Very refreshing experience! We’ve been to a few used car places and had an overall negative experience (very pushy salesman, delaying for hours, etc.). This was completely different. Came to look for a used car for my son. Kory came right out and greeted us. He was very helpful, friendly and professional. We never felt any pressure. Great cars for the price. We were able to quickly negotiate and didnt have to play any games. This is how car buying should be done. Also note they do not tack on tons of hidden fees. Just documentation which is standard and they charge a very modest price, far less than what most others try to get away with. 5 stars.

I love that the price shown is the amount they charge (excluding state tax, doc and registration fees), but no haggling on other pointless fees. I came in with a rate and Ben in finance came back with a rate that was 0.5% lower than I had. The first time we went to Hertz was last Spring shortly before quarantine. Wed been shopping at another dealership where the experience was terrible. We decided to try Hertz on a recommendation from a family member. It was the exact opposite experience from the previous place! Hertz let us drive anything we wanted to test drive without following us all over and hounding us with questions. We ended up going home to think about it and then covid hit. We decided to wait. When things settled down and it was time to start looking again Hertz was exactly where we wanted to go. Cam was great! He helped us find the vehicle we wanted in the price range we needed. Ive bought many cars from various dealers during the past 40 years, so I was prepared to haggle the price down to what I thought was a fair price. First thing I noticed was that the price of my truck was already below my target price, so I didnt have to stress over haggling. Also, I was impressed that Hertz maintains there rental cars, so youre not getting hidden problems. Dan and his team were very friendly and helpful, making the whole experience pleasurable. When I need to buy a late model car Ill go back to Hertz for great service and the best deal in town!

We found the Rubicon we bought online. We drove from South Jordan to Layton to see the car. Kory Ballard was our sales person. He was was excellent! A real pleasure to work with. We paid cash, so the paperwork was fairly easy. We were most disappointed in the finance person (no names) that handled that paperwork. It was all done in a timely manner. Our experience with him was not favorable. He did not come across as being a people person at all. He was not exactly rude, even though he made a couple of comments that we felt were not necessary at all. Luckily, we left the dealership with Kory taking our picture with our new car and wished us the best. It is just too bad that one person can give a negative impact on what could have been a complete positive car buying experience. And....that doesnt happen often for sure.

Overall a let down of an experience. We did walk away with a great jeep but the overall experience was subpar. Our cosigner was in town for a short time so we asked the paperwork be ready when he came in so he wouldnt have to wait. They said they would have it ready so all he had to do was give a couple signatures, The paperwork was not ready we ended up waiting over an hr, A week after we purchased the car we learned they had not done safety and emissions so we had to get that taken care of and get them the documentation to them so they would mail us the plates with a full refund. We were not refunded at all. And one of the reasons we went through a dealership was so itd be handled at once and it clearly wasnt. Dan was too busy selling us a car and someone else a car to properly take care of us.
