Reliable and honest repairs at a fair price.

There was a rattle and brakes were changed and then the new struts were replaced for aprox $1,000.00, still the same noises. took it to another garage and they found a tool that was laying somewhere in the front under the hood and that solved the rattle problem! struts dont have to be replaced to tell whether theyre defective, the car didnt have a problem (Honda) with the suspension. Also, the other vehicle, replaced a front door window, then it malfunctioned soon thereafter and they supposedly replaced it again, it has now malfunctioned that you cant open the window!!!! They must be using cheap replacement parts; on this same vehicle they replaced the rack and pinion twice within about 20,000 miles and now they said its defective again, the factory one lasted longer than these 2 replacements combined.

Brian is a great guy..hope I can figure out my emissions situation this is now two shops that have no idea why I can not get a waiver...hope Penndot can help me fingers crossed. Thank you again Brian for helping as much as you could.

Quick service, friendly and informative staff. I knew what my car needed and they didnt try to sell me on any unnecessary extras. The bill was reasonable, maybe even low. Very glad I decided to try this garage instead of my usual.

Simon is a good experience mechanic. He is a very honest man, if he cant fix it he will let you and wont jerk you around or give you false hope.

This shop is amazing. They helped me in a pinch and were willing to stay past closing to help me out. Being new in the area its hard to find a shop to trust. I will going back for sure!

Cant comment on their actual work but, I Requested 2 seperate online estimates for 2 seperate types of Goodyear tires, and I got the email confirming that the requests were recieved within 24 hours that said the actual estimates would take a couple of business days, so I waited... and waited... and 2 weeks later I ordered tires and installation online from pepboys instead...That was well over a month ago and I still havent recieved my estimates for Simon S. Kettering & Sons. Just not a good customer service experience in that regard.

I pulled in to their shop with tire troubles. They were able to identify problems that I didnt know my car had, and fix them before I left on a road trip. This is the first time Ive ever been here and they have been amazing! After all of the work that they did, I was only charged for the 2 new tires I needed. They are a great local shop!

Great team, I had a catylitic converter put on our Mazda, there where no surprises, and mark communicated suggestions for any damages that may need attention. Brian was a pleasure to deal with as well.

Wont use again. Came to him with fuel issue. After promising time to diagnose, that wasnt the case when i left my work truck there. Ended up putting 15 minutes into my truck, changing the fuel filter and sending me on my way. No test drive nothing. Within 1 day my engine light was on and same problem persisted. Ended up costing me two days of work. It was the fuel pump all along. Thanks for promising me time to diagnose and then sending me on my way with over $100 to change my fuel filter. BTW, fuel filters cost $10! Will never use them again.

Fix the Truck very fast

Simon S Kettering goes way back. My father, Paul Feather, owned Feathers Garage across the street, but no one attached to the Kettering family remembers him. What put my father out of business were gas tanks next door that exploded, rendering my fathers garage structurally unsound.

I advise you not to visit, $ 40 per hour, whether or not the fittest disrepair, to repair the door asked me $ 450, other asked me one hundred five.

For as long as Ive known 30 plus years this business has a horrible habit of taking advantage of elderly and young people quite frankly lying about things that need to be repaired especially for state inspection I give them less than 1 * if I could
