This is an upscale university bookstore. The gear selection is good. The product quality is good. The facility and layout are very good. The service is friendly and helpful, in a laid-back way.Some will complain because of the cost of low volume custom products. It is the same at any university bookstore. If you want these premium custom products, just pick what you like and hand over your credit card.

Not allowing shelf browse for textbooks anymore because of covid. Put us in a long line to wait for our books which was worse for covid than independent browsing. Ugh.

This is one of the bigger book stores I have seen. It is a typical campus book store with higher prices on most items. However, they run good sales a lot and give percentage off often to students and alumni. Parking is not bad as it is connected to a parking garage. Additionally, the building has many other things to see like museums and food options. Overall, nice place to find jayhawk stuff and other college essentials.

Really good sales going on but there were no Small, Medium, or LG sizes in almost evthg to choose from!!

Literally have never gotten a single order correct in the 4 years I have attended and takes months to fix. (I understand this is a weird semester, but this happened before COVID as well.) Consistently told incorrect answers that cause my order to be delayed even further. Their online ordering system is atrocious and just plain glitchy and confusing to navigate. Just go through a third party as chances are high you wont even get the correct textbooks at all, let alone in time for class. I would do so myself if I didnt rely on sponsorships to pay for my textbooks. For such a well-known, respected university, youd think their bookstore would at least accomplish bare minimum. Excited to graduate this semester so I never have to deal with them again.

Awesome store for ANYTHING KU! Parking in Mississippi Street garage on 4th floor has you right by their door!

I found the perfect jacket for my husband online but they didnt have his size listed. I contacted the store and Rosemary and Sandy were able to find me one! Such great service and youre really going to make his birthday! :) Thank you!!

Helpful staff and affordable prices in the clearance section. Some staff discounts. The bookstore closes at 5:30 PM, and sometimes the hours are challenging. One evening day, as hard as I know that that is to manage, might help.

Their tech shop has very poor services. I took my laptop in and they kept it for a week and then told me they couldn’t fix it, even after I showed them pictures of the problem. Would not recommend.

Extremely frustrating and disappointing experience trying to get textbooks through the bookstore. Ordered early used copies of my books and get a call weeks later that only NEW copies are available which is $200 more than the used copies. I felt extremely mislead and taken advantage of which I relayed to the manager. They refused to do anything even though one of their own employees lied straight to my face. They are not there to serve students first, their primary goal is to make as much money as they can. I will not be shopping for textbooks here in the future and I advise other students to go through Amazon.

Lots and lots of KU items. Some a little pricey, but you can cut the cost by showing a KU ID.

Tried to get an access code that I purchased but I didn’t receive but they didn’t help me with that at all. Now I have to pay $90 to gain access to a website that I already paid for because of their mistake.
