I called looking for waterproof riding pants to pull over my perforated gear when it rains. I had my gear with me, and the lady I spoke to looked out options for me to try when I got there. I arrived, looked at several options, made a purchase and was on my way in less than half an hour. I would definitely check here for anything that I need to try on before buying, and recommend the store to friends that need the same. BIG selection of helmets on the wall.

I just started riding, so this was my first time in a motorcycle gear shop and I could easily spend a lot of money in this place. The woman (unfortunately I don’t know her name) that helped is a rider and was very knowledgeable about the gear. She also gave me great recommendations for what I should get, without pushing for me to buy anything. I guess she knew I would be back. And, I definitely will!

Great place to shop for motorcycle gear. I needed a small tank bag for my bike something to put wallet and other small stuff. They had a large selection in the store to choose from and was told they had even more online . I selected a bag made by Bilt. The bag sticks to the motorcycle with four small powerful magnets. Would have gave 5 stars but have not used yet. Will update after this summer using it. I highly recommend Cycle Gear for your motorcycle needs they have a wide selection of items you can use when you have a motorcycle.

Definitely a different experience if your from the Commonwealth of Virginia. Maryland store personnel was nice and helpful. The increase the variety of jackets and helmets.

I was assisted at every turn. It was especially pleasant to be able to talk about our passion with people who would be out riding if they weren’t at work. When I asked if any of them would be participating in tomorrow’s community ride around the beltway I was saddened by the fact that they would all be working but I viewed it as a sacrifice to the Moto Gods and that theirs was a noble gesture to ensure that those than need equipment on that day or any other would be able to find it. I bought things…not exactly what I was looking for but I left with a smile and some goodies anyway.

Small store yet big in charm and friendliness!!!I highly recommend this location if searching for a helmet (many brands and sizes and if they don’t have it in the store, you can go to their website to order.)The store is small and mostly geared toward outfitting men but did have a small selection of women and children clothing. (At the very least, you can get an idea of quality, then head to their website with confidence.)The manager and staff were super friendly and knowledgeable and there is a small designated parking area for motorcycles.

The guy working, I wish I had gotten his name, was absolutely awesome. I had no idea what I was looking for as I am a new rider. I visited them today, not my first time but it went so well AGAIN I had to to review.The employees are amazing! Very helpful and willing to help you figure out the best product for YOU. The store is very clean and well organized. The only problem I have and it is not with the store itself but of the products is that it is hard to find motorcycle gear for plus size and curvy women and the same is for the big and tall man. Would like to see more items in this bracket.Otherwise will be coming back!!!

I go to this place a lot, since I first started riding. Here I got my first gear and continue to go for more gear, never enough. The employees have always been polite and willing to answer my questions even if they were very simple.

Came in not knowing necessarily all the stuff to get Oz in Laurel, MD really helped out a lot. Definitely as my kids grow I will be back to see him there.

Omg I needed a helmet and Alexis was wonderful and so knowledgeable. She helped out with a jacket and a charger for my bike. She was so helpful and friendly and inviting. As a novice rider I cannot state enough how comfortable she made me feel.

Was looking for womens riding pants & calling around before making a long drive because not many stores have much selection for women. Oz was super friendly & helpful! He looked through for my sizes & put some aside for me. Everyone was friendly & the store has tons of great stuff!

Nice in-store selection for a modestly sized place. Staff was willing to help and had useful advice, but things were a bit chaotic. However when I asked for some tire levers the salesperson recommended a set, which I purchased ($35), only to come home and find that they were used and scuffed up, despite being in new packaging. I visited the store again, which was not an easy drive, to address this and was told to come back another day. Hugely frustrating. In essence, despite purchasing over $250 worth of goods on the same day, they were accusing me of lying to get a single use out of $35 levers. I understand they don’t want to be taken advantage of, but logic says they are in the wrong here.

The sales person that helped us was very knowledgeable, polite, friendly and very helpful. My wife and I both bought AGV K6 helmets. He took the time to show us multiple helmets and explained the differences between each. We were able to try on several helmets, which helped us make our decision. Signed up to take the new rider course with Harley Davidson, a requirement is gloves, a jacket, A helmet and boots over the ankles . Being a complete novice the associate that goes by Tank, was so informative, so patient, he explained why each item purchased was suppose to fit my body a particularly way . He went above and beyond the call of dirty from start to finish, he met all of my expectations . Looking forward to returning to just get more gear and overall knowledge, the experience was rewarding !

Im a brand new rider and found this store from searches Ive done online. When I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed help. They were able to give me the knowledge needed for the helmet I wanted. I was also there a second time and was given the same courtesies and knowledge about a jacket very good store cant wait to make my next trip back to the store for other goodies to ride.

These guys are awsome. They dont push you to buy the most expensive. They sell you what you need and explain the price and what it brings. As a new rider they definetly got me as a customer. The guys were very friendly and extremely helpful as I went in looking for a face shield for my SS1600. I ended up getting 2 faceshields and they suggested I get the faceshield bag to keep them from getting scratched up and applied my military discount. Definitely the place to go for your motorcycle needs!

Stopped in to check out helmets. They had a great selection if helmets but unfortunately not the size in the one I wanted. However, they said they could order it and had in at the store on Wednesday - I was there on a Saturday. Friendly staff too.

This was on a nice day, & there were several riders in store. Salesmen were busy with other customers. When 1 did ask, if he could help me find anything, & I asked about helmets, he says that was the only he had in stock that would fit me. I wouldve ordered the helmet I liked. Maybe bcuz its was 20 mins b4 they closed. Still, he did check on some tools for me(which was sold out).Inventory was depleted & store isles crowded. Meehh

Although the variety of products is a lot, the customer service is for lack of better terms horrible. Me and a friend both arrived on motorcycles thinking we would get good service considering we’re both riders, we both felt unwelcomed. As we entered we were screamed at from the back of the store to put on hand sanitizer‘s before the door behind us even closed. With the same tone in his voice the employee demanded us to take off our backpacks off our backs. Other than this interaction there was no other communication with the employees until it was time to check out.

Had an emergency Birthday need. Cycle Gear store in Laurel, MD was a life saver.

I never write reviews, but I feel obligated to write one after the service Oz gave me today. Im taking the MSF this spring, God-willing. So, I went in to see what type of gear Id need and price it out. Oz was super helpful. He explained how theres different gear for different seasons and how Id need to decide how much protection versus comfort Id want. I hadnt considered either of these things before. So, I have some thinking to do.Oz also told me that helmets, jackets and boots are the most important gear and that I should not skimp on these. He even told me about certain brands I should consider.Oz is a real down-to-earth dude, he knows his stuff and how to help people out in an honest way. His customer service is exactly what an oncoming rider like me needed. I didnt need anyone pressuring me to buy a $500 jacket.I didnt buy anything today, as I need to do some research. But when the time comes, Im buying from Cycle Gear. Yall gained a loyal customer
