I always get the friendliest service when I go in here. No one ever makes me feel dumb or like an inconvenience bc I come in with a problem and ask them how to solve it. They just assist me in finding the proper products and are always happy to explain everything thoroughly. I just really appreciate the staff here 💜

I always shop at this ACE Hardware Store and the customer service is usually great, except for today. The cashier was following me and spying on me constantly and then proceeded to send a man to standby and watch me; I think that man even took pictures of me. I felt very uncomfortable.When I come in to purchase something I like to look around the store for new stuff that can help on my house or work. Today they made me feel like a shoplifter.

Best hardware in town

We were not given the price on bags of peat listed outside on the flats. We were very disappointed and I plan to complain to cooperate. The manager refused when asked by the cashier on the phone. The cashier was very courteous.

Fantastic hardware store. Good selection for the size of the store. Almost always find what I need so I dont have to drive into Billings. They have also ordered stuff in for me. Super helpful staff. Have had many great experiences there over the years. One time I was with my 2yo getting a big list of items for the house, including gutters. Went to Home Depot and couldnt get anyone to talk to me for more than 5 seconds, much less help me. Left there and went straight to Laurel Ace Hardware. They took my list, filled a cart, ordered in what they didnt have, and then loaded my truck. All I had to do was watch my daughter and pay. Sure, it cost a little more. But I would have paid even more than I did for that level of service.

I wasnt comfortable there.thr store is small and crammed full. It felt very chaotic and the front of the store is very congested, have to weave thru people at registers right when you walk in...the first associate that I asked a question snipped that they can push the button and someone will show up, and went back to running the register..but the second clerk was very friendly and actually used the intercom to send someone out to the propane..

Helpful people good prices

We are owners of several Sthil products and we always find everything we need there. Most of our home has been built by the tools and parts we have purchased for our equipment from this fabulous store. The employees are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable too. Its fun to go in there and chat with the employees while shopping for much needed items.

They were quick to help me find what I needed, they knew exactly where the items were located at. When I got there I thought I would be at least 20 minutes of searching, but I found an employee stalking shelves in one department, I asked him where I could find certain items, located in the complete opposite side of the store, he knew exactly where to look, I was in and out in half the time.

Ace is always friendly n very helpful. Plus u can take ur pets in with u as well n they get a doggie treats from em.

I am a regular customer of Ace Hardware of Laurel. They have some extremely talented staff whos knowledge is a godsend for dumb people like me when it comes to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, etc. Their only problem is their knowledge is in such high demand, it can be slightly frustrating, while your waiting. Plain and simple. their AWESOME, but short staffed. So be prepared to wait at times because their in such high demand with their knowledge and educational abilities. Still rate 5 stars.

We shop here a lot. The crew and staff of Laurel Ace Hardware are friendly and very helpful. If one person cant help you with your problem, rest a assured that they will get you to the right person. One gentleman that works there, knows more about our housing pipes than we do. Ross had helped us 5 times in one day, just to make sure that we got the right parts for our water leak. Very helpful and knowledgeable in his lounge of work. I recommend going to Laurel Ace for all your needs around the house.

Ive given this place so many chances over the years, and have always tried to give them my business.. But I think today will be the last time I go here.I regularly go to this store to buy hardware for various automotive/heavy truck projects. And every single time I go in to get stainless steel hardware there is barely anything in stock. Most of the stainless steel bins are empty EVERY SINGLE TIME!And on the rare occasion the bins arent empty, they have the wrong size in them, or have metric hardware in place of SAE or vice versa. Not to mention the metric selection itself, stainless/12.9 or not, is an absolute joke!Year after year I keep going here, and every time I am met with disappointment. I can not keep wasting my time and money with this place! Sorry, but until you have a realistic stock of stainless steel and metric hardware I am done shopping here!
