Customer service is garbage. I went to ask for a tablet and one of the employees started to give me an attitude that make me want to cancel my account and take my business to another company.
My parents were looking to upgrade to brand new iPhone 12βs and this store would not help them set up their phones. They told my mom that her phones did not need 5G Sim cards even though the new iPhone is a 5G phone. I told her that the phone would not work without a 5G Sim card. When she returned to the store and ask for a 5G Sim card the guy at the store told her that she did not need a 5G Sim card and that her old LTE sim card out of her iPhone X would work just fine. He told her that I did not know what I was talking about or understood how Verizon worked. I have worked in mobile electronics for several years and have been a YouTube reviewer for the latest smart phones that come out. I contacted Verizon and they told me that the associate was wrong and that a 5G phone would need a 5G SIM card. Frustrated with the service my mom ended up returning her to phones which cost almost $3000. It is a shame that this store has such incompetent people working for it who have no idea what theyβre doing and care little to nothing about customer service or retaining their current customers. My parents have since switched carriers and now use the C-Spire service. Last year I switched from Verizon to AT&T. Verizon is slowly losing what it was best known for which is customer service and it is a crying shame that stores like this are slowly putting them out of business.
I like my phone service pretty good, but I had fraud on my account and it was pure H--L getting that taken care of. After several trips to different Verizon stores and many phone calls I finally got 2 wonderfully ladies that saw what one of the men in the Laurel store saw and finally got it fixed.

Unhelpful. I was told I could get a SIM card here by the Verizon porting team after porting my number. He said he didnβt have 4G only 5G. I asked why and he said they are cell phone store and they sell 5G phones. So they arenβt there to help, just sell the latest stuff apparently. I wonβt go back in this place.

Would give 0 stars if possible. The worst customer service I have ever received. My mom got a new phone and they would not answer her questions, they wouldnt explain anything to her, and they wouldnt even activate the phone. They sent her home with a phone that isnt set up because the guy was too rude to do anything for us. Never returning. Go to the hattiesburg locations instead.
Great service and friendly place. My husband had to replace the tablet that got broken on the way to an event. They were able to get us going very quickly.

Do yourself a favor, and drive to Verizon Wireless in Hattiesburg. The consumer experience in Laurel is deplorable. My questions were met with nothing but short, vague, and sarcastic responses. HORRIBLE! I felt as if I was more of an inconvenience than a potential buyer. Again, it is worth the drive to Hattiesburg where I did purchase my new phone.

Was not welcomed into the store or even greeted. Waited for 4 people in front of me. Wanted to know why voicemail wouldnt show up. Man said I dont know, call customer service. Verizon is the most expensive cell service and now no customer service.
I would sell my left liver for the perfect cell phone service provider. Since one doesnt exist, Verizon will do. This particular location has some very experienced salesmen and women, and Ive bought a few phones from them. They are well versed in current memes, so you can always expect a good laugh when you come here. Disclaimer, they WILL try to sell you stuff you dont want. Just be prepared for that.

I went in for a new phone, and while the representative was βniceβ, he was very pushy. While I was looking for a phone cover, he took it upon himself to select a $45 screen protector without ever asking if I wanted it or especially if I wanted one with the ridiculously dark βprivacyβ feature. I tried to adjust to the dark screen, but I finally went back to swap it. Because my 14 days had passed, there was no other choice but to buy ANOTHER screen protector. Iβm a student, so that $45 (now, plus another $28) could have gone towards my bill instead of being wasted. π€π€

This store doesnt have mobile phone knowledge. They also are so rude. Im a new customer and I am trying to exchange a phone. I went the first time to get the Google pixel 3a. The workers couldnt find it in the stock room. So I left. Then I went back to get the Motorola G7, again the Repersenitive told me they didnt have it. I told him he did, he didnt listen to me another worker had to tell him he had it, and he listened. Verizon needs to clean this store out and hiring all new employees. Hell I know more than the workers there you know why... I keep up with mobile networks and cell phone news. It isnt that hard. It also isnt hard to smile at customers. Lame excuse for a Verizon store.

I was a customer at verizon in Laurel, ms even before it became verizon. When I took this plan with unlimited usage, I WAS NOT told that there would be a cut off time and my speed would be reduced. Well it was and I was upset. Then August of last year my allowance was extended to 15 because I was a good customer. could you please take a look at my account and see if I might merit another extension this year. I homeschool my great granddaughter who has cerebral palsy and I need more time with a continued amount of speed. Thank you.

These people at Verizon will let anyone on your account go into the store and make changes to your account and file a warranty claim on a phone without getting approval from the account owner before doing do. I called to talk to the mananger about it and he wouldnt answer any questions, he put me on the phone with the guy that made the mistake. The guy named Chris that works there allowed my nephew to make an unauthorized warranty claim for a factory defect and the year warranty had been out since March of this year... when I called and talked to him he lied to me and told me that he thought my nephew was my husband and he shipped the warranty phone to a different address and had my nephews name on the box..They have messed my bill up many times before this and its taken months to get it straightened out.. I would strongly recommend going to another service provider if it picks up in your area. These people have no idea what they are doing in any store you go into they take forever to get a phone activated for you and then end up not telling you the whole charges that will be on your next bill.. if we could swap to a different provider that would pic up around my area I would definitely be swapping but this is the only one that allows no roaming charges that will pick up in my area.. always make sure you keep a check on your account at all times and watch for unauthorized usage on your account because these reps at the stores dont care if you get charged for a warranty claim that wasnt defective. He was even willing to add a line to our account without permission also.. so be very careful when dealing with Verizon
