought I wouldn’t notice and left it go, to give to me anyhow. They basically blamed me for their work on resizing, by saying it’s because I went back and forth on resizing, when I didn’t...it only went down in size twice because it was purchased in stock size, as most engagement rings are since they’re typically a surprise...resizing isn’t an uncommon request last I checked. They were mad that I went to a different location for my wedding band because the same ring was cheaper in another one of their stores, they verbally voiced their agitation to me in the store after they already destroyed my engagement ring...instead of focusing on the real problem and their customer service. I had to call corporate to have a complete refund ordered to the store, they were so rude when I went in...they didn’t greet me in any kind of way, instead, one of the associates made a rude remark, commenting on me not being to the store at the time I expected to be...it was still two hours until closing, but apparently it was their last sentiment to me, to prove their customer service skills, by making a rude dig one last time since I will NEVER purchase a thing from them again, and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone, and I also hope no one ever has to deal with the fiasco I did. I cannot believe the way I was treated, not once did they apologize for the damage, the hassle, or the terrible customer service from anyone there. Apparently “the customer is always right “ does not apply here, even when they damage your jewelry :) ...because after all, they inspected it, so it’s fine ;)

My wedding rings have been retired, so we had to special order a new band. Kay messed up my order then had to order it again for me now i had to call cause my ribg was supposed to be in last week and they are telling me i have to special order it AGAIN but now i have to put 20% down cause they gave my ring to someone else and it has to come from the vender. This is bullsh*t, they gave my ring away twice already and because they gave it away now i have to put 20% down. I do t have that money we were going to put it on layaway. Im done buying jewlery from a place that doesnt care a out their clients

Lady (admitted she was the manager) who waited on me was rude and left me waiting without even checking in with me. She was NOT busy. Just rude. If I hadnt already ordered online, I would have gone somewhere else. I am a long time Kay customer and their customer service has REALLY went down hill.
