My mother inlaw needed wood at 11:00 on a Saturday, and it was really nice to find a place close to home that had what she needed.

I was so happy to find a local building materials company open on Saturday morning. That let me know they didnt mind dealing with the average homeowner...since Saturday is when we get to do our home projects. The service was just that...service. Someone actually helped me while wearing a smile and treated me as if they appreciated my business. They are even open late enough that I can get there after work during the week. What nice folks! I dont know the mans name who waited on me, but he was very kind and friendly. Its nice to find a place big enough for contractors, but still willing to help the homeowner.

A good small privately owned establishment that treats customers the right way.Got lumber for a project, customer service was great,prices were fair and good made of good quality.We get lumber from here and nails and screws and everything r need for our ducks we raise on our little farm.They also have a lot of Dewalt power tools and other brands and anything you could need for your home projects.

Been buying lumber here for years, but no more. Bought $130 worth of lumber and asked to have 1 of the plywood boards ripped twice. The guy just pushed it through the saw not even close to what I asked for. Ruined the board. He should of just told me he didnt want to do it, and I would of went somewhere else. Wont go back.

Not often you see these local hardware stores, but this was better and the folks were more helpful than Home Depot or Lowes!

Went in at 10 after 4 for a half sheet of plywood. The sign on the door said they close at 5. They wouldnt start closing early until December 4th. I was told they could not cut the sheet of plywood because the back was already locked up. But I could pick up the half sheet in the morning if I wanted to. Went down the street to Parkes Lumber, I got there at 20 after 4. They close at 4:30. When I asked if I could get a half sheet they said sure and he went out and cut it in self personally to make sure I could get it before they closed. I got my lumber in my other items I need it for my project there, and was gone by 4:35. Im not sure what other family members have left reviews for Brinks Lumber climbing High customer service, but they are most assuredly not known for their customer service. I recommend everyone go to Parkes Lumber if you really want to see what customer service is all about.
