Kenny the owner, is a great guy and wish he personally could have worked on my vehicle. The one mechanic that does work there had no idea what he was doing. I took my vehicle there for a rear main seal replacement first thing on a Monday morning. I had to personally call every day to get updates. It took 4 days for a job that was supposed to be right under 8 hours of labor. Thursday came, and I waited two hours just for fluids to be topped off, vehicle had not been test driven, electric third row of seats was not working, rpm gauge was spinning and not accurately working, and on top of all that, the overdrive off light was blinking on my dash. They claimed theyre computer would not connect to my vehicle but would with others. I left it there for them to get my vehicle back to how it was when I brought it in. Friday evening came, still no answers. I took my vehicle and went to a local part store where immediately 4 transmission codes came up. So on top of spending over 800.00 and not having a vehicle for a week, missing work, etc, my vehicle is in worse condition and I have to take it somewhere else to fix theyre mess up. Never again. I do not recommend this place because of the mechanic. If you dont know what your doing, then dont attempt to do it! Completely unacceptable!

BAD BAD PLACE OF BUSINESSMy truck sounded like it had a flat tire took it to this Absolute Auto worst mistake of my life the guy said brake caliber wheel bearing and struts so I said lets get it fixed! Reasonable rates I thought I paid for parts so he says this work will be done today oh wow great so this is Monday so at 5 pm he says Im not going to be able to finish had a couple more jobs okay sounds good well Monday leads to Friday evening pick truck up I stay roughly four blocks away so I parked it got up at 4am for work immediately when I get in it sounds the EXACT SAME WAY OMG so I go to his shop and what do you know there not open so Monday back at it he says cant get you in til Thursday take it back Thursday and he says same thing this guy is on METH TO FIND OUT HES UNLICENSED HE AND THR OWNER REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK AND TODAY WHICH NOW IS TUESDAY THEY WERE REFUSING TO GIVE ME MY VEHICLE WITHOUT SIGNING A PAPER IVE HAD TO GET POLICE INVOLVED AND EVERYTHING WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS IS THIS WHO HAS THE MONEY TO LET SOME JUNKY KEEP TWEAKING ON THERE VEHICLE now another place has to fix there work after 13 days of dealing with these people shame on them I have 5 babies😌😌😌

Went to get brakes done. But they said I could wait a while before the needed replaced. I guess to look at it only cost me over $150. And they added brake fluid and power fluid that I didn’t even ask for but had to end up paying for because it was already done. I miss when J.R ran this place. The whole environment seems dead since his absence but still gave it a try even though I had a feeling I would regret it. Only good thing I’ll say is that he was good at getting me in the schedule at last minute but wasn’t expecting that price for the work.

Had my motorcycle repaired here recently and these fellas hit it out of the park. Burt was referred by a friend, and may become my mechanic for life. Customer service was excellent and Brandon did a great job keeping me apprised of the work being done. My bike runs smooth as silk now thanks to the crew at Absolute. Ive also had auto repair here in the past and they do phenomenal work that fits the budget. Finally, a shop full of mechanics you can trust!

Brought my car in to get the thermostat housing bolt off and decided to let them fix it all together. They had it for 3 days before they even looked at it, never called me to let me know what was going on, took another 3 days to fix it, charged me almost $400, and I got it back with low coolant levels and the check engine light on. And to top it all off, its broken down in a parking lot, and I have to go fix it myself tomorrow. Whats the issue? The same exact issue they said they fixed. Never will I take it back to them.

Since ownership has changed this place has gone to the ground..... They tried to tell me I needed a $2,000 part to get my car running better when in all reality I just needed a new tensioner. I already knew this, just wanted to see what theyd say. Instead of 2k plus the $300 they wanted for labor i paid $179.56 at Advanced Auto and my vehicle is doing great.Horrible service and Im certain half the staff Is on some hardcore drugs. You walk in and they are nodding out in the lobby..... not good for business. I also asked for them to replace my brake light on my passenger side since it was already there and all they did was take the bulb from my reverse light and place it where the brake light goes. Whats worse is they charged me 5 bucks for a bulb that they didnt even purchase!!! To make it worse they put the wrong coolant in my vehicle. Its not hard to figure out what it needs, not just use what you have on hand causing more damage to an already 23 year old coolant system.Id recommend Advanced Auto for all your cars needs. The guy does not lie, he does amazing work, and his prices are great.i cannot stress this enough.....do NOT use the crooks at Absolute if you care for your vehicle.

Friend took her car there. Twice they said the problem she had was fixed but it wasnt. Plus when she got the car back the brakes didnt work nor the windshield wipers.

These guys are great. Been there 3 times in the last 8 months and theyve taken excellent care of my car. Theyre mindful of your time and try to get you in and out, and dont overcharge. They actually try to find ways to save you money, its very refreshing. I trust these folks completely.

I have yet to have a better experience with any other place. Ken especially is very thorough, consistent, and most importantly kind. Three work done is the highest of quality and done with the consumer best interest in mind. I send all my friends there.

I dropped off my 2004 Mercury Mountaineer to have the transmission checked. I was not informed of ANY fees or costs for any diagnostics when I dropped off my vehicle. I informed the person working the front counter when I dropped off my vehicle that the vehicle was under a warranty and provided them with a copy of the warranty. I also explained that I had a 1 week window to get diagnostics done and be informed of the prognosis.At the end of 1 week, I called Absolute Automotive and requested an update on my vehicle. I was told that my vehicle had just been pulled into a bay and was being looked at. I was told that I would be informed of the findings as soon as they were complete. 4 business days later, I received a phone call that the transmission and transfer case needed to be replaced and that Absolute Automotive had found used parts to replace my parts. I was then informed that my invoice would be over $3,200.00. I asked if they had submitted the invoice to my warranty company and was told that they were unaware of any warranties on the vehicle. I explained that I gave them a copy of my warranty information when I dropped off the vehicle. I was then told that they would contact the warranty company and let me know what I owed after the warranty company paid their portion.Today, I received a call in which I was informed that Absolute Automotive does not deal with warranty companies and that I was responsible for paying the full repair costs and the warranty company would reimburse me. Informed the clerk that my warranty does not work that way, because the repair facility is required to open the claim andnthe warranty company is not responsible for paying unauthorized repair costs. I was then informed that they would not contact the warranty because they did not enter into the contract with the warranty company.I was also told when I tried to get my car back that I would be forced to pay about $92.00 for a diagnostic fee that was not disclosed upon dropping my vehicle off. The ONLY saving grace for this portion was one of the people in the office said to change the fee to $45.00.Basically, Absolute Automotive employees refuse to do their job properly. If the Service Rider and owner are unwilling to properly do their administrative duties, what makes anyone think they will properly perform the actual physical labor on a vehicle? I would NEVER recommend anyone EVER use this company for any reason. I told the Service Rider that I would never do business with Absolute Automotive again and he responded with Thats OK. We dont want your business anyway. COMPLETELY HORRID customer service skills from a vompany that proved their worthlessness to me today.I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE EVER USE THIS COMPANY!

I was caught in a flash flood coming home from Mo. My axle was broken and I needed several other things done to my car. When I called around, Absolute had the best price and the fastest service. My car runs better than before the flash flood.

I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation and I also had them look into some potential problems that I had noticed during my last 6 months of driving. They got it all done in about 45 minutes. I believe I was met by the owner upon my arrival, Ken, he seemed like a nice guy. The mechanic who worked on my car as well as the one at the end who brought my car back both seemed knowledgeable and trustworthy about all my questions. I will be returning in due time for some repairs and new tires.Friendly and intelligent staff. They cleaned my windshield and vacuumed part of my car free of charge, not a big thing in the end, but it shows to me that they care about their customers.For anyone that has read the negative reviews, you know what they say, Haters gonna hate. I ask you to trust the positive reviews over the negative ones.

They had our mountaineer several weeks knowing when it was dropped off it was under contract with a warranty company. After several weeks they decided not to work with the warranty company said our transmission and transfer case were bad and wanted us to pay out of pocket over 3 thousand dollars then get reimbursed from the warranty company. The warranty paperwork that was left with them clearly stated to be covered the vehicle had to be in a shop, had to have an estimate by a mechanic, and that there would be no reimbursement. After some attitude we decided to pick up our car. I went with my husband who had word with one of their employees. When I walked in the car was on a lift and the door was down I assume to keep us from picking it up. Then everyone in the shop came in and stood behind the desk. I again assume to prove they were tough. Then they insisted on a 90 something dollar fee. Which got changed to a 49.95 charge. I simply said I would like to pay the fee and get the car. Instead of simply taking my money and letting us leave a man with Tyler on his shirt said I would have waved the fee, but you cussed at one of my guys so i didnt referring to my husband. My husband then said you dont have to worry about me I wont ever be back. Tylers response was we dont want your business anyway. Now, fast forward a month...I took the car to Zeck Ford. The transmission was fine just low on fluid. The transfer case was bad like they said. The warranty covered everything minus a few things. The quote cost was half what Absolute wanted not to mention they wanted us to pay over 3000.00 for a transmission that wasnt bad. They tried to con us and failed then were rude on top of it. Would never recommend this place and I am telling anyone I know of that looks for a mechanic how shady they really are. Consumer beware!

Went downhill. Great customer service from Hannah and JR. after the owner let them go, service and quality went downhill quick. Still things wrong with my car, that they’re now claiming is not under warranty when they had a chance to fix everything and give the bills to insurance. Not impressed anymore and I do not recommend these people. I’ll be surprised if it says up and running for much longer with this service.

I went to absolute for an oil change and a balance and rotate on my tires. Great service from Hannah and JR at the front desk. My car was in good hands with Randy. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants an honest place filled with professionals, not part timers who dont care about your vehicle like some other shops.

JR and everyone else at Absolute Auto are some of the best mechanics I have ever known! They are fair with pricing and never try to get you to pay for more work then is needed. They are all good people and good friends. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER again. I have had multiple work done here in the past, but I noticed the work hasnt been up to the past standard,( A lot of turn over in staff). I was charged for work on my truck and called back because it wasnt fixed. I took it to another local garage. The work I paid Absolute for was NOT DONE. I had to pay another garage for the job to be done, which fixed my truck and it drove perfect then. I returned back to Absolute 4 days later with my receipt from the 2nd garage...SHOWING I paid to have the work done AGAIN. I was called a liar, stating the other garage probably didnt do the work. Ken even called the garage to confirm the job was done. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, GO TO MITCHELLS or ACCURE TUNE, I hear really good things about them.

Nice enough folks but then again, most con men and snake oil hucksters are...Ran a test on my engine and jumped right to conclusion that i needed to replace the engine. Of course with lots of new other parts like water pumps, belts, hoses, plugs etc. All at I am sure an healthy mark up. plus juicy labor bill. $3600 TOTAL estimate.Totally unwilling to trouble shoot to determine exact issue(s).Knowing a fair amount about engines, and what it really takes to destroy one, from 28 years in the Army, i said no thanks and had car towed elsewhere.THANK GOD!!!!Problem was bad water pump.$585 parts, labor, AND TOWING.LESS THAN 1/6th of absolutes quote.Guess absolute in this case means whatever is the absolutely worst possible situation is what they are going to claim needs done.

Absolute professionals. Have brought my car there twice for oil consumption issues. They fixed it and advised against doing another procedure because it didnt make sense with my high mileage vehicle. This shows me they are not in it for the money. I trust them completely and would send my car there again in a heartbeat.

Absolute worst employer i have ever experienced 100s of unpaid hours trying to keep my last pay check for the hell of it paid 7 dollars for back breaking labor from sun up until way past sun down this place needs to be shut down and is reported to numerous agencies such as the BBB. Do not take your vehicle to these low lifes. Every one of them are on drugs and have Jerry rigged several vehicles

Friendly staff a little pricey didnt fix my daughters car and she went back twice

The mechanics do great work and know what they are doing but they left the inside of my vehicle a mess after taking the dash out, greasy finger prints on the headliner and a pillars, boot prints on the seat, some interior lights not working, etc....

This place wont be around much longer. I explained to the secretary who doesnt know anything about cars my lights wouldnt come on. Charged me to find the problem, told me Im looking at over $1000 worth of rewiring work. *(Marshalls found and fixed the problem for under $200. Stay away from these dishonest money vulture crooks

Best car care place. I have taken my van to this place 2 times and Im going to be taken back very soon they have been very good to me and my family.

Charged me for work they didnt do. Had to have the work done some where else. Tried to get my money back, and the owner refused, offered in store credit, I dont need in store credit from a place, I will NEVER return to!! Save your money, and go to a repair shop that will do the work they charge you for.
