Very nice furniture but very slow getting the pieces to you. I paid off items in June n I just got the delivery date. First week in August! usually cant get anyone to answer my calls. I actually had to go there & speak to them in person. Nobody ever knows the date your furniture will be ready for delivery and its way longer than what they tell you at time of purchase.

Would like to say this was the best service from start to finish. My sales person Jerry was great we got there close to closing and he never stopped helping us until we found the chair I liked. Jerry and the other staff worked over to take care of us and was not upset or unhappy at all. They had my chair delivered the same week for free and was early. Then I got a card in the mail thanking me for my business and hoped I was happy with my chair and service . This was the first time I shopped at Johnny Janosik and it will not be the last because I was treated like I mattered. Thank you Jerry Gray.

Moving forward, I was leaning back in my leather recliner & I said to myself β€œthis is a comfortable chair, this was well worth the money β€œ. I have used Johnny Janosik for over a decade. I have had the worst experience waiting for my furniture for over a year, the manager Nick Knickerbocker is nothing but a fraud and liar who just wants to make sales and sells dreams. I do NOT recommend this joke of a store for anyone. The delivery drivers are WOW. After recovering furniture for one room while it was raining they decided to not put nothing over there shoes while going in and out of the rain and messed up my flooring that I had installed. This company uses there employees as scapegoats so no one takes accountability. There customer service is the worst, I had one of there employees call and threaten me to not have my furniture delivered if I didn’t return there bed frame. Nick Knickerbocker Left a voicemail stating that we could either keep it and he would refund our money due to there incompetence in redoubling the matter or buy another set and he would apply it towards the new furniture and the bed frame would be kept with us because it’s junk. However, Nick Knickerbocker, lied when leaving a voicemail. Due to this fraudulence, my wife and I will be seeking legal assistance in this matter and take this company to court for JUSTICE!

On Saturday, May 8, 2021, my husband and I stopped by Johnny Janosik in Camden De to look at patio bistro sets. We were immediately greeted by a very pleasant sales person by the name of Franklin. Not only was he courteous, professional and knowledgeable about the item, he was patient and was willing to do what he could to make our visit it the store a pleasant one. It’s that kind of customer service that keeps us as customers of Johnny Janosik. They should β€˜clone’ him...LOL!!! By the way, we made the purchase!!!

Wife and I came here to shop around for bar stools. Which lead us to looking at swivel chairs for the living room and then a round table dining set. Yes the sales consultant, Dana was a pleasure. She was very helpful and gave us tips on color coordination and such. It was a good experience to shop here and I do recommend the store. Their selection of furniture is very diverse to meet many different life styles. Price on furniture is reasonable and the range of price is low to high. Pricing will meet anyone budget.

We left the main store and went to the clearance center to browse. Found exactly what we wanted. We found the reclining couch and loveseat that we came out to get. Although we were not looking for bedroom furniture, we ended up with that to! Found a coffee table and end table. We were so excited! Griffin, our sales associate, was amazing! We then went back to the main store to purchase a recliner. Our sales associate was not happy that we purchased items at clearance store and proceeded to tell us all the things they did wrong. I left feeling not as happy as I was when I came in. I think both stores should be on the same page and if you tell a customer something, it should be right. I understand frustration, I just want to feel like a customer and regardless of how much or how little I spend in each store, I am appreciated.

I am posting on behalf of my parents Howard and Brenda that are in their 80s. They moved up from Florida in October and needed to buy some furniture. They were told 12 weeks for a recliner that they wanted. With Covid and everything being slower it was understandable. 12 weeks pass and nothing. They were then told 4 more weeks. Although it was frustrating waiting another 4 weeks they weren’t going to make a big deal over it. Now the 4 weeks passed and no chair. Now they are being told June. That’s 8 months!! They say they are not waiting another 16 weeks. To cancel the order. They are told they can’t just cancel it and Refund the money. They can’t get ahold of the company and the manager isn’t in. They should have contacted them when they knew it wouldn’t be in on time. When you have to wait 5 months from the original order you should get a full refund no questions asked. I feel like they are taking advantage of an elderly couple. They don’t follow up on any orders after they’re paid for. As soon as they have your money you’re no longer taken care of. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I should never have ordered from Johnny Janosik. The sales people don’t know anything about Bassett. I have worked in customer service for many years and these people we dealt with should NOT be in sales.Wrong measurements were provided. After looking at our paperwork we realized the sales rep gave us the wrong measurements on the size of the sectional which I had to make a phone call the next day to get resolved.Wrong fabric was ordered. There were 2 different fabrics with the same pattern # on it but different color and description. They are similar but the one we picked had more of a golden tone to it.The wrong layout was ordered: 2 months after we placed our order, I spoke with the manager at the Bassett store in Annapolis (next time I’m buying from them!), he gave me some paperwork on the layout and dimensions of Bassett’s sectionals. I realized that the sales rep. at Johnny Janosik had ordered the wrong layout! I drove over to Johnny Janosik (an hour from my home) to discuss this with the sales rep and her manager. They made a photo copy of the paperwork I received from the Bassett store and said they would take care of it. I expected a follow up call to let me know our order had been corrected and an updated lead time. NO, I didn’t receive a follow up phone call letting me know the status. I had to call them myself and they almost seemed annoyed that I would want to know if the correct sectional had been ordered. Johnny Janosik does NOT provide good customer service. They never even apologized for the inconvenience and their mistakes!Took 6 months to receive! We placed the order mid September 2020 and did not receive it until beginning of March. Due to all the aggravation, I had asked the sales rep to throw in free delivery. She said she’d see what she could do. Once the furniture was finally in, I asked her again about the free delivery but she said her manager wouldn’t go for that. I’m sure she didn’t even ask.I should have cancelled our order with them. Don’t make our mistake! Never buy from Johnny Janosik!

I hate shopping. I know I needed a recliner but I feared simply viewing these things online was going to do it for me. I came into the store with some trepidation. I thought I knew what I wanted, but where to begin? I was greeted by an employee who was not pushy in the least, but who had a plan to help me find what I needed. Within an hour I had settled most decisively upon the chair that was going to meet my needs. Some of these needs I did not know about before (such as lumbar support). I left very happy with my purchase and less resentful of shopping. On a side note my purchase was never delivered and 8 months later the store balked at giving me my money back. I had to go to my credit card company for help. Whatever you do, do not give them cash!

Future customers beware. However friendly the staff are that helped me, They will exclude certain information for a sale. Here is some of this info. If you order a custom piece of furniture, they have no idea when it will be ready for you even though they give you a time frame. Also they will not issue a refund for custom ordered pieces, even if it never shows up. Just be aware that you may have to wait a time unknown to anyone to receive your order.

Great experience. Joann was a zero pressure sales person. She listened to my needs and wants and with everything going on with COVID-19 she helped me out a ton! This was a huge relief as I had just spent about 3 hours in the Laurel location where I walked circles around the same area of sofas and had several sales people turn the opposite direction when they saw me. I had to seek out a sales associate and even then they were dismissive and completely uninterested in making a sale. Well it was there loss, because Joann in Camden got that sale. Thank you Joann! They should have you teaching those amateurs in Laurel. After all I work in retail as well, only I’m not on a commission, and I know what good customer service is and what poor customer service is.

This is my second review and I really wish it would have been better then the first. The first one was about $14,000 of furniture that was half delivered and nobody wanting to get back to us. After I wrote a review the phone ran .2 seconds after the send button was hit. They wanted to make things right and had us come to the store and pick out new stuff that was in stock. The new furniture was starting to get delivered and we were happy. Now here’s the issue. This was August and the last things we received were September 2nd. The first kitchen table was broken. They put an order in and got us another one. The second table although in better shape had some issues with it and we were told it could be taken care of. We still haven’t heard anything and when we called they said they didn’t have any information on it. Another issue is the last piece of furniture had to be order we were suppose to get it end of September now they are saying November or December. This is the same issue as the first time. We have other family members who are moving and asked us where to get furniture. I really wish we could have said here but customer service isn’t good. No communication and never get a call back. Just tell you something to shut you up until next time you call.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE! I received a flyer form this company raving about the sales of the majority of items on the floor and that there is a 5 day window. The flyer/letter has a line in it with no asterisk stating you will get 10% your sales at check out along with a coupon for free delivery on the back of the flyer. I selected an item and gave them the flyer (you had to present the flyer to get the additional 10% off) to Jacob the sales rep. He took the flyer to the manager Nick Knickerbocher who was not helpful or customer oriented at all and basically said that this was only on certain items. He was very pompous in his response and was running circles around my questions. I have the letter and I am taking it to a lawyer for review as I said there was no asterisk or anything of the sort to allow you to know before you drive an hour roundtrip to spend your money at their establishment. This is false advertisement and I am not going to sit by idly and allow them to treat people as such. The funny thing is I had cash and it would not have hurt them to give me 10% off of an item. I will not frequent and spend my hard earned money with a company that has a lack of integrity.

Ill keep it short. Wayfair messed up our order and My wife and I need to buy a sofa today. We were set to spend around 2k which is what we spent at Wayfair. We walked in and no one greeted us. We did a lap around the whole store, saw at least 4 people not helping anyone, and no one even said Hello. We were greeted by John McKee who served as our salesman during our shopping experience. John was courteous, very patient and knowledgeable of all the furniture we reviewed. Due to their excellent selection of furniture companies and in store service we purchased all three pieces of furniture today. My wife was interested in a certain furniture collection that J Janosik carried. Aided by Dustin, who was extremely professional, she found exactly what she wanted. The quality of the furniture and the care everyone involved in the purchase was excellent. No one tried pressure sales or any bait and switch tactics. Dustin and the people involved were knowledgeable and had practical suggestions which allayed my wifes concerns. They made the experience such that my wife is looking forward to working with them on future purchases.

The couch I ordered came in three recliners to make one. Well one of the recliners, the connector was put on incorrectly and in turn, the recliner doesnt connect to the other recliner. I waited weeks for the part to come in just to find out it was the wrong part. I received a call that the new part came in and it would be fixed the next day. The next day came about and was told it was the wrong part again so now that means I have to wait again.

The sales people are professional, helpful, and courteous. What we saw here was that the furniture is of high quality. I have been shopping for a living room sofa in other well-known furniture stores and this one is a 5 star store. We had a pleasant experience in our purchasing. We cannot rate delivery as we have not received our sofa yet.

We bought a chair on Saturday, September 29 at the Clearance Center.The Sales Associate was very pleasant and patient as we took a long time making our decision. We were her first sale and it told her some time to process the sale, but that was no problem. As I had worked in retail about 9.5 years and knew that learning new things take time. We appreciated the way we were treated by her and the other sales associate. They both were very professional in their handling of things and easy to work with.Note: We have purchased furniture back in July at the main Dover store. We were treated very well there. That is why we went to the Clearance location in Camden.We would recommend to anyone to visit either store. We had a very good shopping experience at both locations!!!

Are saleswoman Elizabeth from the Camden store was very patient with my 80 year old father while he shopped for a new lift chair and finding a delivery for him just 2 days later she offered great customer service. The delivery department let me know the 3 hour delivery window promptly and then let me know when they were 30 minutes away. The were on time. The 2 gentlemen who delivered the chair showed total professionalism and great customer service making sure it was put in the right spot, that everything worked right and it was to my satisfaction. Very nice representation of your company

Everything was easy and as expected. Easy in store shopping experience in very nice showroom. Picked out very nice couch, ordered it and it was delivered to our house 4 days later as promised. The delivery men set it up even getting it up some tricky steps to do so. Very Satisfied!

My first visit to your store, I encountered Cassandra Phillips who was so helpful. We went through books and online sites, trying to find a match for my existing furniture to no avail. I told her if I decided to do something different, I would come back. Cassandras level of helpfulness was outstanding. A week later I came back to your store and met Diana Tanner because Cassandra was off. I really only wanted to do business with Cassandra but to my surprise Diana was just as helpful and eager to assist.She told me that if I couldnt find what I wanted today, she would continue to search different sites and call me back. Thanks to helpful, encouraging employees like Cassandra and Diana, I am enjoying my dining room furniture.

The customer service is okay. Depends on who you speak to. I bought most of my furniture from there back in the day great service. Excellent quality. I will give them that. I bought a pool table from them. And Waited 10 weeks for it. They said it was only going to be 3 week wait. But they discounted the pool table. So Im fine with that situation. Recently try to go there and buy two chairs lady said that they wasnt in stock. So had to be ordered waited five weeks. They called me today to tell me that they were in At the Newark location to be picked up drove there just to find out there in Dover. Get the Dover Dover is telling me that they dont have my order, but I can take the floor model. And that the pytam is discontinued. And theyre willing to give me $50 for the inconvenience and wasting my time and gas. I will no longer ever shop there and I do not recommend anyone going there. They look at some people like youre just trying to get over. So they have lost my businessUpUpdated-Spoke with the manager at the Laurel Branch excellent customer service, and she(kelly is the best) she resolved the problem. She is understanding and I probably will be shopping at her store in laurel from now on.

My xservice was absolutely excellent. Jerry made sure all of my needs and wants were met. He was very sympathetic to my situation. I had family coming into town and he made sure I would have furniture by then. All in all excellence service.
