Got a great deal on a Civic in early March. First off, the car was supposed to be ready in the morning on my pickup day. I wasn’t able to pick it up until almost 3pm. I was promised two keys to the car and only received one. Less than a month after getting my car, it started having issues with the radio. A few days following that, I needed to call roadside assistance to jumpstart my car then had to go in to get a new battery. This took well over two hours because they wanted to do a full diagnostic on the car. I asked about a second key for my car while I was there and was told I would need to pay for it. It wasn’t until September that I was actually able to get an additional key (which again was promised to me by the salesman). Now, about 6 months later, I’m having electrical issues again. My windows frequently do not follow the command of the window controls and my radio is having issues again. The review about this dealership charging 20k for a junkyard car is true. Don’t go here.

(which I though I am going to make some bargain to bring down from MSRP listed, but now he pushed up from Honda comp allowed for sell).While I am confusing with the 3K he wrote, he continue to misleading me as said: Now all of other Honda Car dealers around area did the same as recently, no matter where you going to... I told him that I searched all Honda Dealer cars around before came here, and did not see that 3k up price add on as he said, but only saw some mentioned 1k usd Incentive to Buyers who bought HONDA cars before this Sept 2021. ...Then I saw the color on his face changing fast....He was not respond to mine but stand up and left the desk real quick go toward Manager office. Few minutes later he came back, and asked me if I really want to buy car today, h would take that 3k off the MSRP. I said yes, if you reduce that MSRP $500 less with the 1k Buyer rebate. He returned to his Manager office again, this time took him longer in there.... Then he came back with his boss, a shorty round face man, unfriendly looking at me. This boss answered client very loud voice: NO !!! just one word.Then he watching me with his eyes...... Feeling uncomfortable with a business lie and rude going here. I stand up and walk away, out of the door.The next day, I bought that car model at another dealer up 93 North, their competitor dealer. There, the service totally much different.PS: I did told them that I was their dealer loyalty client, who was purchased 5 cars for entire family from this dealer during the last 20 years in Methuen area.... Seem now the Sale and Services depts. all changed their attitude of services. Hope the Covy would not shut down their business, so they could look back to improve the services to under served clients in the area, whose are included the English as their second language.

While I totally understand the staffing shortages that everyone is experiencing, commonwealth needs to implement a way that customers can communicate with them besides calling, being transferred all over the place, disconnected. My car is there now having 2200 worth of work done over the course of 3 days. I have made 4 calls attempting to simply request an inspection is done after the work is done. I am not asking to get anything done asap, not asking anyone to hurry- just order an inspection at the end of the repairs. Because my service guy is always busy, which is understandable, I cant get through to him. I have asked the phone operators to get a message to him about doing an inspection. I dont even need a call back, but 2 have refused to deliver a message,, and the most recent said she would try but couldnt be sure he would get the message. He has no voicemail, he has no email, he has no way to receive a message while at wotk?? This is the most bizarre set up. Im in the veterinary field so I feel your pain on staffing and volume, but I also dont have all day to sit on the phone trying to unsuccessfully get a message to Steve in service!
Buying a car from here was truly my biggest mistake in life. Not only did they sell me a car that was rear ended and showed a clean car fax, but they try their best to take your money in every single way. Normally, dealerships DONT charge to look at tires, brakes, struts etc when you buy a car from them. Commonwealth does. I used to actually work here too, and they ALL lie when it comes to deposits (getting it back if you aren’t approved) selling cars that have junkyard parts but claim it’s certified and the list goes on. Service today the dude argued with me over calling to see if my warranty covers struts etc, and the “manager/boss” is a complete cherry on top, with how rude she is. Spoke down & aggressive thinking I was swearing at the employee meanwhile I was on the phone talking about how they charge $125 TO LOOK at the car I PURCHASED from them! “Nothing is wrong with it” so now I’ll take it for a second opinion because I KNOW there’s something wrong with my car. Moral of the story, if you want a junkyard car for 25k, buy one here. If you’re smart, go somewhere else!!!!!!!!!

I called a few different Honda dealers looking for a replacement key and this was by far the worst one. Both people who I talked to seemed way too busy to help me and they were not very friendly at all. Definitely don’t recommend going here.

RESPONSE TO ANSWER BELOW: MY NEW CAR IS IN MY SPOUSES NAME- FERNANDO ESTRELLA AND WE WERE THERE ON WEDNESDAY OF LAST WEEK 06/30 FOR AN OIL CHANGE. I had an oil change here in Honda...The quality of service was TERRIBLE. First off the attendant was lacking in any form of happiness. I understand it was early but my goodness give me a smile at least. Secondly, I paid $200 to detail my car in another shop before getting an oil change and when the car was returned to me after the oil change there was OIL STAINS EVERYWHERE!! On the motor (which was detailed), inside the car on the steering wheel and all over the seats. The middle console was full of oil stains! I was very underwhelmed with the service- As if I didnt use my money to pay for the service. Never again.

Came here for walk in oil change. Was going to another Honda dealership. The last 3 times Ive gone they said were not going to do walk in oil changes. They changed their mind. Because customer service and customers always right. This time today I went and they refused so I came here to Lawrence and the woman said no problem we can take you right in. Want to say that Ill never go Back to other Dealership EVER again. The Service in Lawrence is very good and they understand Customer Service. Even more I own a Honda vehicle. When I get ready to Purchase my next vehicle Lawrence Commonwealth will get my Business always. I hope that these dealerships learn you will lose customers over small things. He asked for background info about the car and gave feedback promptly. Ryan, a service personnel is very customer friendly and get back to me as soon as the diagnosis is done with honest estimates . My advisor was Steven McAllister. If I could give 6 stars because of him I would. Every time I’m there, it’s always a long wait but when I have him, he continuously checks on me with updates on how my car is doing and how much longer in time. He always makes sure the customers are well taken care of. During my recent visit, I stayed in the waiting room. He stopped in and noticed we were watching the TV on mute so he went over and turned it off mute so we had something to watch and listen to while waiting. Someone give that guy a raise.

My seatbelt stopped working in my Honda CRV so I brought it to Honda in Lawrence and was told it will be covered under warranty and they will replace it. The next day we get a phone call back from them and the Service rep said they cannot replace it under warranty and it will cost $800. We question why that was because we were reassured it would be covered under warranty. We asked questions and the manager told us she can pick and choose who she works with and she doesn’t like our attitude, so we asked to have the car put back together so we could take it elsewhere then they said we needed to pay a diagnostic fee because we signed an agreement then we told them we did not sign anything so she got extremely rude and told us we could pick up the car. When we arrive to pick up the car the seatbelt was never put back together we are extremely unsatisfied with Honda in Lawrence!
I strongly recommend this place. I have got three different vehicles with them and I have no complain about the logistic that they apply there. I have gone to Kia and Honda, and from this last one, I especially would recommend two people who made my experience pleasant and amazing: Jordan Adames, Salesman, and John Murray, Business Manager. They really worked hard and did their best to find a wonderful offer for me. I surely would go back with them! I’m really happy and satisfied with all the process and attention.
Inexperienced sales staff tried to scam a 55 year old guy by blowing smoke up my behind. Didnt go well for them. I walked out and got a much better deal with no hassle at Honda North in Danvers.
Dropped my car off for major service. The place is so clean and the technicians are super nice.
The worst place to buy a car. I buy a brand new $39,000 dollars mini van and at the time to pick up the van was scratched. The employee with name Hector insulte my soon and invite him to fight in front of everyone. He screamed to me and told me to get out of the place and to take the scratch van with me. Was a very difficult time for me. Hector was very disrespectful, he screamed bad words in Spanish, And I as a woman try to stop him when he try to hit my son. And everything because I told him that I want them to replace the scratch part because was a brand new minivan. Also when I sign the contract The van had just 8 miles, and when I went to pick up, the van was 14 miles. Inside we find rice and was dirty too. Thats clearly means that they completed the registration and insurance under my name and then someone used it. Customer service is the worst.
Not satisfied at all they don’t explain enough. Felt like I was forced into leasing a vehicle. Have called so no many times to speak with the owners daughter Kim and she won’t return my calls. Feel like I was scammed for not having enough knowledge about leasing

I would rate this place 0 stars if I could, I made an appointment to buy a car from here and 2 hours in Mike came over and said they sold it. Now instead of apologizing he said but lets look at the other cars. I would not recommend Mike at all. I would address concerns and jump over it saying he will fix it. He treats people like a customer when really when you are buying a car you want to feel like you are heard and like a king/queen. The manager wasnt any nicer- said it happens all the time. So if you make an appointment and actually want the car then dont come here because they will sell it as you are signing the papers.

The phrase Shop Us Last youll love us has never rang so true. I spent all weekend looking at cars and wasting my time. I walked in there with little to no hope as I came all the way from Nashua, NH and just worked my way down Route 3 and 495. They were the last place I planned on walking into, and they were a blessing!Jordan (Sales Rep) was an angel! I know business is business and we all need to make our money, but I had the most genuine experience. He truly wanted the best for me and cared. It wasnt just a sale and commission for Jordan. Everyone there was professional but as far as Im concerned, Ill never see another sales rep except him!BOTTOM-LINE! If you dont shop here youre wrong! There was no tricks, no scams, and no time wasted. I walked in asked for a car I wanted. Jordan found the car I wanted. I liked it and I bought it! He didnt waste my time and try to get me to look at other cars or run my credit or haggle me for more money. I wont need another car for a long time but when I do, I know exactly where I am going!!!!

Horrible experience. Waste of 1 hr. drive and visit.We scheduled appointment to test drive one of the pre-owned certified car on July 30, 2020. I conformed the availability of the vehicle in the morning with the sales representative, Tatiana over a text message. I also request to update me if anything changes.When we reach the dealership in the afternoon, we approached the desk and the person there informed us that the car we are there to see is not available anymore. I convey my disappointment, and told him that I would have appreciated a heads-up. Very rudely he said it is what it is, and ask if there is any other car I want to check (with out showing me options). I ask him what cars you have, any similar one, he again answered rudely not in the same price budget - as if he has judge me from my look what my budget is.I understand the car gets sold, but advanced communication, little professionalism and polite conversation could have gone a long way. Highly disappointed!

Shout out for letting me and my son use your restrooms when other places wouldnt let the public use theirs! As soon as we pulled up we were given attention and asked if we needed anything and showed us where the bathroom is and gave us directions on how to get back on the highway! This is my only experience here so far but they clearly have good customer service. It means a lot to parents with young children and for a person with a medical condition that relies on being able to use restrooms unexpectedly. Thank you!

I bought a car and picked up today. I ask for a MA TNC inspection their service department tell me to pay $15 for that. When I arrived home I checked everything and didnt find the paperwork for the TNC inspection, I when back to the dealer and they realized that they dont do the TNC inspection but I had to pay for that, and they said to go tomorrow to do the inspection. They are very irresponsible.

Horrible experience will never take my car to that dealership. Overpriced, unprofessional took my car to their dealership it was not even fixed properly on top of that the parts I was charged a whole bunch of money for was actually cheaper at other Honda dealerships. My advice to people is don’t take your car there for maintenance find a trust worthy reliable mechanic you will save a lot of money.
I bought a used car and thankfully John Murray advised me on buying the warranties. I had some issues and it was frustrating! Due to COVID I had to wait for resolution I was desperate. I thought I’d made a bad choice and was very unhappy! Thankfully their amazing service team especially Tish and Lee were able to undertake all of my issues. I can not thank them enough! Worst experience ever. Had an oil change appointment at 5pm and they come out at 630pm and tell me they forgot about my car and all the guys left even though they close at 7pm? I wont be back here again. Thanks for nothing!

It was the worst service I have ever had. I went to the store to buy a CR-V that I saw on the CARFAX app. I arrived at the store at 11am, took the test drive in the car and decided to buy. As soon as I got back inside the store the salesman was attending to other people at his table. My service took over 2 hours because he was attending to me and other customers at the same time. And at the end when I gave him my credit card to pay for the car he went to the payment department and returned with my card tearing the paper with the proposal and told me that the car had already been sold while we were negotiating .I told him that I had arrived before and they couldnt sell the same car to two people at the same time.But to my surprise the salesman turned his back on me and left me talking to myself.He didnt even try to offer another car. He just turned his back on me.I will never go back to that store and I do not recommend it to anyone.

The ambience of the entire dealership (lacking at the new Herb Chambers in Dorchester) and the feeling of being a valued customer.
Very bad dealership I would never buy car from them again, two years ago I bought brand new Honda HR V 2019 from them, and I tried to trade my car with them but they wanted to screwed me and make me give my car almost for free and they wanted to make me pay extra money for Honda pilot 2018 EX L, I went to another dealership and I bought very nice Honda CR V 2017 Touring model droved for only 17900 mileage almost brand new with 83000 mileage warrantee and the prices was very good. my advice dont buy anything from them, they have bad service and bad selling

I gave her 5 stars because Tish Sampson who is the Service Manager, was very helpful in explaining what needed to be done on my car to fix it. They were able to diagnose the problem, order the parts, and have my car ready. My rating is due to the excellent professionalism and customer service skills Tish Sampson represents. Be careful bringing your car for service to this place. In one year they broke the oil pan bolt tread of my pickup truck and my sisters SUV. It was just for an oil change on both cars and ended paying to fix what they broke or otherwise i had to tow it. DEFINITELY WE WILL NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE AGAIN

I agree that a car dealership wants to make sales, but that is how they stay in business. Jordan & the staff wanted to make sure my wife & I were comfortable & that this was the best deal for us. We purchased a new 2020 CRV & they gave us the best competitive price I had seen after doing much homework. They gave us a fair price for our trade in, but being that the total price for the new car was so sharp, I was fine with that. Unfortunately, you ARE dealing with dealership prices if you come here for repairs (plus probably finding out about more things you need to have done...), but Ive always left feeling more secure about my vehicles over the years - and they do free car washes now!
0 customer service. No communication regarding service. I booked using the online website for an inspection, and waited 90min before I had to search for someone to give me an update. Turns out, they had taken my car to another dealership without my approval for a simple inspection. None of this would’ve been an issue if they had tried at all to communicate delays. Everyone else in the waiting room seemed to have a similar issue. Many had been there since 9am with no updates on what was supposed to be simple maintenance

FIRST, THEY DESERVE A ZERO STAR. I BOUGHT A black peace that goes into a rear bumper for my honda pilot 2011 last week. I went there yesterday with the item I bought not even imagining what was going to happen next. The same guy who sold me the item last week was working and he happens to help me again. I told him that I no longer needed the item and I wanted to return it. Keeping in mind that the same way he gave me the Item it was the same way I returned. It was wrapped all brand new. The guy told me that they were going to charge me 25% from the price I bought which is 77.88 dollars. If you do the math that would be 19.47 dollars off. I found that ridiculous when i heard that. So, I said I definitely would not take less than my 100% amount back. He told me that the fee is a restocking FEE. I dont understand why I had to pay a 25% to return an item that he grabbed from back of his counter that wasnt even ordered or so.ething special considering that he knew i brought it the same way he gave it to me. Now I. Really getting frustrate and angry about it and I said, I want to talk to your manager. The guy goes and talked to the manager, manager comes out and tells me on the receipt it says the returns may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. I said to the manager, I want my full return back. He is giving me the attitude of I dont care look! And I explaining to this manager how intact all wrapped and everything but that wasnt enough for him. After I told him that I had been doing business with this dealership since 2008 and that my family have 3 Crvs and 1 Honda pilot the manager said okay I will charged you 10%. I said no I want my full refund. We were going back and forth. I said forget it, I will not come anymore, this people dont care about customer service, they just lost a customer with 4 vehicles on my household and my future purchase just because the people overthere dont know about how imlortant is to give customer service. I will make sure to let my whole family who have hondas as well and friends not to go over there. Thank GOD that there is a Honda In Salem NH who really care about customer service. See you never commonwealth Honda ✌✌✌
I sell cars for a living. So, when my wife told me she wanted a Honda we went here as our first and last stop. Our salesman Perry was very pleasant and wasnt pushy. The process was very important for me because this was my wifes first car and I wanted it to be painless and it was. The sales manager Hector and the finance manager John Murray were great. IThe car was spotless, and we couldnt be happier with everything. Id highly recommend Commonwealth to anyone looking for a Honda.

Do not work with Esteban Rodriguez. He will treat you like a king if your deal seems profitable or “doable”, but if your deal doesn’t work out, he will not answer your calls once you cancel. And if so, he will be rude, sarcastic and unprofessional. I had to constantly call and drive there to get a $2,000 refund for a deposit I left after my boyfriend’s deal didn’t work out.Also, after I rated him here and gave him a bad review for his actual poor service, he wrote me a bad review because I work for a dealership as well so he did it just as a revenge. The difference is, that I was a customer at his dealership but he wasn’t one at mine. So immature and unprofessional from their end but that just shows who they are as a company and the type of people they hire to work for them. Be mature and don’t play games like that, real salesmen don’t go around just leaving fake reviews as a revenge because someone actually rated their bad service and poor professionalism.

Mr. Carlos Ortiz was a very good salesman. He took time with me to find the right vehicle for the money I was willing to spend. He thoughtfully answered all my questions and made this buying experience pleasant and painless. He even took the time to go over all the details of the car when I came to pick it up.Mr. John Murray was also very helpful in guiding me during the financial process. I am very happy with my experience at Commonwealth Honda! Mostly because Merrimack Valley Credit Union has a free auto advisor who helped me along the way. I was searching for a car by myself for about a week and was very frustrated working with sales men. Kevin gave me a call and found this vehicle for me in less than an hour. He was extremely flexible and we went to look at the vehicle the same day. Kevin was able to go through the whole process with me from the beginning test drive all the way to picking up the car with ease. Before I got to the dealership to test drive the vehicle he had worked the price down to a number I was able to afford. Not only did he help me through the buying process but gave me ample advise about cars, loans, insurance and was personable along the way. I felt no pressure from him to purchase anything. I would not go back to any dealership without an auto advisor next time! The whole process was so simple from start to finish. Excellent representative my boyfriend bought a brand new Honda Civic 2018 for a really good price. With excellent customer service and they worked with him to make the car affordable and also what he wanted it was a very nice experience. Its the second time he has bought in the vehicle through them and the Honda Accord 2017 was an excellent experience as well I would suggest to others to go here first and not even have to go to any other place its that good

The service center has won over a customer for the life of her honda! Glen our service advisor saved us $4K to be exact from what another dealership quoted us totto fix anoan issue with our 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid.Turned out it was not the IMA battery, but an issue with the electrical board. Which with his research he found was under warrenty until 150K miles. We are at 134K. Ive questioned an issue for years and was told its just the way the car runs.Picked up the car today and under full warrenty. Zero cost and was assured the car is being kept up great and has much life left. Drove better than it ever has. Thanks Glen and Commonwealth!
BUYER BEWARE - this dealership uses unfair business practices to close deals. They outright lied to me, did not live up to their commitments and when I discussed my disappointment with them, they responded by saying there was nothing I could do about it. I have saved communications to prove they lied to me, including several texts with the sales person. When presented with those communications, the manager (I believe his name was Hector) responded by saying why would I do anything, we already got him to sign. I contacted Honda Finance directly, who confirmed that the dealership was not living up to its commitment, but said that was between me and the dealership. Honda Finance said it would not get involved.I no longer want the vehicle for the next three years. I paid more than the initial agreement because the dealership lied to me. In conversations, Honda Finance confirmed one of the dealerships lies, but said there was nothing they could do and it was a dealership issue. Its a real shame it has come to this. I have leased five or six Honda vehicles in a row, and planned to continue to do that for both myself and my children. Now I tell everyone I know to stay away from Commonwealth Honda, and will certainly no longer do any business with Honda in the future. Ive learned that you just can not trust the organization so I will move on to a brand that may appreciate my business and loyalty.
They will not warranty their labor. If something goes wrong with the repair and you take it to them to look at it, they will want you to pay for that. It should be part of their labor warranty. Worst honda dealer I have ever use. Stay away from this place. I did the same repair (changing the pads ) on the back at the honda dealership in salem and i has NO PROBLEMS you guy just want to scam people in to buying thing that yhey dont need. I took my car to a different mechanic and he said that whover worked on the car didnt know what he was doing he readjusted the pads and no more noise . He also said the calipers were fine.
