No costumes available, store was a disaster, no staff available to help and lines wrapped around the store! Went to Spirit Halloween. So much more organized. Only let 50 customers in at a time to prevent chaos and healthy covid practices. Attendant at door to monitor, still a decent selection and store was very organized! Take some tips Party City! Made all the difference in my shopping experience.

I placed a balloon order on 6/13 at 4:03pm. I purchased Dove balloons from Amazon and 6 regular blue balloons from Party City. The instructions were pretty simple. I needed to have them blow up all balloons and have them ready for me at 10AM sharp as I would have a long drive (4+ hours) for a memorial balloon release on Fathers Day 6/20/21. I figured that doing this an entire week early would assure me that I would have them on time. I walk into the Party City on Father’s Day, get in line and when it was my turn I asked for my balloons. The young lady asked me what balloons so I proceeded to explain I dropped off balloons a week ago, paid 59.02 and was expecting to walk in and grab them and go. She walked over to the balloon section and rummaged around and found my order and said we will start them now. This infuriated me because I needed to get on the road to start my trip so that I could arrive on time. The young lady proceeded to blow up one dove ballon and then stopped to help a customer several times. After I was waiting for 15 mins and still only one balloon had been blown up I asked for the store manager. The store manager came up and proceeded to say I had two people call out what do you want me to do, what do you want. I said well the balloons that I paid for to be blown up, maybe say sorry instead of telling me people didn’t show up to work, I don’t know but I needed the balloons blown up and here I am still waiting. I walked out the store with my balloons which were a tangled mess at 10:45am.I don’t know if the manager or maybe her employees just didn’t freaking get it but I no longer have a father alive here on earth and this was extremely important to me and no one seemed to care. Everyone there is simply collecting a paycheck and really could care less about the customer. I reached out to Party City via Instagram and someone was nice enough to chat with me but I haven’t heard anything further. I believe they owe me a full refund for ruining what should have been a ballon release in honor of my daddy. I will never use Party City ever again, I’ll go to the Dollar Store for my ballon needs in the future. I have attached pictures of the balloons all tangled and bunch together. The ballon release wasn’t what I wanted due to them being so tangled together.

This was a horrible experience I had. I bought a portable balloon blower and it was not right for my balloons and they refused to give me a refund manager was very rude saying it had worked but for me it didn’t and said it was a policy that I could NOT return it but before I purchased it I should have been informed because if I was I would have never made the purchase and have gone on with my day. There are a few workers that are nice but some are just plain rude.

I needed a ballons for my daughters birthday. I spent an hour looking and asking for recommendation but nobody couldnt help. When I was trying to pay and get the ballons inflated, the cashier told me we dont do walk ins right now. But the other people got theirs done. Please avoid this place. This place will ruin your day for sure one day.

They Always half blow up the balloons. I paid over $30 plus I paid for the extra helium and the next day they deflated. Went back, had them do it again amd the same thing. Two days later I had to do another party same amount of money and the same situation. They obviously need help to Not have to rush so much to do such pitiful jobs.

Disappointed, ended up buying what we wanted on amazon. Party favors and supplies were basic, many different brands (Disney, marvel, etc) but the same options with different brands.

I recently purchased Birthday Balloons from here.. The sales clerk named Jessica was super helpful, quick, and kind. It was so refreshing to have this kind of service. I was going to fill out the survey she recommended, but I lost my receipt:( Thanks for the great experience!

Really bad experience they wanted me to wait up to and hour to inflate one ballon that was not going to take them more than one minute to do it it’s really disappointing they claimed that they had more orders before me however no one of them was working on any order and the store manager came to speak with me she was veery rude to me said if you wanna wait good if not than nothing I can do and then walk away without even letting me say a word .So disappointed .

It was ok, unfortunately there was only 1 cashier. I couldnt find 2 items, asked where they would be and she didnt really know. She told me they were in one isle and the product ended up like 3 isles up lol but she was very nice

Went to the Laurel location. Extremley helpful and friendly staff. Had good selections and prices for last minute kids costumes.

Everything in here was decently priced. I spent a lot of money but it was really nice to find everything in every color that I wanted all in 1 store. Highly recommended

Store was bare,alot of empty shelves...

Imagine getting 6 latex balloons for $3 at this store and they couldn’t even spare 5-10 mins to blow them up for me and sent me on my way to giant or dollar tree so other stores can take my business then Party City? So be it.....

Literally the worst. I spent $121 online for a delivery, everything was NOT delivered & when I called to speak with a manager she literally had nothing to say. Her ONLY response was, Are you sure it’s my store? I think I already spoke with you. When asked how to fix it her suggestion was make an online order even though I think it’s down right now, but you can go to Columbia they are open & the ballon you want is $12. I live in Laurel & your ONLY way for problem solving is to go to another store. Literally I will NEVER support another Party City. This was the worst literally the worst. Oh she also suggested I speak with customer service, even though they aren’t open on the weekend. If this is the only way someone can problem solve I don’t want it. $121 wasted due to piss poor customer service, not once offered to make it better.

They literally have any and everything you need for a great party! I like how they have things organized...made it super easy to find things. The prices arent bad either. The manager and cashier were really nice.

Never disappoints and Of course i went Halloween Eve.. super crowded but Honestly its a rush for me to find all the right items for my kiddos Halloween needs. They are reasonably price great selections and versatile options if needed. I recommend this location for your party needs. They always have what I need.

This Party City has been here about 4 or so years. When new it was well stocked. Sadly thats no longer true. Too many empty slots and too little attention to basic party goods. Theyve become overly focused on the holiday material. They had the punch bowl I needed but no ladle. I needed blue gift bags and the various blues were out of stock. They have a boatload of gender reveal party stuff but minimal boy/girl. They use to stock the bubble gum cigars. Only one opened box on the shelf. Worse yet was one cashier and she was handling balloons along with the register. Had to go elsewhere to finish my list. Sad. Used to be a good source for party supplies.

This store is great for getting discounted party supplies. Went here to get things for an Anniversary, and I was shocked at how much they had for such low prices! The staff was really friendly and very helpful.

Didnt have what I wanted

I was very unimpressed. First visit for me at their new location. Aisles are not marked well. Spent a lot of time trying to find what I needed. Short staffed. Couldnt find anyone to ask. Didnt have what I went to get ..a CONGRATULATIONS banner. Pretty basic but did not have. Old location on RT. 197 much better. Will not be going back.

I found a table cover for 2.99 dollar was the price that show on the ticket and then when I try to pay it .. They told me was 10 dollar and they made a mistake with the price so they didnt want to change it ..The manage r is so impolite and rude ... I wish I could post the pic with the price and the tag ...

I had the worst experience at the Laurel MD location. I was rushed when I placed my order two days prior to picking up balloons. I had wrote instruction on the order form. I waited almost an hour later to ensure my order was ready. The order was wrong. They had to redo it and when I got outside the larger balloon popped. Save your money and time go to the dollar store.

The most disgusting bathroom Ive ever seen

The cashier that was suppose to be assisting me was horrible!!! I asked him a question regarding an item and he totally ignored me. He was busy talking into the employee ear mic to inform his co-workers that a group of black teenagers just walked into the store and informing his associates which aisle the teens were heading to. Just profiling the teens whom actually purchase some items in the store, smh.

Good for Halloween costumes for children however their selection for adults are slim pickings. Unless, you want the generic period pieces or the original Hollywood movie monsters this is the place for you. If you want something more frightening even one offs that you could mix and match the pop up seasonal shops is the place.That being said you would think that a good selection of Christmas costumes and party attire like ugly Christmas blazers would be available. Instead you will find off season colored blazers to purchase. They do have a small selection of ugly Christmas sweaters though.Still a great spot for party supplies. I just think based off of this stores location it would serve them best to have a broader selection of holiday attire as well. You will be better off going next door to Burlington coat factory and find things in that respect for cheaper and higher quality. Heres hoping for next year.

This Party City has everything! Theyre huge qith ample parking and restaurants and other stores in the area! They also have a restroom so that is a plus for me! Also the cashiers are nice!

Good store big and eye catching but slow register

This place has everything you need for a party. I bought Halloween costume here. They had tons of Halloween costumes and accessories. The parking is right out front so it is easy to get in and out.

Carol at store 581 helped me get balloons ready for a birthday party! Very understanding regarding another store not having enough helium.

They have workers, but no one willing to help in the front where all of the customers are. They had the same person filling balloons and working the register while multiple workers on the floor did other stuff. Customers should be a priority when the line is long.

I couldn’t believe I found Philadelphia Eagles plates and napkins at Party City in Redskins/Ravens country. It was just just why I needed for my 5 years olds birthday party.

Second time coming to this party city in the laurel location and there customer service is horrible. Never allow you to use coupons and always have a attitude.

Customer service is completely terrible. I called in regards to a party game I ordered yesterday and got an email that it was ready to be picked up. My husband tried to go do that and was told to that they didnt do online orders there and it would be sent to our home. I called today and was put on hold for almost half an hour I could hear the employees giggling and having conversations on the other end of the phone before the line was disconnected. I will have to go completely out of my way to come here again to try to pick up my item. Absolutely not coming to this store again.

Went on a weekend, half of the shelves were empty and had to wait 1.5 hours for helium. Perhaps its better to go during the week

Would recommend buying what you need on Amazon instead of coming in to the store. Understaffed and dismissive employees. A group of women ahead of me who pre-ordered balloons for a shower were told the store couldn’t find one of the foil letters and couldn’t care less. Waited in line for 20 minutes to get balloons and then was told to go wait in the 20-minute-long check-out line to buy balloons first and then go back to the balloon line. Highly not recommended.

Terrible! I waited for more than ten minutes in front of the balloons counter while three employees were just talking. After I’ve made a comment to the ppl standing behind me in line about them ignoring us, one of they guys asked me if I was picking up balloons. I told him that I wanted to order a bouquet and he said I needed to go to the register first. Not only they saw me checking balloons and choosing the colors, they completely ignore me while I was there. I went to the register and left all the empty balloons and left. Next time I get helium and do it myself. They lost my business since I own a dealership near the store and I was planing to get balloons on weekly basis...

It was a ok visit, it was hard to find a sales associates. The cashier wasnt that pleasant. The positive about this visit is, I was able to purchase all of the items I went to that location for.

My experiences have always encountered rude employees. At Halloween a lot of party supplies are put away seasonally. Say that on the phone or online if someone calls to ask if you have it. Getting more expensive for little things.

Almost everything in there was NOT optional for religions that DONT celebrate a ghoulish halloween 🎃. I really just wanted a fun NONHAUNTED costume!😖😣😤 Would not come again...

I love party city, they alway have great things for every event, I found party bags favors back in december for a Christmas reunion with friends, first comunion back in april, I can go on and on...

Couldnt find what were looking for. Stuff is expensive and anyting which have been bought from there before doesnt last long.

Poor customer service and poor quality product. All my small balloons fell to the ground within 12 hours. Items advertised as in stock online was told was not in store. Go to Columbia Party City.
