I highly recommend going here if your a gamer. There is allot they have to offer here in ways of services and deals.Mostly in the used category though I love there new options as well. They have grown allot as a company. I will remain a customer here years to come.

Absolutely horrible experience. I bought a pop online for in store pick up, already paid for and everything, yet when I show up I was told it was sold to someone. No sorry or apology either. Instead they were extremely condescending, laughing as if it were funny. Like I get a hold isn’t 100% sure, but now it’s not even guaranteed to get something paying online to pick up in store?What a joke.The sad thing is the next day I did the same thing, but this time the guy had it behind the counter in a drawer so no one even had the chance to get it. Also had to ID too which makes sense. You would think every GameStop would be like this, but apparently not. Definitely won’t be going to the Leander location anytime soon, unless management changes. If I could give 0 stars I would. Such a shame.

The manager Barbara was sarcastic and rude from the moment I walked in. I needed to return an item, she made me seem like I was doing something wrong or unethical. She gave me Hassel even though I had receipt and was well within time frame of return. I will not be going back to this location anymore. If you dont like your job you should find a new one Barbara. Dont make your customers feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Thanks

The staff at this location are extremely unprofessional and lack common sense. I was sold a game and it did not work. They refused to exchange the game or refund my money. I asked to talk to the store lead and the employee refused to let me talk to them. My return was in required time limits. I am sure the employee was told by the store lead that they don’t have time to talk to me as a customer! I will be filling a complaint with Game Stop headquarters over $19.99. How ridiculous! Employees are a reflection of this stores poor leadership! Poor customer experience! Expect them to take your money and not give you the product you paid for !!!!!!!

Some average-sized redheaded manager was fighting and cussing at a customer...who, amazingly, stayed mostly calm. This happened in front of my kids....its a good thing there was a door to go out of....but I wont be going back through it! Seriously, what kind of a manger acts like that in front of kids --at a video game store of all places?If we see that hes still there when we go back to Leander, we will not be doing any more business with this store, or even Gamestop at all.

My friend (23) and I came here to buy a switch, Minecraft, Mario kart, and some other games including the Witcher for ps4 (I downloaded it on PC and it was so laggy I decided I wanted it for ps4). My friend, trying to be sweet, attempted to buy the Witcher for me but was rudely told they couldnt because they didnt have their ID on them. (They lost their ID recently but still despite having many obvious piercings and tattoos that screamed Im definitely not under 18 she nearly barked at them that she couldnt sell the game.)I, however, am 27 and presented my ID, the manager (who went out of their way to tell me this is my store) told me that she couldnt sell me the game since its just like buying alcohol for minors except its not. First off my friend is 23, and even if they WERE a minor i should have been able to buy that game since it was for me anyways and I am over 18.Besides that, the store selection was not very great, and the stock on the floor didnt match their actual stock. Had I not worked at GameStop before, I might not have known to ask about their back stock of Mario Kart 8 (which they had, but didnt have it on the floor). She informed me also that Minecraft wouldnt work anymore on the switch, and that they only had Mario Kart brand new- all of which she delivered with a snarky attitude.. so after the issue with the Witcher I just didnt feel like buying anything from her. It was uncomfortable.Honestly my main issue was with the manager. She presented herself very rudely and condescending and I was just disappointed and left without buying anything.At least the store was clean.

I diddnt catch his name but the big guy that seems like a manager is a huge jerk. He acts like he is better than everyone, and treats you terrible if you ask a question. I have been several times thinking he was having a bad day. But in all four experiences he was a massive jerk. The last time i was there i canceled three pre-orders and moved them to another location almost half an hour away just because of him

I went into this location on 2 separate occasions asking about the Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon release and if there would be a midnight release. BOTH TIMES I was told they would have a midnight release by 2 separate people. This is why I ordered the game here rather than somewhere else.I get there at 11:30pm and no one is there. I call the nearest location and they say the release was at 11pm and they could not give me one because I ordered it at this location. Im never buying something from them again. Im furious not only that I paid extra for a pre-release that I could not get, but that I was straight up lied to TWICE in order to get me to pay extra.

Horrible experience. I purchased a Bluetooth headset and it was to bulky so I decided to return it not only did I have to wait about 3 mins inside a empty store before being greeted but to be told that I opened the package and I can no longer return the item it wasnt even 18hrs since I purchased the item....really wooooow..

I unfortunately have a five month old and my visit was a few weeks ago..so I apologize for not remembering the names of the two employees who assisted me with my Switch trade in - but know this:Their customer service and positive attitudes embodies everything that a GameStop experience should be. They honestly should train every GameStop employee during onboarding because they generally cared about not only assisting me with my trade in which seems like a task for other places; but, they were happy to discuss other topics such as hobbies and gaming interest which I feel has been a missing piece of the experience for awhile.No need to go to another GameStop or purchase games from BestBuy anymore. I’ve found my new home for conversation, purchases, and gaming heaven. Believe the reviews and don’t waste your time going somewhere else. The two women were rockstars and their energy was so pleasant that I almost bought Bass Pro Shop, the game they used to test my switch because that’s how personable and attentive they were to me as a customer.I could ramble all day. You get the jist. They’re the best. Period.
