Gateway is the best! I moved here from FL, and while I was down there my car started having issues. I took my car to 3 places down there and nobody could figure out the problem. After some time, it seemed like the issues subsided, so I stopped asking places for help. Recently, the problem resurfaced, so I took my car to Gateway. They LISTENED and took care of my car right away! I just drove it home from their shop and the problem I was having is gone!! I cant thank the mechanics at Gateway enough for hearing me out and finding a solution.

Super friendly folks. Hit a busted tire on the road and they fixed a few parts of my car (in addition to fixing a rattling sound that had been driving me crazy for months - turned out there was a rock in a pipe) and it was SO much cheaper than I expected! Great service, highly recommend!

Steve and the guys at Gateway are great. Always timely with repairs, honest and up front. I was pressed for time the other day and needed a 10 min fix but they were booked out over a week in advance. One of the guys hooked me up right then and there. I cannot fault their customer focus, a true professional outfit.

Driving to Denver this past June my car broke down in Lawrence and I had it towed here. These guys worked really hard to get me back on the road and it ended up being a big job. Also everything was explained and they showed me what was going on and what they needed to do. The repairs were under warranty and they helped with that. Plus gave me suggestions for things to do during my unscheduled vacation in KS. It’s stressful breaking down on your way to a job, these guys understood and were really helpful.

Ive been taking my car to Gateway for a few years now and am always pleased with the service and have full trust in them. These guys are definitely not in the business of selling you something your car doesnt need; in fact, a number of times theyve encouraged me to wait on things I thought needed attention then. Ive never felt rushed there, as Steve and Randy have always taken time to answer my questions and explain the work. And best of all, the work has always been done right! Their prices are also competitive with other small shops and certainly much, much cheaper than the same services being performed at dealerships. I highly recommend Gateway Auto.

These gentlemen were excellent at their craft.They are wholesome, community-oriented individuals who provided great service and empathetic information.I originally went here because I needed to use their Lifesafer Ignition Interlock services. So I then started leaving my car for an oil change here and there. Then I started to trust them more and ask them for bigger jobs.After having the device removed, I continue to use their service and recommend them.

Dougs is the best place in town for auto repair.

I took my car there because the brake light is on. They spent a day or two checking on my car then said there are some brake fluid leaking but didnt know why. So they charged me about $60 for filling up my brake fluid without ever figure out the real problem. Firestone can perform much better service than these guys.

Gateway has been my go to men for 18 years. I trust them and they have never ever lead me down the wrong path .They are a great group of honest people, and that is not easy to find now days .I recommend them to anyone .
