Hello this is sad customer service. So I went to this store to look for a basic home defense shot gun. I asked the elder rep behind the desk. and he provided a mat black pump action shotgun and handed it to me. no ammo of course it was already cleared and unloaded. I vegan to do a function test and he yelled what are you doing I said testing it. while I was looking at it he began to become antsy like im going to take off at this point Im reading his body language. I ask how much it is and the owner says I dont know. seeing this I handed back the weapon and twll them that he is being rather wierd so Ill just purchase my other items and leave. wich was 1 box of ammo. after I pay he says did I take the ammo. I say what he says he sat the box on the counter and accused me of trying to steal another box. I have been overseas 4 times in actual combat and still serving as a police officerin a major tough city to be treated like this is insane because I was not in a uniform everything is not about race but u lost a customer due to bad customer service .....

Used haze for a transfer service was quick top rate and efficient. I also brought a kel tech ksg from them again was very pleased with the service. Will definitely be back

Awful customer service!!I dont do google reviews but I had to leave one for here.. its that awful..The person works at the store sounded so rude and Insulting for asking a question as a new gun owner... don’t waste your time here..Goto other places that will help and appreciate your business!!

Only complaint is the super high FFL Transfer fee of $100 for simply a pistol never seen this high of a price ever typically around $50-$60 in MD

This is a great place. The folks here are very helpful and kind and I was very happy with my purchase. They dont mind to inform you on the laws and processes necessary. I will definitely be doing future purchases and transfers with them!

Worst customer service ever. Was insulted basically for asking a question as a new gun owner. Loud, rude, cold atmosphere and unwelcoming. Many inappropriate political comments and attacks just thrown out without warning. Everyone is free to speech but there is a time and place for everything. Don’t waste your time or money, you have too many better options that will respect and appreciate your business.

I had an outstanding experience dealing with Haze. Used them for an FFL transfer. In and out in 12 minutes. Real cool guy. I will be doing my transfers through him from now on.

In the store everything is fine they greet u and if busy i been asked to give them a few minutes do to other people n the store. My only problem is the online ordering. I ordered two 45asp magazines back n April 5th and paid extra for net day delivery. Here it is April 26th no phone call, NO PACKAGE still, I dont have no tracking number to see if what i order has even been sent out and keep being told ill b refunded for my next day delivery and guess what..... I still didnt get that. So i spent closet to $100 and only got two email replyies 🤷🏿🤷🏿. Saidly i wanted to order a ten round mag for my glock 17 but ill b goin to the glock store.

Not a newbie to firearms, but I wanted one of my own. Hazen and staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Process took a bit, but thats Maryland for you. Will be back and will recommend to others.

What they have on their website, is NOT what they sell in the store. If they do have something in the store, that was advertised online, it costs DOUBLE the price for the same product. Nowhere online does it say online only price or anything to that effect. The selection in the store is minimal at best. You can buy anything online, from any website, and have it shipped to any FFL dealer in the state of MD (which is every single gun stores). So there is nothing special about this gun store other than sub par selection and misleading advertising on the website. You can go to any other gun store in the state, browse a much larger selection, be greeted by friendlier and more knowledgeable staff, and if they dont carry exactly what you want, they will be able to order anything for you, believe me, I have done that exact thing 12 times so far. What I wanted today was something my girlfriend found on their website so I drove an hour to get there only to find out that it was online only and they did not have it in the store and what they did have, was 2-3 times the cost. I left the store and will purchase exactly what I want from a gun store that is not misleading and not as expensive. Like Tyler Firearms, The Gun Connection, or Top Gun Firearms. All 3, very good stores, very knowledgeable and polite staff, up front about the cost and everything you need to know about the firearm, and have gunsmith services available if you need work done. I tried a new store and was very disappointed, its not worth visiting.

I did an online C&R transfer through this store and it was a very quick and pleasant experience. He called as soon as the firearm arrived and when I stopped in to pick it up we got through the paperwork quickly. I would definitely visit again for purchases and transfers.

The operation is on point. If they dont stock it check the online store and place your order then pick it up. Great service and notifications for pick ups. The knowledge of the owner is vast and accurate.

I went to Haze Line last month to purchase a handgun. When I went in for my purchase we sat down and talked a little bit of everything. He instantly becomes your friend. He doesnt do it as a gimmick to sell you a gun, hes genuinely a cool guy. Hes a vet and owns his own business, which is very admirable. I recommend supporting small businesses like Haze. Not only are his prices excellent; his knowledge on firearms is great, and his friendly and laid back personality will make you feel like youve been long time friends. Haze gave me a great deal on my gun, and Im glad I purchased it from him. He constantly gave me updates on my purchase. I recommend everyone to purchase from here. Thanks Haze!

Placed an online order, 12 days later got a call saying my firearms were in, finished up the last bit of paperwork, 7 days later picked the firearms up. Couldnt have went any smoother. I appreciate it guys!

Placed an order online and wanted to get my order transferred here for pickup. I go to store at 11:30 people inside but he comes out and says we aren’t open store says it’s opens at 11, anyways he ask what do I need I tell him that they need him to send a copy of his FFL he says ok he will handle it and call me when my item arrives. I leave and he never sent it. I call and ask did he do it and he says he spelled “anchor” wrong and he will do it now. I call the original company I order from probably about 3 days later and they still tell me he hasn’t sent anything but a blank email and they haven’t even been able to get in contact with him. So if it wasn’t for me keep track of this I still wouldn’t have my gun today. I had to drive hours to pick up my item just because this man didn’t do what he said he was going to do and doesn’t respond to voicemails or anything.

Great guy, couldnt be cooler. Vet owned business, knows his stuff, made me an excellent recommendation on an entry level AR, probably saved me around $50 or $100 bucks. Have now bought my first two firearms from him, and will continue to do so. Thats the kind of thing that makes you want to go back. Support him, your local FFL!

I purchased a rifle online and get it through haze line(FFL). I had a great experience from start to finish. Everything was delivered as promised in perfect condition. No issues whatsoever. Also get a Vet discount. Any online gun shopping I do will be through haze line. I will be back. Thank you!

No eye contact, no handshake. The store is his house. Does not have patience with new customers. His way or the highway. He will try to take as much $ from you and run as possible. Stay away.Overpriced ammunition. Very compliant with laws. Thats about it.Values money over customer service and retention.I like to support humble local businesses. This is not one of them.Reply if you have any questions, I can go into detail on why you should choose another.

I never said I would get some from a gun show released gun. Do not put words in my mouth. Like I said folks. Not too friendly with new customers, even people that are pro-gun. His name is Hazen. He like to talk (shout) over you and not listen to his dwindling customer base. Two 19 round magazines were accidentally shipped to Haze Line Guns by the private seller I bought from online.I never requested Hazen to release high-capacity round magazines to me. MD laws were to be completely abided. There are no laws prohibiting a VA resident purchase the magazines and then give them physically to me in the state of VA. There are also no laws prohibiting you from selling your products (especially products that you did not pay for) for free if the buyer pays shipping. We had a mutual understanding of that happening. I told you that a VA resident would purchase the magazines sometime later. Little did I know that after I told you that, you would feel incentivized to sell the magazines for profit to another FFL dealer out-of-state ASAP instead of supporting your new customer and holding onto them until the VA resident purchased. I know this was your intent because you did not even contact me before doing so.I asked you if you could play fair and give me magazines of equal or lesser value and you said “no”.TLDR: You overcharge me on the transfer fee. I still buy ammunition and a bore lock from you. Yet, you choose to think about short term profit gain and sell off my magazines to double dip off my unfortunate situation.You need to speak honestly and openly about these types of situations, potential customers know how to sniff out unethical business practices. This isn’t about my happiness. I’ve already chosen to label you as a sunk cost. The purpose of this review is so that others may not fall for your antics. Hopefully you will learn from this and improve your business strategy.

I purchased a rifle through haze line. I had a great experience from start to finish. First, the rifle I wanted wasnt on his web page. So I called and he said he could get it. He updated his web site right then and within minutes it qas available for me to order. This business owner kept me informed from his personal cell phone throughout the whole process. Everything was delivered as promised in perfect condition. No issues whatsoever. Any online gun shopping I do will be through haze line. Thank you!Update, it is September 2017 and I bought 2 more guns from haze line. Once again, excellent service. I did not pay extra for shipping and all of my items came 2 days from placing the order. The one rifle had a scope with the combo. I called haze and he told me he could match that. He got me a scope of my choice with the gun I wanted for the same price. The scope ended up being a little better than the original packaged deal. This level of service is why I am a repeat customer. I would not care if they sold the same gun a block from my house. I would irder with this company because of the customer service here. Thanks again hazen!
