While the pay rate is barely average, the working conditions are extremely sub par.Training is little to non existent, And it will always come back to being your problem in some way during yearly reviews.Imagine if you will having roughly 35% of the job skills your environment requires. Now imagine everything you do is based on a time standard. That coupled with the rampant nepotism throughout several departments? makes it a downright miserable work environment.Your area managers and leads are usually great people that try to go above and beyond for their team.But- it’s their bosses (boss) who will only look at today’s metrics and not any long term internal issues involving anything mentioned above.I will say this is a great place to pass through- but not somewhere you’d want a career or long term employment over 2 years. That time could easily be spent at a company who values employees as much as it’s stock holders.Sponge up as much training as possible and get in overtime if it’s available, that’s the only way you will keep your head and bills above water here.As of recently the bonuses have been eliminated along with the pension program.(Unless you are salary, anything taken from hourly? Doesn’t affect them. They still get everything).Insurance rates increase yearly (as do copays etc) and local businesses out right refuse their vouchers for boots and prescription eye wear. The head of HR treats you like you are an inconvenience if you try to schedule a meeting to talk about anything mentioned above. There are many other employers in the valley that pay comparable, offer bonuses, and seem to have a legitimate interest in employee relations and their overall happiness.Anyone who has been there over 10 years is absolutely miserable.I’m glad I got out when I did, I actually enjoy going to work again. And that is Timken Aerospace in a nutshell.

I worked here for about 3 weeks, overall the company seemed amazing! I got along great with the gentleman who trained me and just enjoyed being at work. On my last day HR came down and requested my pass key something was wrong with it but it would be returned in the morning, not thinking anything of it I had no problem turning over my key and heading home with a smile on my face. I was a temp hired by Davids company to work for timken. I got a call right after my shift ended that I was no longer employed at Timken and not to show up again. What an awful way to loose a job. Thanks guys for the training, might want to work on your employee relations.

If you want a job that has a high expectation and refuses to compensate you for past experience, valuing nepotism, poor management, a poor ethic, demoralising staff, pathetic hiring system, and a filthy workplace. Then guess what? This is the job for you.10/10 worst place I ever worked
