I have been coming to this dealership since I bought my SUV 4 years ago. Every time I bring it in to get serviced Im never disappointed. The service department employees are always welcoming, kind, courteous and funny! They never try and upsale me on anything I dont need and because of this service I will continue to come here for all my business!
Not impressed at all, they are acting like a typical dealership. They are inflating trucks like crazy. I looked up a certain truck, I told them out the door is 54000. Thats all it is worth and they wanted over 60000 with tax. My bank refused to touch it, the truck was a elevation, not at4 so the bank told me max its worth 45 the most. They inflated the price really bad. If you want to buy a domestic, then you will get ripped off. Go for something like Toyota, Hyundai, or Kia. They wont jack prices up and they even love helping out military. They dont price gouge. Toyota Bountiful sold me a truck, bank gave me all the money for financing, and its well worth it. I love my new truck.
We did not have a good experience. Thinking the sticker price was the full price of the car, we put $12,000 down and thought we would be financing approximately 15,000. Financial papers were set in front of us with sign here and here, intial here and here and we were sent on our way. At home we saw that we had financed 27,000 plus. Thinking something was seriously wrong we took the car back to cancel everything. We were directed to the financial department and everything was then explained in full as in extra warranties and added features to the car was included. We were also told we could not give the car back and cancel the contract because it had already gone through.Do we like the car? Yes. Would we go through your dealership again or recommend you to others? I highly doubt it.
I was browsing the website around 8:30 pm Sunday night looking at cars trying to see what I liked and didn’t like. I came across a Honda that I loved so I filled out the quick online application within minutes I had an email letting me know they are closed but will get in touch with me when they are open. I got a call 9 am the next morning and only had to give 5 min worth of information. Called me back an hour later and let me know I was approved! I was able to go to the dealership on my lunch break and get the entire deal done within an hour! This was the fastest I had ever purchased a car. They were very quick and courteous of my time. They were thorough and made sure we tested everything on the car before any paperwork was signed. Best experience I’ve had purchasing a vehicle

Poor communication. We made an appointment for a concern and were called at the end of the day to let us know they had gotten the oil changed but not looked at our concern….which was why we brought our truck in. Our truck was there all week and when we called to check on it, we were told it had been done for a day. That information would of been nice to know. We had another vehicle we wanted to get in that week but couldn’t do without two. Also a sales person kept calling to find out when our truck would be there for our free appraisal…..answer four times was it’s been in your service department since Monday. We were told we would get a discount on services when we made the appointment but that got forgotten…but kinda understood when the entire process was a hot mess.
The appointment I set was not scheduled when we arrived. My wife had a hassle getting in for a recall that WAS SCHEDULED! Jeremiah in service was the worst… very condescending towards my wife, she did not want to return, so I did… guess it’s just him because he spoke down to me too, was negative and didn’t care about customer service. HE SHOULD NOT DEAL WITH THE PUBLIC! I stopped coming to Young GMC of Layton years ago due to the consistent poor service after MJ left. Returned after a few years for a recall and had a decent service writer, decided things might of changed so started bringing in my fleet of vehicles… well Jeremiah ruined that. We will not be back.
We went looking for a new car last Saturday ab stopped by Young Buick GMC in Layton Utah. Even though there arent any new cars on the lot the team found us the Buick Enclave we were looking for. I took my 2021 encore in for an oil change. I had 5121 miles and the service advisor was Daniel Spencer. He said I should have the tires rotated too. He said itd take about an hour and I waited in the waiting room. About 40 minutes later he came and said it was done but that my alignment was off and that it was still under warranty. I told him to go ahead and do it. About 15 minutes later it was done and I was out of there. Good job!
Overall, our experience at Young GMC was great. Cody was an awesome sales member and helped us get into a 2012 Toyota Sienna that works well for our family. My only complaint would be that we ended up paying a bit more than we had planned to, but in the end we got a great vehicle with some great warranty packages to help keep our family safe. I would definitely recommend shopping through any Young dealership.
Would not recommend! I worked with the sales associate to get pre-qualified and paperwork moving over the phone and email. I wanted to drive down from Logan, sign the paperwork and drive away with our new Enclave as quickly as possible. We have an autistic son and another small child. There were a bunch of hidden dealership fees so we had to waste time figuring out the pricing. Once decided we waited 2 hours without anyone checking in with us or letting us know what was going on. I finally went into the office at 8:45pm and asked how much longer. The manager with his feet up on the desk playing candy crush on his phone didnt even stop playing to tell me they just finished with another customer and Ill be next. 30 minutes later I just had to asked for my down payment back. We left without our perfect car. It was a sad display of disrespect for our time and money and very poor customer service.
We moved from Texas and we went to Young Buick GMC at Layton UT location. Really nice, friendly, and helping associate. Whenever my husband call for something, quick response too ! We will go back for our next vehicle for sure.

I had an issue with the Young Chevy Fast track. They ended up setting off a sensor on my vehicle during an oil change and emissions check. To reset the drive cycle, I had to drive over 100 miles, and of course my registration was due. I was livid. My husband called Young Buick (not thinking and forgot he should have called Young Chevy.) Anyway, the people at Young Buick service department were absolutely wonderful. Helped me to get my emissions done and I can transfer my care service plan to them so I don’t have to bother with the fast track anymore. (I’ve had previous issues there before this one.) I had been freaking out about my registration and they were able to renew it on the spot for me. They were super understanding and had a meeting with their staff in regard to the situation. Austin and Benny really save the day and took a very angry lady and made her happy.
I would like to say I love Young Buick GMC. Not only that but Jeremiah from the service department is the best guy to help you with anything and everything you need! He’s so sweet and always so happy to help! I absolutely love the energy and the fact he TAKES CARE of his customers!! I worked with Austin James and Cole, both awesome to work with. Had a couple vehicles ready for us to test drive and made the buying process upfront and simple. The car could have been cleaned better for delivery, but I’m sure if I had asked they would have detailed it better.

This is the second time I have used Young Buick for routine service/ maintenance. And both times they have been amazing to deal with. Great customer service (a lost art in this day and age it seems) and no issues with the work performed. Only issue was an accidental grease smudge on the headliner and they remedied that immediately with no issues! Will continue to use them over any other GM based dealerships!
They have treated us great with both our purchases Jesse Welch is awesome definitely if you call her she will listen to all your needs and recommend the best car for you! If you know what you want she will help you get it. The only reason I have gave it a 4 star rating is because the service department and the accessory shop need to communicate better.

I listed my car for sale for $7,500. I was contacted by Nichelle at this dealership interested in purchasing it. I told her exactly what issues the car had and what work it might need. She said even with those issues we were asking a reasonable amount and they should be able to offer close to it. When my husband took the car in to have it appraised they offered $4,000. I understand they have to make money, but $4,000 is not close to my asking price. There was nothing misrepresented in my ad or conversation.The dishonesty is the reason for the 1 star. If they had been honest with me upfront it would have saved us both a lot of time and us a lot of inconvenience getting it there. My husband said before they appraised the car they sent out a salesman to try to get him to buy a car. To their credit my husband said he wasnt pushy.
My Sierra 1500 AT4 required a DEF tank replacement less than 24 hours after taking delivery. The maintenance took 3 days to complete, and when the technician refilled the new DEF tank the fluid was spilled all down the side of the truck under the fuel door. The DEF fluid was not wiped off, but allowed to dry, and damaged the paint. The owners manual has a caution indicating that DEF fluid must be wiped off painted surfaces to avoid paint damage, but the technician either didnt know this, or didnt care. I have an appointment to have the paint issue looked into. More to follow.

Our experience at Young Buick GMC was the best I believe we have ever had when looking for a vehicle. Our sales person Jessie Welsh was not pushy and she walked us through the entire process. If she different have an answer to one of our questions she went and got us an answer. I have already given her name to other family members and friends recommending her if they ever want to buy a vehicle.
Ordered a new Tahoe on may 14th. I was told I would get bi weekly updates, have not received ONE update. I’ve called twice and have been told they will call me back, NO CALL BACK. Finally get a hold of our sales rep Beatrice, who says she will give me a call back tomorrow by 1pm with an update, NO CALL BACK. Call again today, and Beatrice is out of the office of course. So then I ask to speak to her manager, goes straight to a FULL mailbox and can’t leave a message. Call back again, no one answers. The customer service here is the worst I’ve EVER experienced. They will contact you every hour on the hour and then once they get your money they could care less. Never using them again. And whoever reads this that works for Young…. CALL ME BACK WITH AN UPDATE!
The service advisor was friendly and professional, and the service was completed in a reasonable amount of time. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a video of the multi-point inspection that was performed, something I have never had done before.
I posted my car for sale on ksl.com. Based on the medium value of blue book it was worth $19,500. So thats how I posted it. Sarah from the dealership called me multiple times to set up an appointment because they wanted to purchase my vehicle. She was very nice. She is where anything good stopped with this dealership. I scheduled an appointment, took time off, and brought my car in. I was supposed to meet Sarah. Instead a salesman at the door told me that she was not available and I needed to speak with him. He brought me back to the first office. The first thing I noticed is that the inside of the dealership was not very clean. Weirdly there was a stack of macaroni and cheese boxes in the corner of the lobby.With no information about my car, and having walked around it only one time he said he had to speak with his manager. Then he brought me back a price and said they would only give me $10,000 for it. Its not worth as much as I wanted because it had some rim rash.So rim rash cost me $9500???He wasnt willing to negotiate unless I was willing to buy a car back from them.A dealership up the road offerd me $17,500. Then Two days later another dealership paid me $18,000 for the car.Quality used vehicles are hard to come bye this year. Their inventory was definitely low. So Im surprised they tried to treat me this way.Based on this experience I dont trust this dealership.

The service department is Awesome 5 star. The reason I would not deal with the sales department is they never in the past follow thru. Yesterday the sales department was very unprofessional horsing around in the show room. I will never buy a vehicle from Young!
Would never deal again with this dealership. Sales team lying during sales cycle, after sale and during service. Made mistakes in Title and take a year to get corrected. Calling during business hours Sales, Support and Parts departments - someone is hanging up the phone calls. Is this dealership going out of business?
My wife Peggy and I worked with Jessie over the phone, she was just awesome right from the start. We talked to Jessie over the phone later in the day, she said she had a deal for us. It sounded too good to be true. We thought what the heck we will go out to the dealership anyway. It was the best deal in town and the best experience either one of us had ever had. The people at the service dept have been great. I had Bridgestone tires on my new GMC Denali. It completed shredded at 183 miles. The service dept along with Austin were able to have GMC replace the tires with Michelins. I bought two and GMC bought two. I had no faith in the Bridgestone tires after the delamination. The only issue was the finance person who told me if I would have bought the tire warranty it would have been covered. Bad timing on his part. I told him at 183 miles it was covered. He needs to work on his people skills and timing. I could go on but I wont. Everyone else was fabulous. thank you for the prompt attention to the matter. Accolades to Danny, Matt and Austin.
Jessie was our salesperson and she was great. Open honest and straight forward. The only reason for 4 stars was the Finance person we signed paperwork with wouldnt take no for an answer about the add-on features. I had to tell him no multiple times and he wouldnt stop pushing them until I threatened to leave without the vehicle. Once that happened he was quiet and made the paperwork portion awkward.Overall it was a good experience and if you get Jessie you are in great hands!

Just purchased a 2019 Sierra 1500 AT4 from Austin. Customer service was great. It was honestly the easiest car purchase I’ve ever made. Go buy stuff from these guys.
Let me tell you about my (Dodge) Journey and how amazing this team is.We found a car we liked, did the test drive, trade-in/buying process were painless thanks to Gage Lovell. Here is where the fun begins.We get the car home Saturday (4/10) night and the check engine light comes on (cylinder 2 misfire). I call Gage and let him know what is happening. Without skipping a beat tells me to bring the car in and they will look at it. I get to the dealership and start working with Russ Seagar. He tells me the service department is gone for the day, but wants to fix the check engine light. He keeps the car and gives me a loaner for the weekend (not that it matters but got to drive my dream Dodge Challenger for the weekend).Monday (4/12) comes around and I get the call my car has been looked at. They think because of the engine detailing they perform as part of their inspection the spark plug got wet and this is what was causing the issue. I get my car back and thought nothing of it. Until later Monday night the dang check engine light came back on.Tuesday (4/13) morning I call Russ back and let him know. He tells me to bring the car back in and they will look at it again. I get to the dealership and they pulled the codes and got the same ones as before. They reset it and let me know that the computer might have just stored the codes and after a full engine cycle it might go away. I think nothing of it and continue on my journeyWednesday (4/14) night the curse of the check engine light just will not go away. I call the dealership and talked with Jess Welch and brief her on the situation. Faster then I can say I am bringing the car back she tells me they have a loaner lined up and ready to go.The dealership then took my car and sent it to their dealership in Morgan that specializes in Dodges on Thursday (4/15). Later that day the let me know that it is a leaky head gasket and they will be replacing it with no cost to me. They also replaced all of the spark plugs and did an oil change while they had it.Now to the end of my Journey. We were finally able to pick up our car on Friday (4/23). We have put close to 300 miles on it so far and no cursed check engine light.After everything that happened and how well we were taken care of after the purchase of our car I will not be shopping for cars anywhere else.

They are very unorganized! They don’t find the lowest interest rate! They have not sent out the license plates for the new vehicle and the temp tags expired weeks ago! I would not recommend buying a vehicle from them EVER!!

This is going to be a long review... if you’re looking for the short version:Bad customer serviceTERRIBLE communicationAlways have an excuse instead of admitting they messed upI bought a truck from this dealership. It was great at first. But after I signed the papers everything went downhill. They promised they would flush all the fluids when I bought the truck including transmission and transfer case fluid. All they did was an oil change. They couldn’t be bothered to inform me of my license plates arriving so I had to call them to ask where they were when my temp tags were about to expire. Apparently they had been there for a week but “forgot to call me”. Went in to get a noise checked out that the truck started making. Was treated horribly. They just kept saying “yeah okay. Okay yeah. Sure.” While walking around very obviously not actually listening to what I’m trying to explain to them. They cleared the noise as normal and sent me on my way. I’m now experiencing power steering and computer issues. I told them to LEAVE THE VEHICLE ON so they could run the codes as turning it off will reset the computers, therefore making the code reset. (I only have the issue after driving for a while, the truck is perfectly fine when you first start it up). They said okay and they’d give me a call back later that evening with an update on any findings and pricing for repairs. I was there for about 20 minutes waiting for the shuttle (which is no problem at all). While I was leaving I noticed my truck still exactly where I parked it (after 20 minutes, you’d think they would have moved it) and it was shut off, so they obviously didn’t listen when I told them to leave it on. I waited until almost closing time THE NEXT DAY to ask what was going on (remember I was supposed to get a call back the same day... never got it). Was told they thought they called me but they are keeping it until Monday since they can’t find any issues, but don’t even have a loaner car to lend me while keeping my car for now 4 days. Without even informing me they planned on keeping it this long. I asked if they got the note I told them the previous day about what I suspect the issue being, the note was never written down or mentioned to any techs working on the truck. I went into the dealership to get my truck back, and was told a completely different story about how they only have 1 service tech and he isn’t working today so none of the vehicles are being worked on, and the guy at the desk is just “covering a shift so doesn’t know what’s going on.” I also noticed my truck parked outside, cold, so it wasn’t recently moved. It had been out there for hours. I regret buying a vehicle from this dealership, and will never come back for a repair and will definitely not buy a vehicle from this dealership or any “Young” auto group.

I got a good vehicle for a decent price. There were a few employees that I liked but my overall customer service experience was very poor. I made an appointment to see a specific car, upon my arrival come to find the car was not even on the lot. I was asked to return later that day, I returned when I was asked and was told I had to wait because they had other customers that had appointments. I waited and then come to find the car was still not on the lot. I chose to look at a similar car while they tried to find the car I was wanting to see, after finally getting the car that I scheduled to see on the lot we waited hours to be able to sign paperwork. after purchasing the car my temp tags expired and they still did not have my license plate in. We called for a week straight leaving voicemails wondering if we could get new temp tags they told us to come on in and they would take care of it, we drove down there and then were told that they were unable to take care of it and to come back Monday and they would see what they could do.

I inquired about a car at this dealership even though I’m in North Carolina and they are in Utah. I dealt with the most helpful, friendly, customer service oriented gentleman at this facility. His name is Gauge vest and he is super awesome. This dealership knows what it means to be accommodating to their customers. I highly recommend them.

I am in need of a comfortable truck with towing capabilities. I was recommended Young Buick GMC by a family member that has been there before. The salesperson, Ryan, helped me out with a Diesel Denali. I had been to some other dealers and Ryan was definitely more personable and friendly than any of the other salespeople. He was also knowledgeable about the truck and its safety features and towing features. I would highly recommend Ryan and Young Buick GMC in Layton if you need to buy a feature filled truck.

Nice truck, 2021 3500 Denali. Dealership has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced purchasing a new car...I’ve purchased, Ford several times, mercedes, Lexus, Toyota, dodge, Jeep, and Chevrolet. 2nd worst was Toyota in bountiful. Best by far was Mercedes in Farmington. Young sent me off with an unwashed truck, none of the technology was set up, DEF tank was only filled to 1/3, scratch on hood, and not all purchased accessories where with the truck. I’ve tried calling but was sent to voicemail and no return call.. GMC direct was no help either. Way nice truck, too bad the whole experience was so terrible..
Terrible service department, bought a 2021 GMC Elevation from young Buick GMC, had them put a tunnel cover on it. The rail on one side was to long. I did notice that the tail gate did not latch properly before the spray in liner was applied. Once the liner was applied then it made the rail stick out farther causing the tail gate to pop open. Had my trailer hooked up when it popped open as I was driving, and the tail gate was damaged $800.00 to repair. Young GMC says it’s the spray in liner company’s fault for not reinstalling the tunnel cover properly. I disagree I believe that the rail was to long from the start when Young GMC installed it. Bottom line if you buy from them and have a tunnel cover installed make sure your tail gate closes properly before you drive away. Also the service manager I talked to was a very unfriendly.
10/10 Best dealership to work with if you live in Utah. They have a great team.

Young GMC was great. We worked through a few different vehicles before we decided on a 2021 GMC 1500.
I went in with terrible credit and knowing I wasnt going to be able to trade in my vehicle as much as I needed to. Gauge, the sales rep, put an end to my doubt and within a short amount of time and A LOT of hard work, he got me into a 2020 Hyundai Elantra while also making me feel like I just earned a friend. Id recommend this dealership and, Gauge to anyone on the planet.

I was taking my new Terrain in for its first service. Got the appt I needed, had a very short wait time, and received a video of the Terrain underbody to demonstrate that they performed an excellent visual review of the vehicle. Never had that before, appreciated the explanation as the tech walked thru the video, awesome service!!!!!!I will insist on this Service Dept from this time forward, LOVE my new Terrain!!!

Everything was perfect, until my sales person and her supervisor told me what I was asking for was included and the day I came in to purchase my vehicle, it was not. This was almost a deal breaker. I feel that this should not have happened but Beatriz and Jason were otherwise so accommodating and helped to find a solution. I had been looking for a vehicle for approximately 4 months and found other dealerships not so accommodating or helpful. Except for the one glitch, I believe I had a very positive experience with Young Automotive. It would be helpful though, if the final purchase wrap up with the finance dept would go a bit quicker. OVERALL, THANK YOU! A huge shout out to Beatriz, she is such a knowledgeable sales person and you should be grateful to have her on your team.

They made a bad experience a positive one.
We had a pesky engine oil leak and put our trust in their service department team to repair. Our experience with them all includes; Debbie, Danny, Ryan, and Sharon. They were awesome and very professional in the service they provided!! On our initial visit we left our 06 cadillac for diagnosis. We then were given the estimate repair later that day. The cost to repair was less than other estimates we had received and we had to decide, was it worth the expense or should we sell or trade in at a loss because of the leak!! We are very happy with our decision!! The Cad has 113,000 mi on it, is in very good condition, aside from the oil leak, and has had excellent care!! We decided to have them repair. We were told it would require approximately two days to repair. After repairs were complete and we picked Cad up, and took it for a long drive to find out if oil leak had stopped. We noticed a small drop of oil on garage floor, so called Danny to report. He said bring in and Ryan would check it out. We did and Ryan determined it was old residue from initial leak. He recleaned under engine area and car was released to go home leak free, which it has been since. We would like to say that we are very happy and satisfied with the Service Department Team at Young Buick in Layton, and would surely recommend them!!! THANK YOU!

We are first time truck owners and bought a truck at Young GMC and had a very positive experience. We started our search not knowing which kind of truck we wanted. Jason Poulsen was patient, helpful and respectful. He answered all of our questions and was not pushy. After several different trucks and trips back we bought a truck we love!
Gauge vest was our sales men and was great to work with. He was straight to the point and got you what he thought was the right deal. The environment wasn’t pushy, they wanted to know what you were comfortable with as a price point but still wanted you to be happy with your purchase. I’ve had a bad experience with young in the past, but this was a whole new experience. I’f you plan to purchase I’d highly recommend gauge!
Listed my car on KSL and received a call from Nichelle that they were interested in buying my car and that she saw no reason that they couldnt buy it for what I was asking or close to it. I set up an appointment to bring the car over for them to checkout and negotiate. When I got there no one was in the lobby. I waited for 5 minutes, nothing. I went to the parts department and was told that Nichelle was in a meeting and that I could wait for 45 minutes. I found someone else in their office on their phone and asked if this was right, which he said no I can help you. I was then offered almost 45% lower than what I had it listed for. I told them that this is not what I had been told over the phone and that there was no way. I was tapped on the shoulder with the offer and was told hope you didnt drive to far, we will see you later. The man turned his back immediately and ripped the offer in half and went to the garbage can.Stay clear of this place.
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have purchased 8 cars in the last 3 years from these guys for my fleet. We needed a family car so we went to these guys. We leased a buick from these guys and paid for the extra lease protection in the beginning when we leased so we wouldnt have any extra hidden charges when we finished our lease. At the end of our lease we turned in our buick to them and we were told we were good to go and didnt owe anything. We later received a bill in the mail saying we owed over $800.00 in lease fees. Plus they dinged my credit score. Very dishonest sales people, recommend going to an honest dealership. I will take my fleet purchases to an honest dealership.
