Very poorly made trailers in my opinion. Most of welders are not certified and have no business welding anything there all a bunch of stoner drunks from weld to paint to assembly. The paint section is awful the paint is so light most of the time that its rusting before it gets off the line and all they do is spray it with cheap black spray paint lol. The only reason I know all this is because I worked there it was awful I wouldnt buy a trailer for here Id be to afraid the trailer would fall apart before I made it out the driveway. If I could give a no star I would.

Well coming from a man that was in charge of quality this place has a zero quality policy bad welds and light paint the axels on these trailers are dry axels not marine but hey if you dont care they do have a great staff loved working here they are very good people they just never grew the building to match their demand the negative comments on these reviews I cant argue with was gonna post some pics but wasnt sure if it would be legal

Worked there for three days only to find I could not physically do the work. They refused to pay me for the 3 days I did work. The production boss, Hayden, is a lying thief. No one should trust this company. I will be posting on all public forums about this rotten company untill I get paid! If they did this to me, a retired military combat veteran, no telling what they have done to others.

I currently own a Bear trailer and have owned other Bear trailers, among other brands, with my other boats over the years(75 year old veteran) and as far as I am concerned there is no other trailer that can compare with quality and performance of The Bear Trailer. The most reliable road worthy trailer from Fairfield, Minnesota to Mansfield, Tennessee and Cape Coral, Florida.

How in the HECK do you earn a 4.6 Google rating 081320??!! IMPO, these are Dangerous & Poorly-built pontoon and tri-toon boat trailers/products. Riveted, non-SS ground connection at tongue that fails on day 3 after buying your boat. ++ IMO, improper cleaning of raw material before welding, poor welds, despicable wiring, poor powder-coating and overall a product to be ashamed of. There is no value in a worthless product. You earned this one star.

Update- today I received a new trailer and upon inspection it looks as though to be done correctly so at this time I feel it is only fair to say they did come around and right a wrong which a lot of companies don’t do so they will go from 1 star to 4 for doing the right thing. If I have problems I will amend this review again but I am hoping that doesn’t happenWhen I first bought my trailer I was impressed. 2 days into owning it I had what i thought was a axle spring malfuntion after getting the trailer up off the ground it was much worse than that. The trailer spring support was not welded correctly in 2 ways 1 it was only welded on 2 sides vs all 4 the other was they didnt get the weld hot enough to penetrate the frame. I contacted the seller and explained I was on the side of the road and that i had to have a company come and bolt the axle support to the frame in the middle of nowhere and it costs me $1500.00 to get that done along with having it rewelded. I asked them to replace the trailer and cover the cost of the repair they offered me $500.00 and a new trailer. I dont feel that this is an issue i should have had to deal with and under further inspection from DOT certified company that has to certify trailers and trucks to run down the road there are many more welds that were not done correctly. I am not one to write these types of reviews but in this case i wanted to let other buyers know what i issues i had. Now i am having to spend the time working with the DOT and small claims court in Missouri to get this rectified. I will also state that I have not talked to the manufacture I have spoken only with the seller of the trailer (new) he stated he has been in contact with the manufacture and there was no need for me to call them.

I use a Bear trailer to pull my G3 1860 and couldnt be more pleased. The removable trailer tongue allows me to store the boat in my garage and leaves plenty of room to maneuver. The trailer is well built and does what a trailer is supposed to do without hassle.Recently I lost the key that prevents the removable trailer tongue from being stolen. Fortunately the good folks at Bear have the foresight to anticipate that lost keys happen. The receptionist who answered my call was incredibly friendly and knew exactly who I needed to speak with. I had only to provide the trailer serial number and a new key was on its way.Build good stuff, have polite and knowledgeable people, anticipate customer needs and solve them quickly? Thats 5 stars all day.

Drove down from Kansas City, on the chance they might have something I could use for a jet ski trailer. The owner got involved, searched his lot till he found just what I needed. They build excellent trailers as this is the second one I have owned. Making a great Jet Ski trailer now. Thank You.

These guys are so awesome. My husband was traveling across the country today pulling a trailer completely packed with stuff. He kept having blowouts and his axles were broken. He limped it to Bear Trailer from the interstate and they had him up and going in a couple of hours. New axles, springs and 5 new wheels and tires. They saved him from being stranded hundreds of miles from home and were very friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommend them!
