This store is a fabric and yarn store new in Friendswood having moved from the League City area. It seems to have more to choose from in the new location than in the old store. Im looking forward to seeing how the new location improves even more over time. The ladies there are very nice and helpful. I made a small purchase but will definitely be going back.

Great shop! I was vacationing in Galveston, and it was so worth the drive up. Huge selection of hand dyed yarns and natural fibers. Lots of Malabrigo, and Madeline Tosh. I’m not a sewer, but they had a ton of cute printed fabrics as well. Friendly staff. Organized, bright, and open layout. Very welcoming. Just go!

In my opinion, they were lacking in the fabric department. Half of the building was devoted to yarn, not something im interested in, so if you are, check it out. When I visited, they had at least 2 classes going on. One for yarn and one upstairs regarding clothing sewing. Staff was great. Very helpful and engaged with their customers.

I just moved to the South Houston area and was really excited to check out the LYS near me. I never got to go to the old location so I cant compare but the new location is super cute and spacious. It isnt a huge store but they still pack in so much yarn that I think it would be easy to find what you need for any project. The staff working were very cheerful and friendly so I knew I could ask for help if needed. I will definitely be back for more yarn

Absolutely a fabulous facility. I definitely would check this store if you need yarn, fabric, or any knitting and crochet supplies. Did I mention that I love this facility.

Beautifuly appointed space. Superior inventory. Pleasant, knowledgeable and welcoming staff. Park Avenue Yarns is a perfect destination for the fiber artist and sewist.

Absolutely best craft shop in Texas! Quality products, great selection, and unbeatable customer service. Be warned! Some days you may get the urge to go and just BE there amongst all the beautiful crafty textures and colors! I have not stepped foot into a big box craft store in quite a while because I’m absolutely spoiled at PAY. You work so hard for so many hours to make a beautiful finished product. You deserve to use the best materials because you are worth it!

A really great modern quilt shop. Amazing fabric choices and friendly employees. Also half yarn store, which Im sure is great but I have no need for. I cant wait for them to move to their new, bigger location!

Great service and lovely selection. The employee was really helpful and friendly. Also, she offered to wind the yarn I bought into balls, which was a huge help. Ill definitely be back!

Wonderful shop just bursting with every kind of yarn you could want. Staff & even other customers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Great that they are open 7 days a week since my work schedule is flexible. I like that they also have an area to sit & wk on my projects & visit with others.

This place has huge selection of yarn its a little pricey but the quality is amazing. Definitely go there if you are getting a gift for someone that does yarn work of any kind.And the lady that runs the place is so helpful. I almost bombarded her questions and she answered all that she could and she looked up the answers she didnt know. Definitely take an afternoon and go look around.

I wish Park Avenue was in my neighborhood. What a beautiful shop. I had 2 hanks of yarn wound and I realized I forgot my pattern and she knew the pattern and printed it out! It was such a nice visit.

Ive been a part of the P.A Y. (Park Avenue Yarns) family for a few years. As a male knitter, quilter, one that designs and sews, and crochets....Michelle and her amazing team are the best of the best!! Theyre ALWAYS cheerful and jovial, and its sincere! If you havent picked up yarn in a while....stop atP.A.Y., and theyll get you on your way, or you could stay and play!!! A MUST see! Did I mention its located in a beautifully, historically preserved cottage??? :-)

Great yarn shop. So many different yarns and lots of assessories, too.They have fabric, embroidery, and needle felting supplies.Dont miss their entire extra building filled with spinning supplies and fiber.I live a few hours away, but I visit this shop whenever I am in town.

Ive been coming here for three or four years now, and it is the best shop. Their yarns are incredible, and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. Theres a cozy little area with couches to sit and work, and they recently opened a fiber studio in the back. They have lots of wool roving for spinning or felting.

This is by far the best yarn shop in the greater houston area. They have very reasonable prices and great selection, staff is helpful and the shop is set up very prettily. Just wish they were closer to houston.

Best yarn shop around! Ive never seen a finer collection of high quality yarn and knitting supplies. The classes they offer are great for anyone who wants to try something new! The staff is very helpful and takes customer service to a new level when they help to fix mistakes or give experienced advice. I like to check out the selection of fabrics when Im there, I have alot of quilters in my life and I try and keep an eye out for a yard or two of interesting fabric. This place has it all! Walking in makes you forget where you were, because as soon as you see the shop you start plotting a course that will take you past every shelf. You tell yourself that you dont want to miss anything, so you begin to zig zag through yarns of every color, weight, and feel. Each shelf is treasure trove of hand-selected yarns that you cant help but pick up! You have to see this place for yourself!
